What is a good iPad 2 case, around $30.

This Case has to be very durable. Has to with stand being dropped as much as possible. It also has to protect the screen. Any suggestions?

We use this one:
http://www.amazon.com/Cyber-Acoustics-Leather-Cover-IC-1002BK/dp/B004X69896/ref= sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1370622011&sr=8-2&keywords=cyber+acoustics+ipad+case
It has rubber bumpers on the corners that protect it from drops. The screen is exposed when the flap is open, but protects the screen when the flap is closed. We use these cases in our school district for students and staff and its been great.
Hope this helps!

Does any one have any recomendations foran ipad mini cases?

I agree with the earlier post, you gotta go with the Otterbox Case. I purchased this case for my IPad Mini. It is a perfect fit and does not add much weight at all. It is great protection and a necessity to have this for the IPAD Mini. The stand is nice for both upright and side display of the iPad Mini on my desk.

I'm what you consider a gadget junkie always trying out new products and since the introduction to tablets (iPad's) I've been searching for that perfect case as well. I've owned the clamcase (keys broke three months from purchase date and yes, just after the warranty expired), hard shell, soft shell, leather cases, and the Otterbox Defender case for the iPad2. The previous edition I was not as impressed with. The silicon was a bit loose and felt too bulky but it did do it's job twice, when I dropped it on concrete. I just purchased the iPad Mini and shopping for a case, a young man sold me this otter box that was his display. This case rocks!!! The silicon wraps tightly around the plastic case which feels like one entire piece. It does add to the weight of the mini but definitely better than the larger version, not to mention, the peace of mind knowing it's protected. Also, the rubber port covers for the plug, earphones actually stay in place when pushed in.
A brief word about some of the AMAZING features of this case... The screen protector is built in to the top part of the case, and although I had trepidation about that initially, my fears were allayed; the screen sits on the screen directly and there is no space between the screen and the protector. The removable cover doubles as a stand in several positions, and feels like Cole Hamels could throw a fastball at it and it would still protect the screen. Also, you can use it on the front or the back so if you're throwing your mini in a backpack or luggage, you can do it without fear.
Obviously there's not too much to say about this case that hasn't already been said. It's tough, it's stylish and it's functional. But that should be no surprise... OtterBox is renowned for their cases by now. All I can recommend is this: to those who are wondering whether it is worth the money, imagine what it will be like to take your iPad mini out of the OtterBox in a year and have it look exactly the same as the day you bought it. No scratches, no scuffs, cracks.
It's just an amazing case, well worth money for the peace of mind it brings.

  • What's a good iPod travel case/pouch?

I just bought a 20GB iPod and I need a travel case/pouch to carry it around in. Does anyone have suggestions on a good one?

Wait, so you had the Mareware, lost it, bought an iSkin, then found the Mareware, and now have both? I get confused.
    But to answer the question:
If you want to carry accessories, then a travel bag is needed.
As the Apple Store links time out, i cannot link directly, but click here:
    http://www.apple.com/store
In the search box, type 'ipod travel'. You will see a nice Incase bag, and a Monster one a little further down. Rather expensive for what they are though.

  • What is the best iPad air case?

Just got my new ipad and have been trying to find a decent case/cover for it.  I used to have a belkin tri-fold cover/case for my ipad 3 and that did the job.  With the air being so thin and light i dont want to beef it up too much with a cover.
Had been looking at the Logitech protective folio case - but read that it's very heavy.
    Any suggestions or recommendations?????????

I got the Smart Cover (front side only) and now I'm looking for something to protect the back side. I didn't purchase the Smart Case because it's too expensive. I don't want to add thickness to it either. I just need something to protect the device while I'm on the go. This sleeve looks great:
    http://goincase.com/shop/incase-neoprene-pro-sleeve-for-ipad
LivingSocial has a 50% discount coupon. Head over to slickdeals. Search for incase for iPad. That's how I got mine. I'm about to get one tonight.
    EDIT:
I just read a response from Kappy after posting my reply. I'm new here and honestly don't know this forum rules. If my post violates the rule... mods, feel free to delete my reply in this thread.

  • I use Photoshop Elements on my PC.  What is a good IPad app to achieve the same organization tree that I have in Elements?

I use Windows 7 on my PC.  I also use Photoshop Elements 11.  I very much like the organization tree in Photoshop and would like to find an app for my IPad 4 that would allow me that same organization.  I DON'T want to spend $79.99!  I'm wanting to keep this as simple and as inexpensive as possible. Any suggestions?

Adobe has several apps available in the apps store are different price point and levels of functionality. PS Touch is pretty feature rich and runs about $ 9.99 (USD) or so. None of them, however, are likely to help with the "organizational tree" - frankly not sure what you mean by that, but iOS does not have the same exposed folder structure that your windows machine has. An available flders would be a function of the App, not iOS.

  • What are some good Iphone 5 cases?

I currently have an otterbox case which im getting tired of the bulkyness of it. I tried the lifeproof case and didnt like that either because it made the sound on my iphone all muffled. Does anyone know of any other good cases? my main concern is durability and a built in screen protector if possible. If not how are the screen protectors people put on themselves?

I would use YouTube for this... there are too many questions to discuss here.
Do you want waterproof?  Ruggedness?  Slimness? Screen protector?...

  • What is the best slim/light iPad 3 case under $40?

Is anyone else OCD about buying the perfect case for the ipad 3?  I had an Apple Smart Cover but I don't think it provdies enough protection and functinality for the price so I'm selling it.
Anyway, what is the best iPad 3 case with a slim and light design under $40?

I know you said under $40.00 but I just thought I'd share it anyways...I got the Targus Slim case usually go for $50.00 but if you shop around online, you can get it at about $42 to $46.00 the cheapest.
The case is beautifully made, slim and fantastic material (not cheap looking ). Though I must say that I had trouble with this case at first since Targus released the case without knowing that iPad had change the position of the new iPads magnets which a lot of cases out there is having same problem with the auto on and off feature when you open and close the cover but fear not since Targus has great customer service, when I called them and explained the problem, they honestly admit that a lot of people are experiencing the same and sent me a new corrected case and told me too that I don't have to send them the first one I got for a replacement....what a service.
Here's the link of the product....

  • Having trouble deciding on an iPad 2 case

So I'm having a hard time choosing what. iPad 2 case to get. I don't want the smart cover because I think I need something to cover the back to.I know could get a smart cover with compatible back shell but that gets pretty pricey and I don't know if that's the best idea. One of the main reasons I want a case is to have a stand so that's a must. I want something that's thin sleek and light but also offers enough protection that if I dropped it while I was holding it or it fell off a table or something it wouldn't break. The speck fit folio looks good but i think that little band that holds the top closed would break easy. Also if you have a case on your iPad and you are say playing a game holding it in your hands it seem like it would get really annoying to have to hold the frot cover of the case to the back with your fingers while your holding the case. Is there any good cases that have a solution to that or do people find that isnt really a problem? Anyway, looking for a good iPad 2 case and need some suggestions thanks!

This is a real dilema and I don't see any good solution. For real protection the case should be substantial. However, with no case the iPad 2 is very light and wonderful to hold in your hand. I have found that the case I bought makes it too bulky and kind of wreck's the iPod's light design. That said, I use the case to protect it when lugging around but I find myself taking It out of the case to actually use it.
The magnetic off/on feature is another thing to consider. The Apple cover does it beautifully. My case has the magnets but tends to move around, despite an elastic band, turning on and off the iPad as I am carrying it. If anyone else knows of a case where the magnets work as well as the Apple version I would be interested.
I am thinking the Apple solution is the best I have seen. What you are really worried about is the screen cracking and the Apple cover does protect from that and still keeps the design light. The ability to keep the device always on, yet asleep, is a big plus as well.

  • What is the difference between the new and old ipad mini case?

I was wondering what the difference is between the old ipad mini case and the new one which came out with the ipad mini with retina display?

I just bought an iPad Mini case for my iPad Mini with Retina Display, and it DOES NOT FIT...  This particular case has a hard plastic cradle for the iPad to fit into and it does not wrap around the edges enough to hold it in...  I am shocked at how snug these cases will fit, even though there is only a 0.01" difference in thickness...  So again, I repeat, an iPad Mini with Retina Display WILL NOT FIT into the first gen iPad Mini case!

Do you mean that the iPad is on the activation screen ? If it is then does it not show the first letter of your email address and the provider e.g. similar to :
If that is what you are seeing then you don't remember any email account that you had starting with that letter with that provider ? If not then do you know if you have any of the account's downloads in your computer's iTunes library : Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name ?
Or see if you can find it via http://appleid.apple.com : Apple ID: How to find your Apple ID
If you cant remember or find your id then you won't be able to use your iPad

Keep in mind >  How Mac OS X and iOS report storage capacity
Actual capacity on a 16GB iPad is approximately 13.82GB.
Video files can take up space fast not including other data such as Mail, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, Music, Notes, Apps, and Bookmarks so you may want to keep that in mind before you select the 16GB.

  • What is a good wireless speaker for ipads

What is a good, moderate priced wireless speaker for the ipad2?

The speaker I have—and love—isn't moderately priced. It's the Bose Soundlink Wireless Mobile (Bluetooth) speaker:
    http://store.apple.com/us_edu_383719/product/H6806VC/A/bose-soundlink-wireless-m obile-speaker?
I love the sound quality, the form factor, the ease of use—everything about it. It's about $300 if you forgo the fancy covers.
If I were going to buy another speaker that really is moderately priced, the one I'd get is the Soundfreaq Sound Kick SFQ-04, and it's about $100. Here's a link to the review at iLounge, which is the place to go to read reviews about virtually every portable speaker on the market:
    http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/reviews/entry/soundfreaq-sound-kick-sfq-04/
Having a wireless speaker with my iPad 2 and all my music on iCloud is bliss. Life is much simpler and I am more productive.
