What is Apple`s Official Twitter Account?

I want to follow Apple (official account) on Twitter. Does anybody know their official account I can search?
Thanks!

Apple doesn't have a Twitter feed that I'm aware of other than the ones for the iTunes Store which I believe are official:

No one here works for Apple nor does Apple visit this message board.  We are all end users like yourself helping each other out.
"Official" Apple "replacement" announcements will be listed on their website and possibly on their Knowledge Base website.
Check the All Programs website too.

  • What is Apple's official line on hand-cut nano-SIMs?

I use local SIM cards whenever I travel and I never pay roaming charges. The downside is that I need to obtain a new SIM card for each new country that I visit.
Whilst many carriers now issue nano-SIMs, there are some who still don't or they make it difficult for prepaid customers. I'm getting a bit fed up with ordering or buying a nano-SIM (which should be 12.30x8.80x0.67mm) but receiving a hand-cut nano-SIM (which is 12.30x8.80x0.76mm), i.e. 13% thicker than it should be. Although 0.76mm-thick SIM cards can be forced into an iPhone 5, they don't go in easily and I've read reports they can get stuck so it wouldn't surprise me if this invalidates the iPhone 5's warranty.
Some examples of offending networks are:
O2 Czech Republic - despite the advice on their web site, many of their shops use SIM-cutters to create a 0.76mm-thick SIM card for prepaid customers.
LycaMobile and Toggle Mobile - one of the fastest growing prepaid MVNOs in many developed countries, with prices very suitable for short-term visitors to a country. If you order a nano-SIM, they send you a hand-cut 0.76mm-thick SIM card.
What is Apple's official line on using hand-cut nano-SIMs? It would be useful to quote a knowledgebase article to the errant carriers.

Apple will support only SIMs that are manufactured in the correct size appropriate for the iPhone model. They will, as Tim said, instruct you to get a valid, correct SIM from your cell carrier should you have any problems with an iPhone that is using a cut-down SIM. And if a cut-down SIM causes damage to the iPhone, that will most likely void the warranty on the iPhone. The warranty statement has terms that exclude coverage for damage resulting from use of other products or caused by the user. So from that standpoint they have an "official position", if you wish to consider it as such.
    Regards.

  • How come apple is incorporating twitter into its computers operating software but the company does not have an official twitter account themselves?

As you all hopefully know, apple has announced their new operating software being released this summer, mountain lion. It states that they are incorporating twitter in to the software to that by a simple click you can upload items to twitter. Same thing goes for the iOS devices. Since apple is doing so much with twitter how come they dont have an official company twitter page?

    The iTunes Store has several:
    http://twitter.com/iTunesTrailers
    http://twitter.com/iTunesMovies
    http://twitter.com/iTunesMusic
    http://twitter.com/iTunesPodcasts
    http://twitter.com/iTunesTV

I am puzzled by this. The laptop doesn't need the Apple ID - but iTunes does. I could be missing something but ....
Why would you not be able to use your existing Apple ID and iTunes account on a new laptop? If you authorized the computer - you should be able to use your existing account - unless you already had 5 computers authorized with the existing ID - and that was why iTunes would not accept the ID. However, I'm sure that you would have received a popup message from iTunes telling you that you had reached the limit.
I just received a new MBP and my daughter did as well. My entire family shares an Apple ID and we had no issues at all with my Apple ID and iTunes on our new computers and I did not have to sign up for a new account. Did you even try the old ID?

    ChrisJ4203,
Thank you for the help.  Every app on my phone was downloaded using my old I-tunes ID.  I just hope that they will re-download under my new ID because I still can't change it on my phone.  In order to change to the new ID it says I have to sign out from the old ID and change to the new one.  My problem is that I don't remember my password to be able to sign out from my old ID.  Then the phone says it can change my password through e-mail and I  agree but I never get an e-mail at my old address or the new one.

  • Hi, My problem is I cannot connect my apple tv to my account, the user name and password are definitely correct, I upgraded the software, reset the device, but no chance. What should I do?

Hi, My problem is I cannot connect my apple tv to my account, the user name and password are definitely correct, I upgraded the software, reset the device, but no chance. What should I do?

    Try this:
Reboot device by pressing both the home button and sleep/wake (power) buttons at the same time for 10-15 seconds until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings  (or for network connection issues 'reset network settings').
(no media or data will be deleted from the device, this will only take a minute).

iTunes Store, App Store, iBooks Store, and Mac App Store account
When you use Apple services, such as the Apple Online Store or registering your product online, you create an Apple ID. You can use the same Apple ID for iTunes, the Mac App Store, iCloud, iMessage, FaceTime, Game Center, and more.
It is recommended to use only one Apple ID.
If you have registered your product or used any Apple services, you should follow this article to use an existing Apple ID with the iTunes Store or Mac App Store.

  • Official Twitter app from BlackBerry

    Hi,
I added a Twitter account through the Accounts page in the Settings. That way, Im shown only the Direct Messages. Unable to find my twitter timeline.
Is there an official Twitter app from BlackBerry for the PlayBooks on the AppWorld. I find that coming preloaded on Z10 smartphones but not on PlayBooks. I am not preferring to download other 3rd party apps. What are the possible risks of sideloading an app? I prefer to download the official app for Playbook from the online store.

There is (on mine) a Twitter Short Cut pre installed on the home screen of the PlayBook.  This however will only allow you to view mobile Twitter. There was a url trick that could change this to full Twitter but Twitter put a stop to this across several platforms apparently for security reasons.  I recommend you download the Origami Browser from BlackBerry World. This will allow you to view the full version of Twitter as though on a pc. Works well for me.

  • I need phone # the boss of the twitter account team

Both of those listed in the subject have failed ot get me back to the service level I had after signing up (with much hassle) for TV to add to my Internet service. I contacted the twitter account aghast at the pricing, and they said they'd get me a lower deal. I asked if the channels would be the same, and they said yes. Then they later point out that they told me a different package...but they still verified my "will it all be the same?" inquiry. I am not a Comcast employee, and it is not my job to check the packages they list when I point blank asked if I would have the same service.
They've blown me off for a solid day now without any response. A manager meanwhile, has blown me off for a week at a time, then acted like he'd done a bunch of work reading the twitter conversation...but completely ignored the fact that the confirmed for me that everything would be the same.
Comcast doesn't do business honestly. They put nice people in a position to provide bad service. Their pricing policies are designed to confuse. They offere different packages through different service entry points (website, phone, twitter, Executive Customer Relations, Tom K's team, and stores, probably among others), and try and upsell you to services you don't want or need by actually charging you *more* for less service.
And then they wonder why people dislike them so very much.
In any case, I need to speak with the manager in charge of the twitter team.

And I will reply to this every single day until such time as this concern is addressed with more than a canned apology. I need my channels back, and I need to not have to explain the entire situation over again for someone. You can get my account information, but it is up to Comcast to do the research adn understand that this is far beynd a simple "what can I do for you now?" circumstance. This is a need to speak with management regarding a pattern of poor customer service. And by management I mean nobody who works in customer service for a living.

  • Does Apple have an inactive account manager data policy?

Does Apple have an inactive account policy? Like Google has for example wherebt you can choose what happens to your data after an x amount of time (which you choose). This would be good if you die or fall in a coma or whatever. You can choose someone else you nominate to be able to access your data or you can choose to have it deleted forever. Please advise if you know.

To the best of my knowledge, Apple does have a lemon policy, but I don't know that it is explicitly stated anywhere. I have heard of people being able to get their computer replaced after a series of major repairs.
Since you are a long ways from an Apple Store, it would probably be best to call Apple and ask to speak to Apple Customer Relations. They are a special tier at Apple whose mission is to solve problems that have not been solved at a lower level and to try to make Apple customers happy. They are also able to authorize a replacement machine.
Get together all of your repair records and case numbers if you have them and call and make your case. Be very polite and nice, but let them know how disappointed you are both with your machine and with the service you have received so far which has still not fixed everything. Do mention the many hours of your time that have been wasted in trying to get your Mac fixed satisfactorily.
In the future, it may be better to send your Mac off to an official Apple repair depot instead of trying to get it fixed at an Apple Store. My niece did that, and had very fast turnaround, sending hers off Tuesday at 6:00 PM and getting it back before noon on Thursday. To do that, you call Apple, and they will send you a special shipping box.
    Good luck!

  • Twitter integration official Twitter-app

    Hi guys,
Today I installed Mountain Lion, what a great OS!
I've a question regarding the Twitter integration. When I click on the notification I get about an mention, Safari opens and goes to www.twitter.com and requires me to login. I never use Twitter.com an my password is too difficult to remember :-). Is there a possibility to open the mention or message in the official Twitter-app? It would be great if this is possible.
Is it also possible to disable the sound when you've send a tweet? I can only disable the sound for incoming messages.
    Thanks,
    Daan from the Netherlands

I've my Twitter account details filled in at Mail, contacts & Calanders. I see my mentions in the notification center, however, when I click on the mention I have to enter my account details again at twitter.com.

Welcome to the world of digital media. Your can't really transfer it. I don't know what the rules are about transferring to your spouse but I do know that in some cases when you die, your heirs cannot inherit your digital media. This is why there is still an advantage to buying the CD since the usage rights belong to whomever holds the physical media.
A possible workaround is to burn the songs to a music CD with yout account (tracks only without song titles) and then having your wife upload it as a regular music CD onto her account. It's been a while since i've done this so I'm not sure if it would work now.
Please note that I'm not advocating copyright and/or TOS violations. I'm only suggesting ways to copy music for your own personal use which has traditonally been permitted. I only did this because I wanted to convert iTunes songs to mp3 files so I could burn them onto a data CD for use in my car. It would make sense that since married couples are a joint entity, this would be personal use.
Also, I'm not a lawyer so don't take this as legal advice.

  • I have a Twitter account and two days ago when I try to sign on it times out, says server taking to long.

I have been unable to access my twitter account for two days, when I log in it will not connect, it tells me the server is not responding and it times out, all other pages I use are fine, I can't even get to the page by searching and going into page that way.

This is from article on device with multiple computers:
iPod shuffle and iPhone are intended for use with a single computer. You cannot load music from multiple computers or iTunes libraries onto iPod shuffle and iPhone like you can with other devices.
