What-if Depreciation Report

Hi,
I need to build the Fixed Assets 'What-if Depreciation Report' as a BI-Publisher report containing additional data not displayed in the standard report. This report is kicked-off together with running the 'What-if Analysis Program' from a form in FA, but I can't find where the concurrent program is registered to run together with the analysis program generating the data in order to replace the RDF with the my custom RDF. Does anyone know where this is done?
Regards,
Arthur

Julie,
In note 30260 point 3, you get the explanation.
The reporting without the option 'posted values' calculates the
asset history sheet as if the catch up method is switched on.
When you use catch up, you have even no problems in comparing the
asset history sheet with the planned values in AW01N.
When you use smoothing, you get a difference between planned and
posted values, as soon as you have postings in the current year,
change the depreciation method and so on.
When you use smoothing, you have to use the indicator 'posted values'
in reporting.
You will find the indicator 'smoothing' or 'catch up' in the IMG of
asset accounting - Integration with the General Ledger - Specify
Intervals and Posting Rules
Best Regards,
Blaz.

  • To add "Transaction type" in  depreciation report  (S_ALR_87012026)

    Hi SAP Experts,
    I have a request from a user to add selection option of  "Transaction Type" in the Depreciation Report.Is this possible to be done by adding in Dynamic Selection?If yes, how?
    Refer to SAP Note 439407,it seem like it only cater for structure ANLAV only but not for for ANEPV - BWASL.
    Please advise since im trying to avoid copying the standard program.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    Yes, user-defined fields added as per SAP note 335065 are shown in the report output.
    Alternatively, you can also create a sort version. However, check the restrictions for both options as outlined in this note.
    Though still, you cannot add the transaction type as a field as the note  is pointing out the tables from which fields can be extracted from: ANLAV/ANLB/ANLV only.
    CI_ANLU is about user defiened fields in master data and so you cannot add BWASL in this table as this field has nothing to do with master data.
    Just on the side a small comment: not sure of what benefit it would be to see the transaction type in a report such as RAHAFA_ALV01 as this report is mainly about all sort of information regarding all types of depreciation values.
    I hope this helps further.
    Kind regards,
    Brigitte

  • How can we know what r the reports done on a particular cube or ods

    Hi Fnds ,
         I just want to know what r the reports done on my CUBE or ODS.
             is there ant specfic table or t-code for that.

    Hi Ravi,
    Double-click on your DSO/ Cube, go to the 'where-used list' option on the top right-hand side. When you drop-down, you can see all the objects where the DSO/Cube is used. If it is being used in a query, the same would be displayed

  • What's the report to see the result after we run KSUB ?

    Dear All,
    Could you kindly help me ?
    I'm new for FI-CO .
    If i'd like to run assessment, and in the cycle I use Receiver Rule: Variable portion and type is Plan SKF . The sender will be cost center and receiver is WBS Group.
    Afterward, I run KSUB to run cycle.
    And I'm keen to see the result after doing the assessment, what's the report for it ?
    Could somebody tell me ??
    I wanna see the result from allocation ( type assessment). What's the report for it ?
    Thanks a lot.
    Have a good day,
    Best regards,
    Daniel N.

    Hi,
    the sender / receiver relation and the values are reported after executing KSUB.
    Another possibility is to execute KSB1 report for the sender cost centers and the assessmnet cost elements for the assessment period. Create a layout where the receiver (=partner object) is displayed.
    Best regards, Christian

  • What is aging report or aging query

    hi
      i am suresh,
            what is aging report or aging query.
            can any one tell.

    Hello Suresh,
    Based on the business requirements you design the inventory aging report. Here are few scenarios:
    1) Technical Name: 0IC_C03_Q0021
    Use
    This query displays the inventory aging for selected materials per week and calendar year, and is used in the KPI monitor.
    2) Technical Name: 0IC_C01_Q0009
    Use
    The percentage of total gross inventory (based on value) covered by expected demand within a specific time bucket.
    3)
    With this picking strategy the system proposes the oldest quant in the storage type as the quant that should be transferred.
    The system generally calculates the "age" (length of time in storage) of a quant on the basis of the goods receipt posting date from the Inventory Management (IM) application component. The system automatically sets the goods receipt date in the quant and in the transfer requirement for every goods receipt posting in IM. When the transfer order is created, this date is copied over to the quant record of the destination storage bin.
    You can accept the goods receipt date that the system sets or you can enter a different date. Regardless of whether the system proposes the goods receipt date or you enter a different date, the date is used to calculate the age of the quant. This date influences the sorting sequence for each material.
    Prerequisites
    When you define the storage type record to use this strategy, enter f in the Picking strategy field.
    you can find more details in Help.sap.com which fields needs to used etc.
    Hope this helps,
    Bye,
    Naga.

  • What is interactive report , difference bet interactive and classic report

    what is interactive report , difference bet interactive and classic report

    Hi
    Check this thread to get more idea about ALVs.
    Interactive ALV
    DIRLL DOWN AND INTERACTIVE REPORT
    http://www.sap-img.com/abap/difference-between-drilldown-report-and-interactive-report.htm
    As the name suggests, the user can Interact with the report. We can have a drill down into the report data. For example, Column one of the report displays the material numbers, and the user feels that he needs some more specific data about the vendor for that material, he can HIDE that data under those material numbers.
    And when the user clicks the material number, another report (actually sub report/secondary list) which displays the vendor details will be displayed.
    We can have a basic list (number starts from 0) and 20 secondary lists (1 to 21).
    Events associated with Interactive Reports are:
    AT LINE-SELECTION
    AT USER-COMMAND
    AT PF<key>
    TOP-OF-PAGE DURING LINE-SELECTION.
    HIDE statement holds the data to be displayed in the secondary list.
    sy-lisel : contains data of the selected line.
    sy-lsind : contains the level of report (from 0 to 21)
    Interactive Report Events:
    AT LINE-SELECTION : This Event triggers when we double click a line on the list, when the event is triggered a new sublist is going to be generated. Under this event what ever the statements that are been return will be displayed on newly generated sublist.
    AT PFn: For predefined function keys...
    AT USER-COMMAND : It provides user functions keys.
    TOP-OF-PAGE DURING LINE-SELECTION :top of page event for secondary list.

  • What is xml report?

    Hello all
    what is xml report and how to create them?
    i have no idea about how to use xml report, please help me.
    Thanks
    yash

    Hi
    what is xml report ?
    Pls have a look Over Here, and look for the word XML to get an obvious back ground.
    Well,this an example regarding Reports 10g ; You can use the XML distribution file to generate your report and send to:
    1. file,
    2. ftp,
    3. printer,
    4. mail
    This is the most common example (one by case):
    <destinations>
    <!-- FILE -->
    <file id="imcd4" name="C:\pdf_files\REPORTNAME.pdf" format="pdf">
    <include src="report"/>
    </file>
    <!-- FTP -->
    <destype id="imcd1" name="ftp" format="pdf">
    <property name="desname" value="ftp://user:password@path/REPORTNAME.pdf"/>
    <include src="report"/>
    </destype>
    <!-- PRINTER -->
    <printer id="DEST44" name="myprinter">
    <include src="report"/>
    </printer>
    <!-- MAIL -->
    <mail id="imcd3" to="[email protected]" from="[email protected]" subject="REPORT">
    <body srcType="text">
    Free text
    </body>
    <attach format="pdf" name="REPORTNAME.pdf" srcType="report">
    <include src="report"/>
    </attach>
    </mail>
    </destinations> XML file has some standards for the constructions but you can do it, using notepad.
    The instruction to generate your report using xml is from forms:
    report_id := find_report_object('REPORT_OBJ');
    set_report_object_property(report_id,report_filename, v_rep_name);
    set_report_object_property(report_id,report_server, v_server_name);
    set_report_object_property(report_id,report_other,'P_DATE_FROM='||TO_CHAR(:CONTROL.W_DATE_FROM,'DD-MON-YYYYHH24MI')||' P_DATE_TO='||TO_CHAR(:CONTROL.W_DATE_TO,'DD-MON-YYYYHH24MI')||' distribute=YES destination='||v_applconf||'/FOLDER/XMLDISTFILE.xml');
    report_job_id := run_report_object(report_id); Pls notice that , distribute=YES and destination=path where the xml file must resides.
    Those parameters must be in the line to execute the reports to be able to use the xml distribution file.
    If you run your report using url you may need some thing like this:
    http://host:port/reports/rwservlet?report=REPORTNAME&distribute=yes&destination=/PATHWHEREXMLIS/REPORTNAME.xml&userid=user/pass@db
    when u user destype =file then you can hide ulr or can't open explorer as follow
    WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('javascript:window.open(http://servername:7778/reports/rwservlet?destype=FILE&userid=xyx/xyz@orcl&desformat=PDF&parameters&report=LETTER.rep&DESNAME=CLAIMS_NOTOFICATION_EMAIL/'1||'.PDF'||'&PARAMFORM=no);self.close()') ;
    Hope this helps...

  • What are Adhoc reports

    Hi all,
    What are Adhoc reports in HR?
    Best Regards

    Hi,
    It may be difficult to provide a list of business scenarios across an enterprise where adhoc reports are used. However, In generic terms, adhoc reporting is used when your business users are not just information consumers, but are more of analysts having special reporting needs which are non-generic in nature, that BI teams can not provide pre-configured reports. (Typical scenarios where you have a global BW system and you want to let the local users create their local adhoc reports)
    This, of course means, business users should have the requisite know-how to create reports and should be equipped with all relevant info( like authorizaions, rules for information dissemination etc.).
    I always preferred creating queries at the most generic level and let the users create query views (instead of letting business users create adhoc reports).
    Hope this helps.
