What if I don't want to use the cloud to sync?
I don't need the cloud nor do I want to use it. I was perfectly fine with syncing contacts and notes from my Mac to my iPhone using iTunes. Apparently that feature is gone now with the release of Mountain Lion? Is there any way around this?
No, I don't sync via iTunes any more, but the option is clearly still there, with a warning about what might happen if I turn it on.

iCloud only "syncs" data in the iCloud account, not data in other external accounts such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc. If your email, contacts and calendars are hosted by another external account, such as Gmail/Google, you may want to not sync this data using iCloud as you would have import it all to the iCloud account in order to do so. Instead, add your external account to your iOS devices and in Settings>Mail,Conacts,Calendars>Add Account and turn on contacts and calendar syncing with your external account.

I don't wish to use the ones already present in the gallery. They do not meet my requirements. Therefore, I want to create/design my own screen layout for the responsive HTML5 output. Please let me know the steps to do so. How to create a SLZ file, what is the code that I need to write. What are the components that I need to create to have a complete screen layout to be used in a responsive HTML5 output.
That would require inline formatting and I doubt that is an option.
If I am following you, the header area is full width of the screen so I cannot see how it can be broader, Perhaps you mean deeper? A screenshot might help here. The change would be made in the layout.css file.

I suspect that too is controlled by the layout.css.
To make the changes you would have to go into the layout.css and modify that. As you will see, it is a very complex CSS and that is why I said creating you own layout is not easy. Hopefully when Willam is available again, he may be able to give you some more specific information.
I think Willam will confirm that if you cannot read the existing CSS to make those changes, then creating your own skin would be beyond your capabilities. Please do not take any offence there, I am simply emphasising how complex a task it is to create a skin from scratch. It's not one I would take on.

I'm trying to use Time Machine on my Macbook (which is a year old) to back up onto a 1Tb external hard drive. I have 860 Gb free on the hard drive. But for some reason Time machine presents me with the statement above. How can I back-up my laptop without clearing out the data I already have on the hard drive?
Time Machine must back up to a hard drive that has been formatted in Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Your drive is likely formatted in FAT 32.
If you want to use the drive for Time Machine backups, you will have to erase it and reformat using Disk Utility on your Mac.
First, move the files that you do not want to lose to another temporary location and test to make sure they are OK.
Second, erase the drive that you want to use for Time Machine backups and format it for Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Third, move the files back to the hard drive. Test to make sure they are OK. When you are sure that the files are safe, you can erase them from their former "temporary" location. (Although I do wonder how you are backing up these files).
Time Machine will not touch the other files that you have on the hard drive. -

backups are always a great idea.
When you are ready to buy the upgrade, you need to CALL the Apple online store and ask for 10.7. They will sell you a download code that can be redeemed in the Mac App Store. (the 10.7 software is "put away" so that users do not buy it in error).
In leaving 10.6, you shed any programs that require Rosetta emulation. These are my top six:

Eudora 6
FileMaker Pro 6

Using a browser, only the beta version is available.
You can download the non-browser non-beta versions of Pages for OS X and iOS from the app stores.
You should be able to share docs with anyone using the latest versions of these apps. -
Generate Sample data for the cube .- I don't want to use the flat file

I know there is a sap sap standard program where you write records to the cube. I think first you change the cube from basisc to real time cube and then another program which displays a ALV layout- you can create,delete or change ther records.
I don't want to create a flat file load for this. I want to create 5 records to check the layout.
I forgot the program name.
Can you please let me know the program name.

I can't hear people when they call me. How do I raise the volume with out using the head phones?
You can only raise and lower the earpiece volume while you are on a call. So, make a call, then use the bottons on the side to adjust the volume. If you're not in a call, those buttons will adjust the ringer/media volume.

I have two seperate iPhones on my cellular carrier, but since I unwisely used the same AppleID for both phones iTunes, the two different users end us seeing each other's apps and directories of phone numbers (when each is sync'd through the cloud).
How do I take one of the two phones and move it to a different Apple account?
ThanksTo move one of the phones to a different iCloud account (if that's what you want to do), go to Settings>iCloud and turn all synced data to Off. When prompted, choose to keep the data on your iPhone. After everything is off, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. This will delete the account from the phone but not from iCloud so the other phone will not be effected. Then set up a new iCloud account with a different Apple ID and turn iCloud syncing in Settings>iCloud back to On. When prompted, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new iCloud account.
You will then have to go to icloud.com and sign into each iCloud account separately and delete any unwanted data that you don't want on the phone syncing with each account. -
Any good note taking apps that don't use the cloud to sync to PC?
I'm looking for a note taking app that has an iPad client and a PC client that also acts as a server. I want to be able to keep my ipad notes in sync with my PC notes for work without using any cloud-like services. My iPad is connected to the same corporate network as my PC.

I am using 6023E DAQ card to collect the signals, such as AE, Force, Torque from the machine. I want to collect only some part of signal for example between start triger and stop trigger. I'd like to know how I can creat those triggers in LabView from one of the channels that I am acquiring at the same time. I found one or two library file that is only for start trigger. I know that this is availabe in some of DIAdem functions. Please let me know if you have done some example for this requirement.
If you are wanting to create a software trigger based on an analog input voltage in LabVIEW, there are several options. One suggestion would be to compare the voltage values from one input channel to a number within a loop. If the input voltage crosses that threshold (is greater than the number), have a case statement that will acquire data from the other channels. This would simulate a software start trigger in LabVIEW.
