What I Import is not what I exported (IDML CS5)

Hi,
I'm evaluating Indesign Version 7.
I have received an indd file and could read it in CS5 without any problem. I exported it to the IDML format in purpose of translating it. When reimporting it I noticed differences in the layout. After some tests I noticed that the roundtrip exporting to IDML and reimporting it does not work, Does anynody experimented the same problem ? Even better, does anybody how to fix this ?

Apparently it goes through two different releases of the version .
Do you think there is something to do in order to regenerate a kind of clean indd ?

I guess the first thing you now need to do is to get the latest drivers for your printer because as you say you uninstalled it from your machine and now reinstalled it again. I don't know why you thought printer should have been uninstall;led but anyway, please reinstall the driver and then see if it is recognized by your operating system and try scanning something as a test from outside the PSE13 before going back to PSE13 and trying to scan your real image.
Please post back so that Barbara or R_Kelly can help you as I don't use Apple Mac.

When did you install?
Spotlight will need to re-index the entire system so that can cause slow performance if you updated recently. It can take many hours on a large disk with a lot of data. Click the Spotlight menu, it should say if it is still indexing.
There is no point trying to fix anything whilst this is ongoing, because it may just speed up when complete.
Are you able to drag photos from email to the Desktop or to iPhoto's icon? How about the 'File menu > Save attachments' option?
Please clarify what you have tried, otherwise we may waste time on the wrong thing.
If the system is generally unstable there are other things to try too, such as safe boot.

That will isolate all third party software, if the Mac is able to do the things that didn't work it suggests that you have software that is loading at startup or login. The easiest way for us to see these is if you download EtreCheck & generate a report.
Post the report here & we can try pointing to items that you can either update or remove.

I attempted to export about 10 keychain items following the procedure in Keychain Access Help. After selecting the items
I found that Export Items was greyed out. I then selected the items one-at-a-time and found that Export Items was grayed
out for each item. What is the problem? I am the administrator of this computer. Help offers no further help about why
items cannot be exported.

sadly, "some keychain items" seems to be the understatement of the year. I have not found any exportable items yet. And I have no idea why it should be impossible to export a simple Internet password, e.g., or a secure note.
In other words: "Some keychain items can not be exported." – I already read that in the help text. So please elaborate. Which ones cannot be exported (for example). What are possible reasons? Is there anything I can do about the "non-exportability" of an item? And which ones actually can be exported (for example)?

Aperture is Exporting but I don't know what its exporting...

On the bottom the wheel is spinning saying that its Exporting. I didn't instruct any export and when I click to see what its exporting, there is nothing in the activity window and no way to clear the export...
anyone have any idea what this is about??

Hi,
RESTRICTED CUCM is the "full" CUCM with media and signaling encryption ENABLED . This does not mean the feature is ‘ON’ all the time, simply that it is available for the customer to use.
UNRESTRICTED CUCM versions have all media and signaling encryption features DISABLED to comply with US export laws. This means that they cannot use CUCM encryption.

I having the below written error, when i want to export or import my database. I having Standalone system using windows xp.
Role Error - Export and Import are not supported on 10g databases for users logged in with the SYSDBA role. Logout and login using a different role before trying again.

It should be like the very first time you synced your phone with I-Tunes. It will notice you haven't synced before and just copy everything from your phone into I-Tunes. It shouldn't delete anything from the phone, at least it never has for me. It just puts a copy of everything into I-Tunes and even if you delete an app for example from your phone and you decide you want it back later, you can just go back into I-Tunes and copy it back over. Hope this helps.

Physical export : Product exported out side the country . Sold against LC ( letter of credit ) . This can be called as Direct Export also.
         Documents required to be prepared while physical export : Bill of lading , Cargo   manifesto , Certificate of qty and certificate of origion .
This can be with bond or without bond. If you export under bond , duty will be forgone , means , you will be creating ARE otherwise you need to pay duty .
Deemed export : Sale to the customer who is going to export the product after reprocessing in his plant . Here customer is within india.
         CT3 : is issued in case of sale to EOU ( Export Oriented Unit ) factories.
         CT2 : is issued in case of non - EOU customer ,but he is going to reprocess the product and export .This can be with or without Advance authorisation .
Hope , tried to explain in short the definitions and basic concepts. If u need in detail , i agree with Mr.Lakshmipathi.

Import steps not specific to Transport Request

Hi all,
I need to move 5 Released Transport Request as "Local Change Requests" to another SAP installation.
I followed two guides to do this:

However I have problems creating the Change Request that contains all my requests: if I generate it as Local Change Request it is not available on cofiles and data folders.
So I created a new Virtual System called M02 and I created a standard consolidation transport link between my original system M01 and the virtual system M02.
Then I created a new TRANSPORT OF COPIES Transport Request and I selected as target system M02. All objects are correctly added to the new request and the validation is correctly performed.
However when I release the request on the SOURCE server I get the following error:

I get this message even if I generate the new Change Request from a single Change Request (the first one that we released).
The cofiles and data files are correctly generated, however the IMPORT on the TARGET server returns an error (invalid data package)
My question is: is the "Import steps not specific to transport request" message correct, or should I modify something? Why am I getting this message?

Hi Chinna,
Its a warning message you can ignore that... if you want to see what exactly the reason for warning in SE09 --> select the released request --> click the Transport Log Ikon --> select the warning message and click the spects Ikon --> go on expanding you can find the warnings of Objects in Yellow...

I don't think you understand: I want to open Dreamweaver and build a brand new site, then when I am done I want to host the dreamweaver site on the Business Catalyst platform. I dont want to use anything in BC to build the site, I just want to use the hosting platform. I do not want to import a BC site into dreamweaver or anything like that. I just want to use BC the same way I would use godaddy, or uhost or any other hosting provider. Based on your response you said that "of course its possible to build a BC site in Dreamweaver" I dont want to build a BC site, I want to build a Dreamweaver site and host it on the BC platform. Like I said before it doesnt seem like this is possible. As of now we can only build a new site in MUSE and integrate it into BC without using a BC template. Can you understand what I am saying. I DONT WANT TO USE A BC TEMPLATE, I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH BC WHILE I AM BUILDING THE SITE WITH DREAMWEAVER, JUST LIKE MUSE DOES.

Not able to Export RequestDataset from MDS in oim 11g

I am able to import request dataset into MDS, but not able to export the same data set. How ever, I have exported oim-config.xml, successfully. Can any one help me here. Actually I wanted to export any one of default request datasets (AssignRolesDataset.xml). Is it possible?

Thanks Rajiv, I was confused with requestDataset's attribute "name" and file name of the requestDataset. I thought, OIM uses the name of the requestDataset to export as well. But its using the filename of the requestDataset. How ever, I exported succefully. Thanks.
Can you explain, what type of information, OIm stores in DB for export and import funcationality?

I succeccfully export DMP file using sys user with the option full=y.
I want now to import the schema objects for the user1 with the folloing command:
C:\oracle\ora81\bin\IMP.EXE sys/sys@bas fromuser=user1 touser=scott file=C:\omran12-06-2005.dmp
But I received this error :

We are using Appex 3.0.1 in live version and development version is 3.0.0, we have totally 7 appication in same workspace and database is 10g for both servers. we are able to export and import the appication from Live to Development expect 1 Appication. while trying to impor that appication we are geting below error.
*1 error has occurred NOT COMPATIBLE (Your export may contain calls not supported by your application version.)*
We didn't get any issues rest of the appications and all appications are running fine.
Could you please let me know what are things i need to check/modify to import that appication and not able to understand why this appication only getting issues as all the appication which we are imported in same workspace itself.

If you have the problem application on both DEV and LIVE, then export both apps and do a text compare to see any suspicious calls

Crystal Report (visual studio 2005)-Hyperlink not working on exported PDF

I have created a crystal report by using VS 2005, there are some hyperlinks inside the report.
After i exported the report to PDF, I check the PDF file, none of the link contains inside the PDF file.
It seems a bug, i google this issue, some people can export to RTF first and then in RTF save as PDF, then the link should be there. I tried it, it works, but it totally mess up my report layout.
