what if i get a new computer? Is there a way I could get all my videos and music back? And another question...2 ipods one computer, can I do this?
If you get a new computer, you need to transfer the videos and music tracks from your old one before you dispose of it. Apple does not under normal circumstances allow re-downloading of content purchased from the iTunes Music Store.
And yes, you can have more than one iPod on the same computer. If you want different content on the two iPods, you'll have to set one or both to manual synchronization or to synch only selected playlists. If you want iTunes to have completely different content for each iPod, set up separate users in Windows. That way each user can have complete different content.

Hello to all, good day, sorry my english google, but it is the tool I have at the moment. I'm having trouble with my Time Capsule Airport, I made all the settings according to the manual, but there has been a connection problem with my iMac. When I finish my work I turn off the imac and then again when they return to work and care, it can not connect to Time Capsule Airport, making it impossible to remove the files and make back up by Time Machine only works when I turn off and turn on the Airport Time Capsule , but I think this may end up with the unit. In the airport utility bring up your Time Capsule.

Click on the Edit button and give us the Internet and Wireless and Network tab..
eg.
Please also make sure you are set to ipv6 in your wireless or ethernet .. whichever is used.. and do tell which.
This is wifi in your computer.
The following are important..
DO not use long names with spaces and non-alphanumeric names.
Use short names, no spaces and pure alphanumeric.
eg TC name. TCgen5
Wireless name TCwifi
Use WPA2 Personal security with 10-20 character pure alphanumeric password.
read apple instructions to help with TM and TC.. they did finally admit it has issues in Mavericks.

Mount the TC manually in finder.

When asked for the password .. that is the disk access password and save it in the keychain.

My daughters I pad was hacked. The I cloud was turned off so the tracking system would not work. Is there a way to find out what time of day this happened.

Ok so what if your computer crashes before you get a chance to save all the music you bought to a disk or something, like everything is wiped outta the system and all you have left is the music on your ipod. Say you buy a new computer, can you just plug your ipod in the new computer and all your songs will show up? Sorry if confused any.
Please read this carefully:
You can install iTunes and the iPod Updater and connect your iPod to the computer.
If your iPod was set to automatically update a message will come up asking if you want to replace everything on your iPod with the songs on your new computer. Please click No!
You will want to move your music from your iPod onto your new computer so everything is on that computer and you can continue updating your iPod normally.

Why did this happens to my pictures?

I suggest steps 1, 3, and 5 of the iPhone Troubleshooting Assistant found here http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/assistant/phone/.
If you get to step 3, I recommend closing ALL the apps.
Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

I cannot email photos from within iPhoto (v. 9.5.1). When I hit send I get a message: "Your email did not go through because the server did not reply." This happens for both my iCloud account and my Shaw account. What to do???
Are you able to email from Mail with those two accounts? If so:
1 - go to iPhoto's Accounts preference pane and delete both accounts. Now add them back and try again.
2 - a better solution IMO is to set Mail as the email client for iPhoto is iPhoto's General preference pane. This gives you better access to your contacts, a sent copy of all emails and, if you want a layout similar to iPhoto's, photo layouts located in Mail's stationary. -
why when i want to download a free app from app store it asks for my apple id and when i give my apple id it then says "this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". i dont even know what that means and it will this happen everytime?
If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

Hi, my wife has 2 different .me e-mail accounts. She uses one of them on her old mac-mini, that account was .mac and then updated to .me, and so she sends and gets mail there. Now she a new mac mini and she is using her second .me account on the new mac but when I try to open (create) other it won't let me. In other words she wants both of the accounts to be on the same computer (the new mac mini) since she wants to to sell the old one. I don't have much experience with Mac and all this ID thing has me confused. Why is this happening? What can I do to enable de second mail account on the same computer?

Often, when I connect my iPod Touch 2G to the PC, instead of showing up as a device on iTunes, a pop-up appears that says I have connected a camera and asks what I want to do. This device doesn't have a camera in it. When this happens, (not always)I can't update my iPod, no matter how many times I try to connect it. I have an old Nano that has never had this problem at all. Can anyone tell me what to do about this?

Ok, so I downloaded the newest version of iTunes on my home PC, and the previously downloaded music in my iTunes library disappeared on my computer. What happened? I can sync my iPod but I am not sure how long ago I synced it so I may be missing some music downloads. Why did this happen, and more importantly, why didn't iTunes warn me it could happen and advise me to sync with another device before the download? I am not very happy about this and it's a huge issue for iTunes if this is happening. It makes me very wary of iTunes.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps then you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

In Pages, In the past, I was able to edit a template and "save a version" to update the template. Now i have to rename the template to save the changes. Why is this happening? what happen to "save a version"? its no longer an option under "file". And I can no longer open the actual template, when template is clicked, it automaticaly opens an "untitled" version???
In your description you say the first document opens as the Title you gave it.
Templates always open as Untitled so it sounds like you have saved a regular document, perhaps into your templates folder which is possible.
Since you have already worked on it and it has been previously saved, Lion will now Save for you and Save a Version is available
The other document does open as Untitled so sounds like a real template and as Peggy has pointed out will not have either Revert nor Save a Version until you Save it and have changed something in it.
This is a classic example of just how Apple's supposedly "simplification" of the process, is leading to confusion of what has happened. That the conditions and resulting actions from those conditions is so convoluted says it all.
It all reminds me of the Monty Python Life of Brian sketch with the "simplified" John Cleese instructions to the class, as to if you have a brother in an older dorm whether to hang your hat and bag on the hooks provided. The trouble is Apple does not get the joke, that it is transforming itself into a frequently self contradictory bumbling bureacracy. The price of unchallenged self appointed geniushood.
