What does BLOCKED mean? I can connect to the DB just fine.

1.It is known issue with Oracle 10g. even you change statis it will not resolve our porblem.>>>>ORA-12528.

Well, DUH to me -- of course it does! And once again, the message was to update Adobe Flash. Problem: what I got when I did that was not, repeat not, the most recent, but 11.3; after some more diddlefussin' I now have 11.4, and problem is solved. Thank you.

I run the following package in sql developer but always come out " anonymous block completed"

Oracle assigned the text message "+ORA-0000: normal, successful completion+" to that code.
Many clients will however use a tad more meaningful messages. If the call was to create a table, the client can display "+Table created+" as the response message. Or "+Table altered+" for an alter table statement.

To roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the installer from here, uninstall iTunes. Probably best to also remove other suppporting software, e.g. Apple Application Support, Apple Mobile Device Support & Bonjour. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.

What ports are blocked with Homefusion

I am trying to figure out what ports are blocked on the homefusion service.

There is no official list of blocked ports for HomeFusion or any of the other VZW products. All products are treated the same way. The NAT firewall on VZWs new LTE network is responsible for blocking internet communication as well as hiding public IP Addresses. No manual configuration of the devices themselves will allow you to work around the issue. In truth it would be easier to create a list of the allowed ports but we don't have one of those either.
A rule of thumb is that you should assume any custom or unusual ports are blocked. Even the less popular mainstream ports are blocked some times. Only the major mainstream public ports are normally available. You have to test out your applications to know for sure if they work. If you have a laptop then stop by a VZW store and use one of their devices to test if it works before you buy.
Also, anything depending on Public IP Addresses is broken on the new LTE network. Some common examples are VOIP phones, Xbox hosting, IP security cameras, etc. If you need remote access to your local network then forget about it.
The work around to blocked ports and Public IPs are as follows:
1. Setup a VPN to connect to a network where the ports are open
2. Purchase a static IP Address from VZW for $500.00
3. Use a different ISP
VZW does not make exceptions for port blocking. You have to work around them or get by without them.

I just installed Forms Developer, and after it was done it gave me a list of actions that needed to be done. All of the actions are similar to the one below (instruct me to use my web listener). What is a web listener, and how to I use it?

a Web listener is another name for a web server, which is the process that listens for and responds to requests end users make with their Web browsers. The Web listener is responsible for servicing requests from the clients - typically this is in the form of a request for a HTML page, or in some cases, it may be to request for an application, in which case, the HTML is generated dynamically by code running on the server machine.
The Web listener uses a protocol (a series of known commands used to convey instructions and information) called HTTP, (hypertext transport protocol) to communicate with the clients. The Web browsers used by the clients also use HTTP, so they can send and receive messages to the Web listener.
In the Oracle9iAS world, the web listener is the Oracle HTTP Server, powered by Apache. It provides a process that understands HTTP and can receive/respond to client requests. In the forms portion of 9iAS, the web listener is used to launch the Forms Web Applet, by providing a HTML page to the browser that contains information on how the browser should access the forms server machine.

What setting is blocking safari from downloading iTunes on my iPad 4?

iTunes is already included in the iOS software so you already have it on your iPad.
You can't download the Application using Safari nor can you delete the App from your iPad.
Can you verify that you have it enabled in your settings?

Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot this issue:
No sound through stereo headset
Inspect the headset jack for debris and clean if necessary.
Connect the headset and make sure the connector is pushed in all the way.
Check the volume setting. Adjust the volume by pressing the volume up and down button on the left side of the iPhone.
If you are trying to listen to music and cannot hear any audio, make sure that the music on iPhone is not paused. Try squeezing the headset microphone to resume playback. Additionally, from the Home screen you can choose iPod > Now Playing, then tap Play.
Make sure the latest version of iTunes is installed on the computer that you are syncing the iPhone with (songs purchased from the iTunes Store using earlier versions of iTunes won't play).
Try another Apple headset (some third-party headsets require an adapter to be used with original iPhone).
Try a different song or video.
Check to see if the iPhone alert sounds or other iPhone sound effects exhibit the same audio issues.
Disconnect the headset from the iPhone and see if sound comes from the built-in speaker.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

I have heard that 1.4 supports non blocking IO, and that this is greath for servers. What is it, how does it work and why is it so good?

I could be wrong - but if they have not yet done so
a good optimization would be to rearrange the
select list - such that the sockets that have
an event appears at the top of the list.
This way - when the select completes - it tells
you that there are - say 2 - active events - you
would then just read the first two channels on
the select list.From the API javadoc:
The selected-key set is the set of keys such that each key's channel was detected to be ready for at least one of the operations identified in the key's interest set during a prior selection operation. This set is returned by the selectedKeys method. The selected-key set is always a subset of the key set.
ie- select and iterate. No polling involved.
They just completed the java EventListener model
for the GUI. It would have been simple and clean
to implement a similar model for io. You have
the io channel - you would just attach an event
listener to it much like you would do for a control.
When an io finishes on a channel, you would be
told immediately the channel that the io completed
and what event occured - read, write etc.
Now you could have a million sockets
( if ever unix could support that many file
discriptors )
and you when an io completes no need to poll
a bunch of idle sockets.Question: What thread would this run in?
* Does it run in the network layer? How many concurrent event notifications can the network layer at any one time? Is it likely it would be an EventQueue-esque single thread?
* Does it spawn a new thread for each event? This would certainly yield worse results than spawning a new thread for each socket, since each socket would generate a vast number of events.
* Does it have a thread pool to deal with the events? Then you would be using exactly the same model as java.nio's Selector.

an event model - IO completion ports. It is far more

If there were such an initiative for NT-style asynchronous IO, and this was proven to be more efficient, then I imagine it will be much more likely to be integrated with the language.
If it isn't, you could still use the community-based implementation, as you could with the nbio package before 1.4 was released.

What is default database listener port number

Running emca script requested for database listener port number. Where do I get this information from.

If the port number is not specified in listener.ora,
you may get different values with 10gR1 such as 1509,
1525, 1525 or 1531 (on Windows XP SP2).
I guess this depends also on whether the TCP/IP port
1521 is really released or notI have seen what you have described above when port 1521 was in use by another process. If the port is not in use, I have not seen any thing other then 1521 assigned when the listener was created either during installation or afterwards using Net Assistant.
