I received this for the first time today when I started my IMac? Does anyone know what this is?

UPDATE: The uninstaller ("uninstall.command") didn't work for me. However, after doing a little more seaching I found a couple mentions of this same issue on a handful of other boards. The threads were all in Spanish, but thanks to Google Translate I was able to figure out what they were talking about -- and then track down all of the associated files that need to be removed by hand.
As soon as I moved the following 5 files to the trash, the Console errors stopped:

Do you have a link to the bundled version you're referring to?
Bundled does not mean limited unless they use the words Lite or Express or similar. Bundled just means the hardware manufacturer has a commercial arrangement with Adobe to include a copy of the full software with the hardware product for no extra cost to the end user.

The sparse bundle is the container your backups are stored in (when made over a network).

What do the Score Bundles cost ? (Resource Central) SB CS5

I am considering buying Soundbooth CS5 and understand that I can purchase additional royal free music scores by using Resource Central within SB. What do these bundles typically cost? Is there a link I can go to see what is offered before I buy SB? I called Adobe and after speaking with 3 different representatives, none could tell me prices or what is available.

Are you looking at the SCORES panel in Soundbooth, or the SCORES section within Resource Central? Soundbooth itself ships with 2 scores installed. The remaining scores are downloaded via Resource Central, which has separate tabs for Sound Effects, Scores, and News. Under the Scores tab, there should be a dropdown to select different genre's, each of which should contain several scores for preview and download.

What is a sparse bundle?

I purchased the AirPort Time Capsule and a new iMac. I also have 2 old MacBooks (the white ones) that are about 8 years old with old operating systems. I created a network using the Airport Time Capsule, and now I am trying to access the content from the backup of one of the old MacBooks using the new iMac. I thought I could access my photos and documents and copy them to my new computer. I see something called Michael Long’s MacBook_001ff3d72d99.sparsebundle. What is that and how do I access the content in it?

OUI claims I'm running

I've upgraded yesterday night and all went well !
Except that the precheck detected that my repository db's aq_tm_processes was still unset.
I must have changed the current value only at install time (now it's also in the spfile).
 
The good thing is that you can run the upgrade script a second time and that it detects the already successfully executed steps.
So basically found the mrua its shrubbery ;-)

Hi. I'm curious about something. If I run either of these commands from the command-line:
softwareupdate --list
pkgutil --pkgs
I get several lines referring to packages in /Library/Receipts that say:
PackageKit: * Missing bundle identifier
So, my questions (I want to understand what's happening):
What is PackageKit?
What is a "missing bundle identifier", how does the bundle identifier end up missing, and what to do about it?

I need to know .. just what the file,"SCLoginPlugin.bundle", is.
(i.e. its basic significance.)
Main route to the file :
"System", "Library", "Core Services", "SecurityAgentPlugins".... :
Here's why - basically.
(Pretty sure, due to a mix-up associated with an "external" HD .. connection.)
With recognizing that I had been unable to download files - in general, ..
(I gather in a lot of simple image-data files - meteorologically related. So, quick "draw and drop". / - routinely.)
.. —> with checking to see, as to "why", and - with this .. recognizing further, that my HD was apparently .. "showing up as being" @ Full, ..
(More incidentally: At the time, I had known .. that I had had approximately 15 or so GB of space left still available to me. / This, with a 60GB capacity - total.)
.... —> I found this file's size, to be "384 .." GB

Hello Richard,
Digging around, apparently "SCLoginPlugin.bundle" is a login facility for (primarily US government) staff to access their network using smartcard technology.
I have no idea why this bundle, normally only a couple of Mb in size, has bloated out to be 300+ GB on your computer. Most peculiar!
The (presumably government) meteorologically site where you access these image-data files, is somehow playing loose with this file.
Perhaps check your console logs while at this site to see some indication of a memory leak occurring, such as errors being reported or perhaps the same line being repeated endlessly.
Incidentally, as it is a bundle, if you control click on it, and select Show Package Contents, you will see it is a folder that contains other folders and files within it.
So, if you do not use smartcard technology to access this site, then:
a) delete the bundle, or better,
b) delete the bloated file within that bundle.
If you want it back, after emptying the trash, you could reinstall the whole bundle again from your 10.3 install disk using Pacifist, but from what I understand it is not essential for the normal operation for your Mac if you are not accessing sites using smartcards.

What is PlugPlug.bundle?

Curious if anyone knows what this plug-in bundle is, or does.
Is it installed with CS4 and might it contain all the indigenous plug ins?

.bundle are OSX code packages and the name would suggest that it is indeed part of the AI API host. If it's missing, then re-install.

Software Bundled with iBook GB OS 10.3.4

I'm working on reinstalling the OS on an iBook G4 (1.07 GHz PPC). The computer was not originally mine, so I'm not sure what additional software came bundled. As far as I can tell, it's this model. When I reinstalled with original Software Install DVDs, apparently not all the additional software was installed, and I can't find it. Specifically, I'm looking for AppleWorks, which is listed at the above link as being included with all models. The original user did have it installed, so it must be somewhere.
I only realized the software was missing after updating to 10.3.9. Which makes me wonder whether I need to have installed the software before updating to be able to access it at all.
When I open "Programme & Classic Support" on DVD 1 (German), it doesn't allow any form of custom installation, although the ReadMe suggests it should.
Should there be another disc included that I am unaware of? Any ideas about where the software might be? Thanks.

Solved the problem. It turns out there are two installers for installing software using "Programme & Classic Support". The first installer looks just like the one for installing the OS off the DVD, but it doesn't give you options for the choice of programs. But clicking install opens another installer that lets you choose what to install. Didn't get to pick the language, though, which apparently you should be able to do. It installed German whereas the OS was installed in Spanish.
