What is AT&T contract?

I have a cousin in US and I want him to buy me the iphone 4 8G AT&T with 2 years contract which cost 99$ and I wonder what are the AT&T contract that I need to do if I use it in Cambodia? Please advice thanks

If you buy it with a contract, yes. And you will only be able to use it with the AT&T network or by paying AT&T for international roaming fees. Over the course of the 2 year contract, it will cost you approximately $1920 + the initial price of the phone, + the international roaming rates for talk (roughly $1 per minute) plus the international roaming rate for data (at least $150 per month). Not knowing how much you plan to talk, I'll estimate a low end of 120 minutes per month.
That comes out to a (low) estimate of $8600 over the course of the 2 year contract.
Doesn't sound like such a great deal now, does it?

• What is meant by contract ?

hi all,
I am new to SAP.
what is meant by contract, pipeline, third-party, sub-contract,consinment ?
thnks in advance.
by,
raghul

Dear raghul
- [Contract] When you enter into an agreement with some parties for some reason, it may be called as contract which would be valid for a specified period wherein, conditions to be adhered to, would be listed and should be agreed by both the parties.
- [Pipeline] In automobile industry, this is very famous. A pipeline consists of a chain of processing elements arranged so that the output of each element is the input of the next. If any work is stopped in between these element, the entire production would come to standstill. This plays a vital role in major manufacturing industries.
- [Third Party] In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
- [Subcontract] In manufacturing industries, it is highly impossible to carry out all operations. Wherever sensitive operations involved, it will be done inhouse and rest they will have couple of vendors to do that particular operation. For that particular operation of a component, whatever the vendor incurrs, company will pay the money.
- [Consignment] In case of sales to OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), this plays a major role. OEMs like Maruti, Suzuki will not place order as and when they require. Instead, they will release a open order which will be valid for two three years. Based on this open order, they just release schedules regularly. What manufacturer should do is to appoint a warehouse agent nearer to the OEMs region and stock the goods ordered by OEMs. As and when it is required by these OEMs, it will be despatched from these warehouses.
thanks

• What is the reason contract phones cannot be used on a prepaid plan?

I originally posted this question in the Basic Phones forum, but I think that may have been the wrong place to ask this.
I am interested in activating a phone on the $50 basic phone prepaid plan, but the phone I tried to activate would not work. It was the Casio Ravine 2 C781.
I already know that contract phones will not work on the prepaid plan. I also have already spoken with two customer service reps, and they were helpful, but they could not answer my questions.
What is the actual reason that basic feature contract phones will not work on the prepaid basic plan? Is it the PTT feature?
The Ravine 2 was new with a clean ESN, and it's just a basic phone. I don't blame anyone except myself, but I would like to avoid this in the future. btw, I gave the Ravine to my mom and dad who are on a contract plan, and it is working great.
One of the reps I spoke with said that this may change in the near future, and that phones like the Ravine 2 may work on the prepaid plan soon. Does anyone know if this is true?
To make things more confusing, I just read an older post that states if a contract phone like the Ravine is activated for at least 6 months, it then can be activated on a prepaid plan. Is there any truth to this?
Finally, I understand that there are some basic flip phones available that I can purchase like the Revere 2 and the Gusto 2, but I prefer the quality of the Ravine 2. I need the rugged phone capability due to my work environment.
Thanks for your time.
Jim

• What is security fund contract field in VDARL table

hi
i want to retrieve the security fund contract value
from VDARL table. But what is field in VDARL that is
pointing to this.?

Hi Gupta,
In std SAP ERP 6.x there is no such field in MARC. This field can be found only in follwing tables:
T5W68 SARS Interface : Record Types
RECTYP SARS Record Type
J_1IEWTPROV Table for TDS provisions
RECTYP Record type for TDS / Service tax
J_1ISERVC Service tax details
RECTYP Record type for TDS / Service tax
CRFILEPOS Payment Card File: Individual Records
RECTYP Payment Card File: Record Type
T5W67 SARS Interface : Definition of Electronic Tax Certificate
RECTYP SARS Record Type
Your collegue might have some enhancement done to MARC table or some Industry Solution activated that added such an extra field to MARC. Only knowing what that is you will be able to check why it was added.

• What is service agreement , -contract, -quotation and confirmation

what is service agreement and service level agreement?
what is service contract and service contract quotation?
what is service order and service order quotation?
what is service confirmation?
can anybody explain me these all
regards,
izaz

> what is service agreement and service level agreement?
A service agreement is a business transaction that defines the products and the pricing conditions that are covered under the service contract. A service contract or a service contract quotation could be the follow up document to a service agreement.
A service level agreement defines the maximum level of service that could be available to a customer. The two profiles that are used to define SLA are response profile(maximum time taken to respond to a compliant) and service profile(time taken to solve the issue)
> what is service contract and service contract quotation?
A service contract is a business transaction that is an agreement which define services offered for a particular period to a customer. It will lists the customers' products covered under the contract and also pricing conditions for each product.
A service contract is a follow up document of the service contract quotation.
The service contract quotation is a business transaction that is intially sent to the customer which defines what services could be offered to him, the prices and the products covered under these. if the customer agrees, a contract could be created else there could be further negotiations.
what is service order and service order quotation
A Service order quotation is an offer to the customer with conditions for the performance of a service/delivery of spare parts. It also states prices for the work involved. Once the customer has accepted it becomes a service order by copy control/follow-up.
it is different from a service contract because it is not a long term agreement, just one time offer.
> what is service confirmation?
A service confirmation is a business transaction that is used to confirm all the service parts, expenses, spare parts, and tools used while performing a service. It is also used to enter the actual time spent in doing the work. All these can be used to create a billing document for the customer.
A service confirmation is a follow up document of a service process. (not necessary). All the items in the service process are automatically copied to the service confirmation. the service employee will select the ones used and a bill is created for the customer based on these items in the confirmation.
hope this helps. reward with points.

• What happens when your contract ends?

My contract ends on the 10th, but I want to wait until after the 17th to do anything. (New job, different discount, etc.)

dependings on your plan. once your contract is up you may be eligble for mopre discounts. depends on what your trying to do

• What happens when your contract expires?

I plan to keep my 3G and not bother upgrading to 3GS as my contract runs out in April so I would only have to wait 2 months for 4th gen. Though, I'm not sure what will happen during those two months as I've never been on contract before. Will they change the sim to run as PAYG or something else?
I'm on 02 by the way.

The iPhone 3G was released in July 2008...so the earliest the contract will expire is July 2010! When that happens, break the champagne bottle cause your contract with AT&T is over!

• What happened to my contract?

Previously with BT for phone calls only, I ordered Unlimited Broadband with Infinity 1 in January 2015. I agreed a 12 month contract (broadband and calls) for £23 per month, discounted to £10 per month for the year. I would also get BT Sport for free through my Sky box. This was confirmed by email and my service finally activated on February 19.
A month later I received a call from BT asking if I would like to renew my contract. After some debate, the caller agreed that there had been a mistake and I didn't need to do anything.
Earlier this month my latest bill arrived, charging me the full £23 per month, instead of the agreed £10. I rang customer services and was told BT had made an error and I would get a refund at some point and a call back to confirm. I am still waiting!
To cap it all, I have today received an email stating that from August 1, I will need to pay £5 per month to receive the new BT Sport package, which I suppose is fair enough (just). However it went on to say that I will also be charged a £6.75 per month "out of contract" fee unless I renew.
I would be interested to know just what BT considers to be a 12 month contract, as I have had nothing but hassle and inconsistent treatment since I signed up a few months ago. Do I really have to agree a new contract every month or so?

Hi oyster1,
Thanks for posting. I am sorry that there is some confusion surrounding your contract.
I can certainly get this sorted for you. Can you send me in your details using the "Contact The Mods" link found in my profile and I will take it from there.

• What is the normal contract length on a jetpack device?

Does anybody know what the normal contract length is on a jetpack device?

Subsidized jetpacks have two-year contracts.

• Infinity speeds not what BT promised in contract

BT,
13 months ago I signed up to Infinity and then upgraded to Infinity2 earlier this year. My contract letter from BT advised I should be able to download at 29Mbps and for most of this year that has been the case. Often it exceeded that as can be seen from the attached graph. I appreciate it's not using the official BT test but I have used that and the results are identical. You can see the highest speed was 38.59Mbps. Impressive!
As you can see there has been a substantial drop in speed in recent weeks. I have performed tests via both Ethernet enabled PCs and wireless 'n' laptops and the results are identical. I haver also run tests at 6pm and 11.30pm with no difference so busy times are not a factor. I have performed a power down on the router but the low download speeds persist.
Is this a problem only BT can fix and if so how do I go about getting it fixed? Can it be done via these pages or is a phone call necessary?

resets are the worse thing you can do as the DLM will see the line as unstable and reduce your IP Profile to stabilise the line you now need to leave the modem powered up 24/7 with no restarts for at least the next 2 weeks to give the DLM to see the the line as stable and then your IP Profile should start rising again

• What table is the contract number stored for Limit POu2019s

Hi,
I wanted to know the table name where the contract numbers are stored for the Limit PO? Are there any specific tables where contract numbers are stored.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Deepak BR

Hi Deepak,
i think in the BBPS_MON_SC_ITEM structure we can know the contract no asigned to limit item PO as in that structure the ITM_TYPE field specifices whether it is a normal Shopping cart or Limit cart. And there are many other structures which you can search via SE16.
Hope it helps you to some extent,
Lokesh.

• What if you are on contract & move out of the area or even out of the country for a time?

I'm just wondering. My win mob 6.5 phone is not working very well. It freezes, the alarms have 5 alarms when only 1 was set & sometimes they seem to not even go off. Previously they would go off even when turned off--didn't seem to make a difference. Sometimes it is really slow to open an email, etc. & this one was a replacement for the Touch Pro 2 which wasn't working right.
So at any rate, I need to get a new one before long & want another smart phone--a reliable one this time. I would like to get the iPhone 4S I think.
I'm eligible for an upgrade, although when I used the upgrade fundtion & looked at the iPhone 4S, it just showed the 2 yr price--it didn't show my New Every 2 discount.
In addition, I'm not sure what my long term plans are. I'm not planning on moving anywhere real soon, but it is possible that I might be moving out of the area before 2 years are up or maybe not. Or I might even go overseas for awhile.
So what happens if you are on a 2 year contract & move out of the area either permanently or out of the country for months or more? btw, before these smart phone fiascos, I kept my last previous basic LG flip phone for about 5 years because it just worked.

So what if its a different Verizon region? You just move & keep your contract if there is service?
& if you suspend without bllling, is there a time limit on that?
Of course they should give you credit for months when you could get a new phone but keep the old one. Before this period just ending (which because they messed up & called a replacement an upgrade & put me on a new 2 yr contract when all along I said no, when I got that taken off & then corrected the upgrade date (originally it was supposed to be 12/2011 & they had changed it to 12/2012) rather than reset it back to the original they reset it to when I got the replacement phone or actually a few months later so I think the contract end date was in July. But now I wlll be up to when my original upgrade date should have been. Well actually I guess they allow you to upgrade maybe 22 mo or so into a contract or they used to.
My previous phone before this 2 yr period I kept the phone for 5 years. The phone before that which was also a flip phone, the hinge broke at least a couple of mo before I was eligible for upgrade so I had it taped together.
I didn't look at other phones & I don't know what their 2 yr contract price would be.

• Open quantity in contracts which have calloffs archived

Hi all!!
We have contracts with their corresponding calloffs created. If the calloffs are archived, how can we obtain the open quantities in the contract in a Z-program? That is, which fields have to be checked? In VBUK table there is no "archived status" or soemthing like that. In table VBUP there is a field RFGSA which indicates if the item has been referenced totally or partially but I don't how to use it together with any other status.
Example:
Contract 1000 pcs.
Call off: 500 pcs archived
Call off: 400 pcs archived
There are still 100 pcs. opened but in our report it's displayed 1000 pcs as opened.
How can we get that 100 pcs are opened and 900 are archived?
Thanks in advance for any idea & best regards

Hai icasado,
In standard SAP
Contract - SO will updates once it is processed.
In case in sales order is rejected with some reason then the quantity will flow back to contract.
For the similar requirment we had made enhancement in sales order to check
At the time of saving sales order, system check
what is the refereed contract
for that what is list of sales order prepared
(Contract - Sales order quanity) - Current sales order qunaity = X
1000 - (500+400) - 1000 = -900
If X is less than 0,
system displays ( Contract qty + -900) = 100
Only 100 Mt can be allowed.

Your answers are highly appreciated ..
Srinivas.

Hi Srinivas,
To Load Contract, you need to have higher Hierarchy object.
In Real Estate master data flow is some thing like this,
Business Entity (BE)
Building (BU)
Property (PR)
Rental Unit (RO)
Contract (CN)
BU and PR are at same level, Generally PR are used for Lease-In contract where vendors are used.
Now coming to your question,
You can Assign contract to any of Higher Hierarchy (BE, BU,PR,RU) it depends on the client requirement and Desgin.
IF you are working on Lease-In contract, (General Solution)
Create BE
Create PR and attached to BE
Create CN for PR
If you working on Lease-Out contract (General Solution)
Create BE
Create BU assign it to BE
Create RU Assign it to BE
Create CN for RU
Note:- In RE Classic you have lease-out and lease-in contracts seperately but when it comes to Flexibel Real Estate you have only contract and you differentiate it with Contract Type.
It Depends upon how your are giving input file to BAPI It can either
1. Tab Delimited Text file or
2. Excel File.. Etc
Below is sample format (Tab Delimited) input format for BAPI
