You cannot run public DNS on a single server. You need to have two servers (for redundancy's sake), and you need a static IP address for each one. If you only have a single server you can't meet these criteria.
All it not lost, though, most ISPs will run DNS for you (especially if you're running a commercial account). In addition, most DNS registrars will offer DNS hosting service. In these cases you simple tell the ISP/registrar what records you want in your domain (e.g. www.yourdomain.com) and what IP address it should map to.
2 - How to setup a registered domain in Snow Leopard Server?
Just use Server Admin -> (server) -> DNS -> Zones and add a new Primary Zone for your domain. From there you can add all the appropriate records (e.g. www.domain.com, mail.domain.com, etc.)

There is no difference. If the server has a zone defined in Server Admin then it will answer queries from anyone looking for a hostname in that domain. The only difference is how external/internet users know to use your server, and that's handled by the authoritative name servers registered with your domain - when you setup the domain you specify the IP addresses of the authoritative name servers that public users can use to query your domain records.

What happened to all of the options under Site Manager?

There used to be tons of options under Site Manager:
Pages
Page Templates
Module Templates
Content Holders Menus
Web Forms
File Manager

Turns out it was something simple. I created a ticket, and got the answer back. I clicked on "my details" under my name in the top right. I then checked and enabled "content editing". Somehow it must have gotten disabled because I was using Muse.

You're gonna have to figure out how to call AppleCare & ask to talk to "Account Security". If your english is not good, then find someone to help you. Be prepared to prove ownership & the fact that you purchased this phone from an authorized source in the US. They "may" be able to help you.

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.

PLEASE HELP!! I've used iWeb to create multiple sites, all published to third party servers. The very last site I made changes to is showing up in any domain file I open - despite their different names and locations on my iMac. I just switched to Lion.

I have created multiple websites using iWeb 3.0.4 and despite my having saved their 'domain' files in various locations and using different filenames, upon opening the domain files I keep getting the very last site I published. All the sites were published to third party servers. The domain files (still have a preview that look correct and have different file sizes) but keep going back to the last site published. HELP ME PLEASE!! Are the old files still available?!!

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Automatically working out the domain for a cookie

          We have a couple of web sites that we want to share cookies between
          we have one site www.mysite.com and another, registration.mysite.com
          If, when I add a cookie and hardcode the domain to '.mysite.com' everything
          works fine. However I would like to dynamically work out the domain because
          we deploy our sites within a number of countries and i dont want to hardcode
          the domain name (eg uk would be www.mysite.co.uk, so the domain would be
          .mysite.co.uk )
          If someone enters www.mysite.com/request.jsp i want to be able to extract
          .mysite.com out of the url and specify it as the domain when adding cookies.
          Does anyone know of any servlet related methods that can get the url that
          was requested - including the server name?
          request.getServerName() wont work because it returns the machine name (ie
          the name of your machine within a network). request.getRequestUrl() also
          wont work for the same reason.
          If anyone knows how i would extract the url the user typed in then that
          would be great

Secure script to add PCs to the domain

Hello, we are currently being tasked to utilize VMWare Mirage to upgrade our remote PCs from Windows XP to Windows 7 and readd them to the domain in a secure manner over and internet/vpn connection. We are concerned with storing AD credentials on the PCs
in order to image the computers and also concerned with the script being used to join unauthorized PCs to the domain.
Is there a secure way to store the AD credentials on the images we are pushing down within a script?
Is there a way to pre-stage computer names in AD and only allow a certain username to join pre-staged PCs within AD?
