What is "administrator's password?" Is it simply the password I use to access my Mac after turning it on following a "shut down?"

Am sole owner of a Mac OS X 10.6.8 (desktop) and am simply trying to install updated Adobe Flash Player after viewing recent "blocked plug-in" notice for all attempts to view YouTube videos. Was about to type in the administrator's password as I described. Honestly don't know if my ownership, by definition, gives me administrator privileges. Any advice and/or am I worrying needlessly?

Starts up like the first time you buy a new Mac, but after filling in all that info again, you should have access to the computer and the other Users & files will still be there... give the new User a different name than an existing one.

What Windows OS are you using? Are you networked?
If you are networked, you have to setup your file and print sharing options in order to require password assess. If you are just trying to control specific files from being printed, you can do that, too.
If you are just trying to control the amount of printing off of a single PC with a printer, you could setup different accounts for each user and limit their access.
Some of the commercial printers can have password options, but I do not find any password options for the CM 1410, other than what I provided earlier.
If I have been helpful, a Kudo is always appreciated.

Don't reset your password if it is working everywhere else. Try this first.
Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

The only way I can think of having an "Administrator's Password" on a device is if your company has control of the device. Otherwise there is no such password.

I have installed the SP15 SneakPreview. When i am trying to deploy a webdynpro application into portal from NWDS2.0.15, it is asking for SDM password.
Can anyone please tell me what is the default password, because i dont remember providing any SDM password during the installation.
I tried giving the Portal passwword, but it does not seem to work

You can log in to the Enterprise Manager Database Control with any DBA user. Typically, you should be able to logon as sys or as system. The passwords for these two users where specified by you during the install of the database.
If you can't remember them, you should be able to change them on the command line after a connect as sysdba there.
