CP5.5: Play CBT in Overhead Projector - What's a Good Slide Size?

We are in the process of converting all of our PPT training into CBTs using CP5.5.
I tried 1024 x 768 for the slide size but it was too large on the overhead projector.
What slide size should I aim for so that it fits on the screen?

I believe that an overhead projector typically assumes 1024x768. I use dual overheads at the church where I'm a media jockey and that's the size those use. I might imagine that's quite common as they were just installed last January.
However, Captivate tosses a wrinkle in the mix by adding another number of pixels to the height. This is done in order to make room for a playback control below the main part of the movie. Additionally, when you are using a browser to present the Captivate movie, you also need to account for the area reserved for the right scrollbar. Not only that, but again in a browser you also need to subtract pixels to account for the Menu bar, toolbars and Status bar.
How exactly are you presenting the Captivate?

What is a good video Camera to purchase?

I have been posting and reading this forum for a long time.
I was wondering if anyone has any good insight on buying a video camera for around $600-$700.
I teach a video editing class and I've got about $2800 to spend on video cameras. However, I need more quantity over quality at this point. I've got the classic case of too many students and too few cameras.
Unfortunately I know less about cameras and more about video editing.
Basically I'm looking for the best bang for the dollar. Standard Def MiniDV- is fine and so is interlaced. But if i could get Hi-Def Progressive... that would be cool.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not a Time Capsule since you are asking in this forum area.
A firewire 800 drive plugged into your imac though will give you loads of space.. just choose a big enough drive.
And Time Machine can then use the TC properly and back up your files from the external drive to the TC.. if you want one. Since the iMac is stationary.. it is not like a laptop where the issue is more difficult to figure out. Speed on firewire is better than USB by a good margin,, even FW400 is faster than USB in real world tests.

I am bootcamping because I want to play games. I want to play games on the windows partition and work on the mac partition but I am unsure of the partition sizes I should use.

No less than 50GB with 60-80GB.
No idea how big the games will be and then there are the benchmark tools and such but it takes 10-12GB of free space on top of Windows; page and hibernation also eat up 8GB or more.
And be sure to leave 25-30% free on the Mac side.

What is minimum runtime engine size when installed on XP embedded OS

I hope to build move an existing Labview 8.6 application to a Windows XP embedded machine and would like to know if their are any tools available to help minimize the hard disk memory requirement, specifically can the runtime engine installation be micro managed so that absolutely nothing that is not required by the application is installed?
If not, is their some way to install the runtime engine and then remove unused items, for instance one .dll file at a time?

I believe NI does not officially support running LV apps on XPe, but if you search, you should find some references to it. In any case, I doubt you will find anything relating to the size of the RTE. You can probably safely remove some of the support files (e.g. language files, which take up some space), but I've never done it and it isn't necessarily safe.
In older versions, you could simply use all the files from the RTE folder if you didn't require any drivers, but I believe that doesn't work since ~8.0.

I am in a school environment and some apps or web based programs are needing flash to work properly. What is the solution from Apple on running programs on your ipad that require Adobe Flash.

That is a good solution since Adobe continues to support and update Flash for most laptop operating systems.

Albums fading and pausing when purchased on iPad off of iTunes.

I just purchased an album off of iTunes on my iPad. First off the album is in a completely random order on my iPad, song 12 then song 1 then song 5, etc. As well, when I play the album the songs fade down, then pause for minutes at a time then they will fade in and start playing again. Has anyone else experienced this? Or have a explanation/solution to my problem?

The same exact thing is happening to me (but I have Snow Leopard). My music is on a USB external hard drive (1TB MyBook) and with almost every song I try to skip, it hangs for upwards of 5 seconds. This is especially annoying because I shuffle my music quite often and I tend to skip over many songs before I find one I want to listen to; and, it happens both when the music is paused and playing.
This hanging has never happened to this extent before upgrading to iTunes 9.0. If there is not a fix to this how can I go about downgrading to iTunes 8.0?

I've bought a ton of back covers. It's been hard trying to find the right one. I've settled on two really good ones though:
Caudabe Shell: This one's my daily driver, so to speak. I've got the frost version and it looks really good and has held up really well. Price is very reasonable too.
Switcheasy Cover Buddy: I like this one as well. Only thing is that they don't seem to have a frost version. They just have opaque colors, which I'm not a huge fan of. This is also a little bit more expensive than the Caudabe cover.

I purchase movies from Apple TV and from my iPad. I don't want them to automataically download to my computer because I have limited space on my hard drive. I see in preferences you can choose to automatically download music, books and apps (or not). I can't find a way to stop movies from automatically downloading.

However you should still be downloading your purchases at some point for local backups. iTunes in the Cloud is not a backup service, and if the copyright owners of the content choose to remove it from the iTunes Store it will disappear from your purchase history and you will no longer have access to it. I'm creating a interactive eBook with pages being designed in Edge Animate. As of revision 28 of the DPS viewer, the 20px iOS status bar will always be displayed. As a result, I set my article size and folio size (landscape only) to be 1024 x 748. However, the in the viewer there is a 20px vertical black line that overlaps the far right edge of my article. How do I fix this? What is the correct folio size and article size when targeting landscape iPads?

Not at all, but I think you mean is a cellular data plan required and the answer to that is no as well.
If you buy a 3G or 4G iPad and do not want to activate a cellular data plan, you do not have to do so. You can connect to the Internet via WiFi which all iPads can do.
If you do not have WiFi at home, you will be very limited in what you can do on the iPad without it.
