What is 875P latest hardware revision ?

I am having a hard time trying to figure out what is the latest hardware revision for the 875P mobo. I have been told 1.0 but I suspect there is a later Rev.
Also, I saw someone referring to an A2 rev. on their board.
Where EXACTLY would this A2 be written ? What does it stand for ?
I know the Rev. 1.0 is written by the AGP slot but what about the A2 ? If anyone could post a jpg with the area where A2 should be listed, circled,it would be great !
Furthermore, is there any such thing as an 875PE Neo2 motherboard ?
A google search for 875PE Neo2 turns out a bunch of motherboards listed as such but then I check BOTH MSI web site in USA and Taiwan and only read about 875P Neo series. No PE and no Neo2.
I know there is an 865 Neo and 865 Neo2 but what about 875 ??
Anyone got a clue what the most updated situation with this board is ?
Also, the DOT and PAT are available for the 875P Neo ?
How would one know by looking at the motherboard that they have support them ?
By the way, what is the difference between Neo and Neo2 ?
Thanks a lot for all info !

Raven1, let me get this 100% clear, you can actually read with your own eyes by the side of the AGP slot that it is written in white text Rev. 1.1 ???
Can you please write for us the whole line that you can read there ? Thanks !
Can you please also tell us WHEN you received this Rev. 1.1 (MS-6758) 875P Neo Fis2R motherbiard (trying to figure out when Rev. 1.1 became available) ? Thanks !!
Anyone kinows what hardware Rev. 1.1 has that Rev. 1.0 does not ?

  • What is the latest Safari revision for Mac OSX 10.4.11

I have a vintage Mac G3 B/W Desktop PPC, which still operates perfectly.  But, at times Safari 4.1.3. periodically crashes.  Is there a later revision that I can upgrade to?  Software Update says the computer is up to date.

    Niel,
I am sorry it has taken so long for me to respond to  your post, but I have isolated my Safari crashes to my system not accepting some new RAM that I instaled.  You posted that Safari 4.1.3 was the latest version for OSX 10.4.11,Tiger,followed by a statement"Not on a G3 (85970)". What did you mean by this statement and is the 85370 an Apple document number?  I need to update my system information.  My system still is a G3 B/W PPC, but I have upgraded the Processor to a G4, if that makes any difference

  • What is "cell revision" and "hardware revision"?

In my system informations, it says
      Model Information:
      Serial Number:
      Manufacturer:
      Device Name:
      Pack Lot Code:          0
      PCB Lot Code:          0
      Firmware Version:          511
      Hardware Revision:          3
      Cell Revision:          1150
What does the hardware and cell revisions mean?

    Albert,
This " limitation " still exist!  UCSM is for B series servers, if by any chance you are trying to know if UCSM can only be used in C series servers, I need to say that C series servers have their own software and it is called CIMC.
In the other hand, C series servers can still be integrated with UCSM and their corresponding fabrics.
Look for "C series integration" and you will find how to use C series servers with UCSM but definitely there is no way to just have your C series running UCSM without Fabric Interconnects.

  • MSI 7220 Diamond Plus - latest board revision?

    Hi,
I am wondering about the latest board revision of the 7220. Today it is 1.0 on the German MSI website while it was 1.1 the whole time until yesterday. On other MSI websites there is no revision statement at all.
Is there anybody having a Diamond Plus with revision 1.1 or was it just a mistake on the German site?
    Thanks!

    OI,
As you can see from my sig i have a similar set up.  I use antec PSU. The issues your talking about are Likely due to a combination of things not Just one.
First of all are you setting your nvid drivers to the game you are using instead of global settings.
Also what are your amp ratings on your PSU.
Also what are running in your back ground.  How many processes?
Have you defragged that drive since your last install?
    Have you run dxdiag?
are you using the latest dx version?  One came out just recently.
I appreciate all the feedback guys, and as far as these questions, I have tried on 2 clean installs (winxp pro, and winxp x64), and have the same problem.  Nothing else running whatsoever, everything updated, etc.  It's got to be a hardware issue, and since it's a graphics problem that I've experienced with 2 cards, you guys must be right, it must not be getting enough power.  I chose this PSU because Tom's Hardware used it in their test setup with this board (didn't realize it was such a sensative issue).  I'll keep messing with it for another day or so.  I'll be quite happy if it's just the PSU and I don't have to send the mobo in for replacement.
    Thanks again

  • I have an older iMac G5 OSX 10.4.11      What is the latest version of Safari available for this machine?

I have an older iMac G5  OSX 10.4.11.   I currently have Safari 4.1.3 and I am being told by some of the web sites I use that they no longer support that version of Safari. What is the latest update I can get and how?

TenFourFox -- It's a port of the latest FireFox to run on older hardware and software.

  • What is the latest MAC OSX that my Macbook 2,1 can support?

What is the latest MAC OSX that my Macbook 2,1 can support?  It came with 10.4.11Lion.
I am upgrading my harddrive and would love to install the most current OS that I possibly can.
I also have a Macbook 3,1 with OSX 10.5.8 Leopard that I want to do the same with.  If they can both run the same OSX that would be helpful too.
    Thanks a MILLION!

Both of those MacBooks can run up to 10.7 Lion. (10.4.11 is Tiger) It's the RAM that you'll need to upgrade.
First you'll need to upgrade to 10.6 Snow Leopard.  The 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD is in the Apple online store. You can get it for $19.99. After you’ve installed that then download the 10.6.8 combo updater to finish it off. http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 You will need to be running 10.6.8 to access the App Store to order Lion, http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    System Requirements for 10.6:
Mac computer with an Intel processor
    1GB of memory
    5GB of available disk space
    DVD drive for installation
Some features require a compatible internet service provider: fees may apply.
You can put two 2gb RAM sticks in your model 2,1 but it can only use 3,3gb. This is a hardware limitation and cannot be changed.
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3_GB_barrier
    http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/macbook_pro/faq/macbook-pro-core-2-duo-3-g b-memory-limitation-details.html
OWC tests have found that there is a slight speed increase with having two 2gb sticks in rather than one 1gb and one 2gb. Your model is in the gray lines at the bottom of the graph. http://eshop.macsales.com/shop/Memory_Benchmark/Apple_MacBook/
You can upgrade from 10.4 straight to 10.6 with no problems as long as you have at least 1gb of RAM. Any program that runs under 10.4 should run under10.6. See this list for third party programs compatibility with 10.6: http://snowleopard.wikidot.com/  You might have to upgrade some drivers for printers, etc.... And you will have to install Rosetta if you have any Power PC applications
    http://www.macobserver.com/tmo/article/snow_leopard_installing_rosetta/
I recently upgraded an older MacBook (Early 2006 model 1,1) straight from 10.4 to 10.6.
Once you are at 10.6.8 Lion is still available from Apple. You will have to call Apple Customer Care 1-800-692-7753 or 1-800-676-2775. to purchase it. Then within 3 days you will get an email with a code which you can use to download Lion from the App Store. Or go to http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion and purchase it there. The price is $19.99.
You must have at least a Late 2006 model 2,1 MacBook.
Lion will require at least 2gb of RAM but really needs 4gb to run smoothly.
As for third party programs see this list for compatibility with 10.7 http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
Also Lion doesn't run any Power PC programs. To see if you have any Power PC programs go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up select Applications under Software. Then look under Kind to see if any of your applications are listed as Power PC. Universal and Intel will run under Lion.
Before Mac switched to Intel processors in 2006 they used Power PC processors from 1994 to 2005. Power PC 601 through 604, G3, G4 and G5. Applications written for the Power PC processors need the application called Rosetta to run on Intel processors. This was part of the Operating System in 10.4 and 10.5 but was an optional install in 10.6. With 10.7 Lion Apple dropped all support for Power PC applications.

  • What is the latest Mac OS X that I can run on my 2.33 GHZ Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro?

My MBP was running the fan almost constantly and otherwise acting odd so I decided to just refresh the installation from scratch. At that time I was running Lion 10.7.5. Before rebuilding everything with that version I want to make sure running Lion on this machine isn't contributing to my issue.
What is the latest Mac OS X that I can run on my 2.33 GHZ Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro?
I have every OS release since the original purchase so I can rebuild on the one that's most stable on this laptop.

You can run Mt. Lion if you so wish:
    http://www.apple.com/osx/specs/
If you want the most efficient OS, I would suggest Snow Leopard.
However I suggest doing some investigation prior to installing a new OS.  First do a SMC reset:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3964
Also run an Apple Hardware Test.  Use the #2 disk on your original install disk.
If there is no improvement, post back.
    Ciao.

  • What is the latest OS you can update to if you have safari 5?

what is then latest OS i can update my macbook to.  i have OS 10.6.8 at present.

It's determined by the computer's hardware and not the installed Safari version. Open the Mac App Store and try downloading Mavericks. If you get told it's incompatible, choose About this Mac from the Apple menu, check if the computer has at least a Xeon or Core 2 Duo(not Core Duo) CPU and 2GB of RAM, and if it does, click here and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Back up your data before upgrading. Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC programs such as versions of Microsoft Office prior to 2008.

  • I have a Power Mac G4 1.25 Ghz 1 GIG Ram, what is the latest OS X I can run?

I have a Power Mac G4 1.25 Ghz 1 GIG Ram, what is the latest OS X I can run?  I am currently running Jaquar.  Where can you obtain older versions of OS X?

Actually you can run up to Leopard 10.5. It requires a G4 867mHz processor so you are comforatbly over the minimum specs.
That said, I offer two caveats regarding Leopard that may make Tiger 10.4 more appealing:
    1) Leopard may want more than 1G RAM. With currently available modules, you can take your Max RAM to 2GB. You can install up to 2GB RAM.
    2) If you don't have a video card that supports Core Image, things can be choppy. My 1.25 G4 is a tad sluggish with Leo because I have the original ATI Radeon 9000 64MB VRAM vid card. If you have a Redeon 9600 or higher, you likely have Core Image Support. Use System Profiler to Identify your exact video card. SP is in Applications > Utilities. Select "Graphics/Displays" from SP's "Contents" pane on the left to view the specs of your card in the main pane. It wil tell you if Core Image is supported.
If you can get Leo running fine, it's better in that many programs no longer support 10.4.
Looks like yo uare in the Continental US. Call Apple at 800-MY-APPLE and ask for an operating system specialist. Tell them you need 10.5 to support new hardware. I bought that way in March, and it sounded like they wre going to keep Leo in stock for a whie because of the larger number of olders Macs that can;t run Snow Leopard or Lion.
Be very, very careful of Mac OS software on auction sites. I've seen too many that were improperly described and would not work. Likewise the gray Leopard install disk that came packed with another Mac model won't work.
I just checked--OWC does not list any Apple System software at this time.

  • What is the latest, older model iMac that has a DVI port. I do not want a Mini-Display Port

I want to use an iMac for my seminar. My projector only accepts VGA connections. I currently use my MacBook Pro using a cable that has DVI Male on one end and VGA Male on the other.  I can't get a Mini-Display to VGA adapter.
What is the latest, older iMac that I can buy that has a DVI-D output? All the new models at the Apple Store have Mini-Display ports only.
    Thank you.
    www.ImagineThatToo.Org

The Early 2008 iMacs were the last models with DVI output. They have a mini-DVI port.
However, Apple sells mini-DisplayPort to VGA adapters, as do 3rd party developers.

I have a 2007 (Imac7,1) running Snow Leopard (10.6.8).  What is the latest OX I can upgrade to?  I want to get t the Cloud and I can't

Minimum requirements for iCloud is v10.7.5 Lion.
See if your Mac can run Lion >  OS X Lion - Technical Specifications
You can purchase Lion here > OS X Lion (10.7) - Apple Store (U.S.)
After the purchase Apple will send you an email notification with a redemption code you can use at the App Store to downlaod Lion.
BEFORE you do that, see if your Mac can Mavericks  >  OS X Mavericks: System Requirements
If so, you don't need to purchase Lion.
You can download Mavericks from the App Store for free.

Mac OS X 10.5.8. You'll likely find it more cost-effective to buy a secondhand Intel Mac.
