Difference between component configuration and application configuration in webdynpro
what is the difference between component configuration and application configuration in webdynpro?
Hi Rohit,
With the component configuration, you can control the behavior of each individual component within a Web Dynpro application or the user interface of individual views. For each component, several records of configuration data can be created.
Using the application configuration, it is now possible to assign the configuration required in the current application to all the components used.
In short : Component Config belongs to WDP Component and Appl'n Config. belongs to WDP Appl'n.
Check this document for more information.

Difference between configurable and non configurable finished goods master
Hi
Pl explain the difference between configurable and non configurable finished goods master data.
Thanks
kamalaHi,
Configurable material are used when you have a large number of combination of parts that go into a product. It means different combinations of the parts for same material. If you maintain a unique material code for each combination , you require a large number of material numbers. KMAT is used in such a case where you maintain just one generic product code. You assign class to this material having all variant characteristics.
A super BOM is maintained for such a material consisting of all possible alternatives. A super routing is also maintained consisting of all possible operations that could be used.
Typically configurable material is used in Made To Order (MTO) environment. However frequently ordered configurations may be planned with a material variant which needs to have a material master record. Thus Material variants may have stock and value. Depending upon characteristic values chosen at sales order entry Sales Order BOM is created. Routing operations are also chosen depending upon which BOM components are assigned to them.
Non configurable materials are like finish, semi finish materials having fixed BOM. A separate/single BOM exits for every finish material.
Revert back for more info.
thanks and regards,

CF Installations :Key differnces between Multiserver configuration and J2EE Configuration
Hi,
Can anyone give the important differences between Multiserver
configuration and J2EE Configuration installations?..Hello Dalibor,
While the service account user object has Use DES selected it would appear your user session is still sending the AS Java an RC4 service ticket. This might occur if your user had requested a service ticket before Use DES was selected, or before that setting had replicated to the appropriate domain controller. The fix might be as simple and logging out and logging back in now that some time has passed.
You could also download the Microsoft kerbtray utility and inspect the service ticket enc type to validate this. kerbtray can also be used to clear old tickets and is generally useful for troubleshooting this kind of thing.
Thanks!

What's the difference between SharePoint configuration and farm configuration
As the title shows, I feel confused on this two concepts. Could someone please give me an easy understanding answer? I am writing a report about SharePoint assessment. A lot of new things to learn to such a fresh hand as me.
When I look at it, they're one in the same. It is a "SharePoint Farm Configuration".

Configuring and Controlling Agilent 332220A signal generator...
Hello,
I am trying to configure and finally control Agilent 33220A signal
generator through my Labview VI. Signal Generator has USB, LAN and GPIB
interface. Measurment studio recognises it, however I need assistance
to proceed from that point. I would be happy, if some body can guide me
through this process.
Any online manual or user guide would be great.
Thanks in advance...
ShivaramHi Sine,
Just to recall what all I did,
* Downloaded agilent signal generator instrument drivers from the link given below.
http://sine.ni.com/apps/we/niid_web_display.download_page?p_id_guid=E3B19B3E9066659CE034080020E74861
* Extracted the downloaded zip file to get a folder by name "ag33xxx".
* Then copy paste this folder in the location given below.
C:/Program Files/National Instruments/LabVIEW 7.1/instr.lib
* That's it. You are done. Connect the signal generator either through USB cable or RS232 or via LAN.
* Now you can communicate and control the signal generator
through the labview VIs. You can do so by right clicking in the block
diagram then, point to "Input", "Instr Drivers". I have attached a
screen shot of it.
* I have also attached a VI, which I have developed with the help of this form.
Hope this information helps...

Computer and maplist configuration
Hello,
I work in an video/motiongraphics company, it's a small one and currently I'm reshifting and reorganising things. Since were getting a few new systems and the fact that I'm in an endless discussing with my supervisor about maplist configuration I thought I'd ask here.
My supervisor is convinced that you shouldn't put your project (ae, premiere, encore, etc) on the same HD as your footage.
For instance, HD 1 is the projects HD this HD only contains the .prproj, auto save and preview files (HD1/ProjectTitle_project/...). The footage for the same project is stored on a seperate HD (HD2/ProjectTitle_footage/...). The render files are on a third HD (HD3/Scratch/...)
My sollution (since it's more compatible with transferring projects from one editing set to another) is a PROJECT HD with the .prproj files and all the footage, audio, etc in one folder with individual subfolders (PROJECTS/2012_11 ProjectTitle/...) and the render files on a separate HD (SCRATCH/RENDER/...).
The new system is configured like this (at least this is what i think is best)
MAC HD (system drive, only program's and such)
PROJECTS (This is the map where all the projects are based)
SCRATCH (Two partitions, 500 gb for stockfootage, soundeffects, etc., 1,5 tb for rendering etc.)
FINISHED (running projects that shouldn't be transferred completely to the backup disk)
All suggestions for maplist configuration and disk configuration are VERY WELCOME!
Thanks in advance.

What are the factors which tells us machine is not ready for Windows Azure VM Readiness. On which bases MAP toolkit9.1 find that machines are ready or not. What are base lines on which MAP toolkit9.1 gives that machines are not ready for update and on which
bases we apply changes on the machines to make machines updatable.Hello Jatin,
The ASAP Roadmap provides the methodology for implementing and continuously optimizing your SAP System. It divides the implementation process into five phases and offers detailed Project Plans to assist you (in Microsoft Project format). The documentation stored at each level of the Roadmap tree structure contains recommendations on implementing your SAP System and links to helpful tools and accelerators.
Baseline configuration is an activity to be taken during realaization phase of ASAP methodology. In this phase, you configure the requirements contained in the Business Blueprint. Baseline configuration (major scope) is followed by final configuration (remaining scope), which can consist of up to four cycles. Other key focal areas of this phase are conducting integration tests and drawing up end user documentation.
In layman's language you can say thyat baseline configuration is the minimum configuration that you need to do in SAP tp enable it to capture the end to end business cycles in consideration. It will include all the settings to be done in spro, creation of master data etc.
Hope I had been able to help you. please assign points.

IMovie and Final Cut Pro unexpectedly when importing 720p MPEG files
I'm running iMovie/FinalCutPro on Yosemite. Every time I try and import a 720p MP4 with 60FPS both programs quit unexpectedly while generating the thumbnails. The files I am using have run/imported without any problems into Quicktime, VLC, Adobe Premiere and my brother's iMovie on his Macbook Pro machine.
What I have done in no particular order:
1. Cache/preferences cleaning
2. Re-install iMovie
3. Delete all codecs except AIC and AppleMPEG2
4. Install codecs (Perian, divx, xvid)
5. Delete Flash Player
6. Repair permissions
7. Repair hard drive in safe mode
8. Delete iPhoto database, tinker with GarageBand
9. I logged in as a guest user and the problem persists
10. 540p MP4 with 30FPS and that had no problem importing into iMovie
I believe I have isolated the issue to a quicktime engine that is either corrupted or defective that is causing both iMovie and Final Cut Pro to crash. I could use Adobe Premiere or another machine, but I prefer iMovie and would like it to work on my machine. The only solution I can think of is reinstalling the OS, but I really am against that.
Let me know if you have any other ideas. Please see the Problem Report below:

Do you think thats possible?I'm sorry my thread title is so bad. What I meant is "iMovie and Final Cut Pro quit unexpectedly when importing 720p MP4 files"

I have to configure 20+ iPads for events that are sometimes in French, sometimes in English, sometimes both. It is important that I can preset the keyboard settings to allow multiple languages (for example). I've been looking in Apple Configurator and iPhone Configuration Utility, and I can't find where I can set that kind of settings during deployment.
Is there a way I can manage all the settings of the iPads without having to go through each iPad to make sure the settings are ok for my event?Order Management provides you with the ability to import ATO and PTO configurations from legacy systems or EDI. In your case, you should define the ATO/PTO model first and then import the order and configuration selections from the EDI.
The order import will let you create an Order even if the selections are invalid.
You should then programmatic book and progress the order (using Order actions api).
If the configuration is valid, then the API will generate a * number (ATO item), create bom/routing as appropriate and place that item on the sales order.
If the configuration is invalid, it won't let you book the order. Once you have fixed the invalid selections/configurations, you will be able to book and progress the order.
See http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/A89549_01/acrobat/115omapi.pdf for details.
Also refer to the "Importing Configurations" section in Oracle Order Management Suite White Papers [ID 113492.1]
Hope this helps

What is the cisco ironport C680 and M680 configuration backup file size?
what is the cisco ironport C680 and M680 configuration backup file size?
Size of the XML itself? That is going to vary based on what you have configured, total lines of code, and # of appliances you may/may not have in cluster.
M680, based on SMA as stand-alone, should be similar --- you are probably looking @ < 1 MB...
Looking @ my test environment, in which I have a nightly cron job set to grab a backup of...

So, 161115 bytes = .15 MB

How to connect old aiport express to my new Airport Extreme?
I have a PC running with Win7 and just replaced my Jensen With a brand New Airport Extreme.
I have set up the Airport Extreme to the internet, Iphones and Ipads and it work as it should.
I have downloaded latest Version of Airport tool on my PC. In addition i have downloaded the airport tool for Ipad.
I have reset one of my airport Express and it now shows up both on the Ipad and on the PC airport tool.
My Ipad says "base station e5713b cannot be configured."
I have wired the airport Express to my Ethernet to be able to "see it" on my Airport tool.
My AirPort tool on the PC will not permit me to add the airport Express to my new Airport Extreme network (no network names on the drop-down list to choose from). I wished for an easy set-up, but nothing seems to be plug and play as the Commercial says.. can you please help me?
SigveHi
Thanks for Swift reply.
Yep - I in fact have two A1088 and one A1264
I actually bought the new router because the Jensen
router always lost connection to the Airport Express after some hours or days. I
always needed to restart my Jensen to play music and that was driving my wife
mad. The hope was that the Extreme should fix this. Both A1088 have been set up
to only stream music to two of my stereo amplifiers from my PC’s Itunes library.
Are the A1088 now useless?
The A1264 has been set up to feed internet into a Denon Reciever that needed Ethernet cable.
Please advise

finished, at about 26 chaps, 1) hard-drive went out, 2) visited site & then got "ur virus is infected buy us now" pop-ups (only time in 3 year. of using a mac, and 3) (forget what but an issue. Spent hours on-line, and at store. And finally w/an attorney when I kept being told it was user error. (I"m getting to book isssue I promise) During this time, Harddrive was wiped, external b-up replaced, something about "separated" etc. etc. and even computer replaced w/same issues afterward. Final vrdict 1 yr. later: 1_ we've never seen it 2_ we don't know what it is--not a virus, not harddrive malfunciton, not software issue 3_ we don't know how to fix it. Live w/it w/multiple errors and oddities every time you try to type or start all over. Got an attorney, and took it in again, and miractulously, "he" fixed it. However, in meantime, I wrote many duplicate chapts. when I couldn't find missing, or edited, some, etc.
Everything was writen in Pages, chapt. by chapt. Now I have a 27 chap. book(my first) in pieces--w/many duplicate or slightlychanged chapters all over the computer. I'm trying to reconstruct. Some chaps. I just can't find, some are garbled, some do strange things like left justifying and changing to single space (and can't change back to double, just have to erase and start over, on those old documents. Needless to say I have felt so defeated it's been really hard to get back to the almost finished book for last re-write.
The Questions: 1)I'm trying to find the chapters, and as I find and edit them I need to know how to make this massive achievement work. Should I continue w/chapter by chapt until all are finished? Or start putting them into single document as they are finished? How do I find anything? If I put finished in PDF to send to publisher, even tho it's my PDF, I can't go back and edit my own, except in a duplicate entire document, is that correct?
I cant' find the string to start unraveling this mess. I do have hardcopies made and presented to writing group so need to edit those chapters.
I'm used to paper typewritten copies of everything for manipulation, and I know things now I should have done on the Mac but didn't when I started. (I"m also having trouble getting a Table of Contents to work, which is making it doubly hard to find anything.)
To sum it up, I think, How do I write a book, with chapters (no technical sstuff, only a few footnotes & I may group them at the back of the book.) as far as manipulating documetns/folders, have ready for export, etc. Probably too long a question so go ahead and chew me out. (And I havent' used any other document except Text Edit in years.) I am overwhelmed an book is wasting away.If you are wondering why you are not getting any responses, it is because you have vented a complaint without any details that make any sense or give anyone something to work on.
If you want help, I suggest actually detailing what has happened, with versions of software etc. Anything that would let us assist.
As a start I am guessing that you have not really got the hang of "How it all works". Firstly download the Pages09_UserGuide.pdf from under the Help menu. Read that and view the Video Tutorials in the same place. A good addition would be the iWork 09 Missing manual book and something to help you learn how to use your Mac.

What's the implicit joins and how to configure it?
Hello guys
what's the implicit joins and how to configure it? What's the purpose of implicit and explicit joins?
Please help
Thank youThus, on my side, I think that :
Explicit join define the join condition between the key column from the table.
(table1.di = table2.id)
While
Implicit Join define :
* the type of join outer, inner, ...
http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dw/join/start
* And the relationship (one-to-many, cardinality)
http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dw/data_quality/relationships
And all this information are used to generate the statement (query).
And I don't really know why you have two type of key :
* Physical Foreign Keys
* Logical Foreign Keys
