What HDD is in the Booklet?

For those of you who have upgrades HDD's and have their original HDD close by can you tell me the model HDD it is? I dont have my original HDD anymore and need to send my Booklet in for repairs. I may try and buy back the sata that came with it so i can have my machine maintenanced under warranty.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Ok,
Swapped my drive for a Runcore 64GB, really bummed cos after taking 12 hours to clone the disk and after installing it, the disk is faulty, all sorts of disk errors, hangs when I try to do a clean install of Windows 7 etc.......Will have to be returned - back in goes the Factory Hard Drive, but not before jotting down all the details for you.
Anyway here are the details of my Factory Installed Hard Disk Drive, Nokia Booklet purchased from Best Buy for full retail price ($599):
(loads of numbers, I will list them all as they appear)

I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

If the songs still do not download, next I recommend downloading the songs when connected to another network. For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network. What if after I bought the album it didn't include the booklet?

I just bought The Killers's "Battle Born", and I didn't see the booklet in my iTunes library. I know when I buy an album, they usually include them. I also went to the page on the iTunes store, and they said the booklet was "album only" so I don't understand why I don't have it... Because I bought it.

Because of the price I'm not interested in solid state drives, unless of course you want to send me $1,000.
I've already got external drives but I take my mini back and forth to work and don't want to carry those drives with me.
I'm not interested in buying a laptop. My mini works great so why waste $1,000 or more when I can buy a 1 to 3 TB hdd for under $300 and have exactly what I want. My late 2009 Mac Mini with a large hdd.
I went to Crucial's website and they can't tell me what drives fit my Mac Mini. That's where I got my ram (8GB). I'm ONLY interested in name brand quality HDDs.

The limiting factor in your 2009 mini is the max 9.5mm drive thickness.
One of the largest capacity 2.5" drives that meets this criteria is the HGST (formerly Hitachi) at 1.5GB
Any reputable SATA HDD you can find that is not thicker then this 9.5mm will work.

A New HDD just fallen on my lap recently, I'm new into Premiere and I wished to use it for my video edition.

Motherboard: GA-P67A-UD5-B3
Hard Drive: 2 * Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB in Raid 0
Graphics Gigabyte GeForce GTX 570 Fermi Windforce
The new HDD: is a ST 7200.14 500 gig.
Right now, because I have no choice, all is on the RAID 0 array.
I want to know for what / what to put on the new 500 gig HDD I've got.

TY Safeharbo11, you've answered my question correctly.
For now I don't plan to mess around Windows and RAID configuration, I don't need a huge performance boost. When I'll do I'll probably go the SSD Route for Windows.
For the RAM, I have the cream of the crop as RAM speed / latency goes, and I don't use more then 50-55% of it in my projects. So I won't touch it for now (they cost me 125-130$ / 4 gig kit; I have 2 of thooses).
I doubt the Image would do since I'm Running a On Board RAID Array (not a dedicated card for it). I will still look into it.
Bottom line I'll move the Video source files on the new hdd for now (to have at least Windows & Premiere on a different drive then the Video files).
I'll keep looking for a other 500 Gig that I could use to create a other Raid 0 array.

What to do when the ssd "wears out"?

I recently bought a Macbook Pro with Retina Display, 256gb ssd, 8gb memory. However, after reading into the difference between hdd and ssd, I noticed that ssd's have a shorter lifespan because of each cell having a read/write limit. my question is what to do when the ssd "wears out" or dies? Is it impossible to fix or can I just buy another ssd? Thanks in advance.

and a better guaranty or warranty with a product such as OWC offers. However one
has to always maintain suitable backups and duplicates, not just timemachine effects
but also complete bootable full system clones in external drives that don't use the
computer's port power to sustain or run them.
And also backup power supplies that filter grid power to limit damages from high and
low voltage, along with other effects of nature and man that can destroy electronics.
The backup scheme of over-redundancy is the answer to the problem of when product
failure can cost you not only a livelihood, but perhaps a few years of your life, too. And
not everyone can use the Cloud backup, some ISPs are incapable of troublefree file
handling and a local backup is a better use of your time if something happens.
SSDs wear out. Expect them to and be ready for that to happen. Mark your calendars!

Have latest bios 1.9. and original disk at 30GB.
Have an Hitachi 40GB I tried with, but notebook did not find it.
So I would like to know what disks and sizes that are supported for that model.

Very strange did you use a compatible 40GB HDD?
In my knowledge the notebook should be able to recognize the 40GB HDD.
As far as I know the 30 GB HDD which was installed is a Toshiba MK3017GAP and the computer supports a 20, 30, 40 or 60 GB HDDs.
I think these HDD should be compatible:
Toshiba HDD2171B 40GB HDD
HITACHI G8BC00009110 40GB HDD
Toshiba HDD2183B 60GB
PS: The strange noise coming from the HDD could be the beginning of the end
So make a data backup.

I recently had a laptop over for setting up a new OS and there was an SSHD in it that made the boot up process blazing fast, though the transfer rate was mediocre. So I have sort of come in touch with a sort of SSD already and liked what I experienced there. Would you by any chance be able to recommend a few good SSDs off the top of your head? Let's say in the 100GB, 250GB and 500GB size league? What makes are good and what makes should one try to avoid? The box is primarily used for simple graphics editing (Illustrator, Sketch, etc), running various OSs with VirtualBox as well as office work (MS Office 2013) and mostly coding (WAMP, webdev work, etc). I have come to quite like running VMs and doing work there while keeping the host free from Windows rot. Works great so far. No gaming or intensive video editing is planned, at least the gaming part I have no interest whatsoever, might take a dab in video editing though. Why do I mention this? Well I assume depending on what the SSD is used for there are possibly better or worse choices. Since I also do frequent images of the host OS (Macrium Reflect Free does a truly excellent job there for years now!) it would be great to have a fast transfer rate on the SSD itself, I mean from the common C: partition to the D: partition. I am accepting your reply as the solution to my question and would be super happy to hear about your SSD experience, you being a true fan of this technology it seems. Again, thank you for your help. What HDD Config?

I'm looking to get a new Mac Pro mainly for video with the majority of videos being under 30 minutes, but an occasional product may be an hour plus. The majority of this will be shot in HD.
What HDD configuration and specs would you suggest?
I used to build my own PC's so am not scared by the inside of a computer therefore if there are after-market HDD's that you'd suggest over the stock Apple options say so. My division will buy whatever I ask for so cost is not a big factor.
My initial thoughts were 2 of the 300GB 15k drives in a RAID config with a FW ext. 1TB drive to allow me to work on projects at home and at work.
Am I being unrealistic on size? Do I really need the speed of the 15k drives?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

While spending $800 on the SAS controller may not be necessary since my division is offering to pony up for it should I take it or go with another option? Same with the drive issue. What's wrong with the Finder?

I don't understand it, When I select multiple items in a list, either by command-click or shift-click, when I attempt to move them or copy them, the moment I start to drag them I'm only holding one item, or half of what I selected. The rest of the selected files or folders stay put.
Also does anyone else have this problem.... In TextEdit or any other application, when I just click inside a window the default system highlighter becomes active. Meaning when you select text it becomes highlighted, well I'm just clicking in a TextEdit window to make the window active and it highlights whatever I click, especially when returning from another application or window.
Also in the finder or any other app. for that matter, but mostly in finder when I select multiple files or folders by command click, all of a sudden, it just depends when it wants to, all of the files or folders will open at once. So files open without being double-clicked. I checked my mouse preferences and that's not the issue, My double-click speed is fairly low and I'm not ripping through the list speed clicking everything. I'm all software updated, ran permissions, cleaned cache files, including font cache, re-boot nothing works. What's going on.

there is also what's called LCC Connection utility, which allows you to
troubleshoot, well, connection issues and that's fine. I guess the mouse may just
be on the fritz.

What's wrong with the display?!

Of my many macs, one is an iMac snow. It still works pretty good, and recently I put in a new harddrive and installed Mac OS X onto it. It's been working perfectly fine for the last few months now. However, just early today the display went bonkers. My little sister was playing a game, and it said that in order to play the game, the colors must be set to 256. So I clicked okay and changed the settings from millions to the settings the game needed. When she was done playing the game, however, the colors were all messed up. I tried restarting the computer first, but that didn't work so I went into the preferences and tried to fix the color there. Still, nothing worked. I don't know what's wrong. The colors are in the negitive. Everything that is supposed to be white is black, everything that's supposed to be black is white, everything that's supposed to be blue is red, and so forth. I can't get it off this negitive effect. Can someone please help me out?! Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

In version 3.6 I can not open a website link from original page, I keep getting a new window that is blank and asking me to put in a web address. What has changed with the new version?

When on a page if I click on a web link I get a new window that is blank and asks me enter a web address. This started happening with the new 3.6 version. It seems to have something to do with what I choose for the location in my privacy settings as the window changes with each setting but I still cannot get to the new site. Any ideas? I have no problem with this in IE and I have to keep opening IE when I encounter the problem on Firefox which is annoying.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.
