What is Apple's mission and vision statement? Where can I find it?

I've thoroughly searched the Apple website for their mission and vision statement. And I have still not found it anywhere. Please help, as I am writing a paper about the organization as a whole.

"Apple is committed to ensuring the highest standards of social responsibility in everything we do. The companies we do business with must provide safe working conditions, treat employees fairly, and use environmentally responsible manufacturing processes wherever Apple products are made. "
"To produce high-quality, low cost, easy to use products that incorporate high technology for the individual. We are proving that high technology does not have to be intimidating for noncomputer experts."

Tim Cook: said this last year during a conference call with investors:
"We believe that we are on the face of the earth to make great products and that's not changing. We are constantly focusing on innovating. We believe in the simple not the complex. We believe that we need to own and control the primary technologies behind the products that we make, and participate only in markets where we can make a significant contribution. We believe in saying no to thousands of projects, so that we can really focus on the few that are truly important and meaningful to us. We believe in deep collaboration and cross-pollination of our groups, which allow us to innovate in a way that others cannot. And frankly, we don't settle for anything less than excellence in every group in the company, and we have the self-honesty to admit when we're wrong and the courage to change. And I think regardless of who is in what job those values are so embedded in this company that Apple will do extremely well." (Source).

    Hi Steve,
the wp-pi 6.0 is shipped within the pi_basis component of the was 6.40 so you don't need to import it to the system any longer.

  • I lost the grey, round shaped rubber placed under the magic trackpad to support clicking. the rubber detached from the trackpad and lost. Where can i find the thing as i am not sure whether apple sell small spare part like this?

i had lost the grey, round shaped rubber placed under my magic trackpad. i think it detached from the trackpad body and lost. where can i get this small spare part as i couldn't find this small spare part in apple store?

Wish I could be more positive but as far as I can see, the solution is to make something for yourself and tape it on.  It appears they do not supply a proper replacement and Ifixit, the usual people say they don't have them.
Here is a company that supply rubber feet.   It may be worth contacting them and asking if they have something that will do the job.

  • Lost "purchased on" playlist during io5 update. Can it be recovered and if so where can i find it?

My daughter updated her itouch for the first time in months [I've been telling her to do it regularly]. After the io5 upgrade completed, she discovered that her touch, and the itunes library, does not show the playlist "Purchased on E's itouch". Is there any way to get it back?

Im having the same issues-though I've been updating the software regularly, Now that I've updated my 3rd generation iTouch, I can't play any of my purchased items nor will they even show up on my ipod anymore!
I have no idea what to do with this situation-any help/ideas would be much appreciated!

  • Access and activity logs, where can I find them?

does Time Capsule keep access logs/activity logs going back at least a week?
and if so how do I access them?
I use mine for creating my WiFi network and backing up, but I want to check what devices have been on my TC in the last 7days and has it been accessed from something it shouldnt.
opened Airport Utility 5.6 /my TC/ Advanced/ Logs and Statistics  but it only shows info spanning the last 48hours
    TIA

Unfortunately, the logs that you have already accessed in AirPort Utility are the only source of information about activity on your network.

  • Now that I have uploaded Firefox 4 I seem to have lost the option to save and quit. Does it still exist and if so, where can I find it?

Well, there's not much more to say really. The main reason I use Firefox is so that I can leave all my tabs open and come back to them next time I log onto the internet and since I upgraded to Firefox 4 I have not been able to do this. When I close down it just asks me if I am sure I want to close all the tabs - this used to happen if I had inadvertently opened Firefox twice but now it happens even when I haven't. If there isn't a solution I will just go back to using the previous Firefox programme.

Firefox now always stores the old session, and you can access it by going to the History menu and selecting "Restore Previous Session"
If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned back on by changing some preferences.
    # Type '''about:config''' into the location bar and press enter
    # Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
    # Locate the preference '''browser.tabs.warnOnClose''', if its value is set to '''false''', double-click on it to change its value to '''true'''
    # Repeat this for these 3 preferences '''browser.warnOnQuit''', '''browser.warnOnRestart''' and '''browser.showQuitWarning'''
If you always open the last set of tabs, an alternative approach is this:
    # Click the orange Firefox button, then select options to open the options window
    # Go to the General panel
    # Change the setting "When Firefox starts" to "Show my windows and tabs from last time"

  • I updated my ipad to ios5, after that Ipod programs are nowhere to be found like podcast and itunes university, where can i find them?

How can i retrieve my downloaded podcast and itunes university data files using IOS 5?

I don't know about iTunes U files since I don't use them but look for your podcasts in the Music App. Tap on More in the bottom right corner of the app and you can select Podcasts from the resulting menu. I assume that iTunes U would be in there as well.
Video podcasts would still be found in the videos app.

  • Are 69 cent songs still available on iTunes and if so, where can I find them?

So I've been looking on iTunes since mid-december and I haven't been able to find the usual link to the 69 cent songs on iTunes. Have they moved it somewhere else or are they no longer continuing it?

If you have updated your iTunes, go to Store and click Music.  Then click the arrow on the Music button when the cursor is hovered over it.  No. 1 Hits is below the Complete My Album label.  (This is from a MacBook Pro.  Sorry if this didn't answer your question.)

  • Where can i find apples mission statement, values and vision on their website?

where can i find apples mission statement, value and vision on their website?

Don't know if this helps you get what you wish - http://investor.apple.com/faq.cfm?FaqSetID=6
Not every company has such things in explicit public statements or records (there is certainly no requirement for such things).

  • What is apple's mission statement

hi im doing a design technology course and i have to design a exhibition stand for apple and i was asked by my tutor to find out what apples mission statement was for example being enviromently freindly or modern excettera if any one could help me that would be great?

Q: What is Apple's mission statement?
A: Apple ignited the personal computer revolution in the 1970s with the Apple II and reinvented the personal computer in the 1980s with the Macintosh. Today, Apple continues to lead the industry in innovation with its award-winning desktop and notebook computers, OS X operating system, and iLife and professional applications. Apple is also spearheading the digital music revolution with its iPod portable music players and iTunes online music store.

Use the Deauthorize All command documented in this article, or if it isn't an option, the 'contact iTunes Store support' link at the bottom of it.

I do not know my apple administrator username and password. How do I find out what it is? I am trying to download IBM Notes and Domino onto my MacBook Pro and I cannot download the software without verifying my apple administrator username and password.

iOS is only for mobile devices, so:
    Resetting or changing a password:

    For Lion or later:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6022

If it's running Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier, insert a Mac OS X install DVD, restart with the Option key held down, click on it, and use the Reset Password utility.
If it's running Mac OS X 10.7 or newer, restart with the Command and R keys held down, open the Terminal, and use the resetpassword command:
