What is benefit of Menu pages rather than multiple menus?

I'm sure there is a simple anwer to this.
I see in a pop up where you can't link to another pop up  that pages become necessary. Is there some distinct advantages to having one menu with multiple pages, over having seperate menus. Even if they look identicle except for the links.

To me the difference is the speed in changing from menu to menu: in multi-page menus there’s a seamless change, but in separate pages there’s a noticeable delay between menus.
I can also have the same video/audio background for the whole menu that will continue without pauses/stops for the whole menu navigation while this cannot be done with various menus.
The only downside I’m having with multi-page menus is that I don’t know why (maybe color limitation?) some button colors are replaced by others that ruin them.

    Hi andrewh13313189,
If you have Acrobat Pro, you can apply page transitions to your PDF. Please see: Adobe Acrobat X Pro * Add page transitions (these instructions also apply to Acrobat Pro XI).

  • Digital Signatures per page rather than per document

I am looking for some type of solution allowing for digital signatures for pdf files using a certificate authority.
These documents will have signatures on each page.
Am looking for a solution which would be able to validate on a page-by-page basis rather than the entire document.
For example, if we had 10 pages with one signature on each page, and page 7 was changed, would only expect that the signature on page 7 be validated when making changes and not forcing the signatures on all the other 9 pages to be resigned.
Is anyone aware of such a solution?

I have a similar problem. Firstly, I understand the "flawed" comment above but reality is flawed.
I have a number of documents in excess of 1000 pages which I am attempting to manage digitally. However, they need to be available for inspection by my regulator who still requires a paper format. I would like to be able to print, (or have my regulator print), the digitally signed document but still have something, even a small code or watermark, that would be printed on each page to tie the paper to the digital signature on the front of the document.
    Is there such a feature?

  • When I go to a website, I get a menu of the website (a list down the left-hand side of the page) rather than the home page itself. Using internet explorer, I get to the home page. Why not on Firefox? It just started happening recently

I updated firefox a couple weeks ago, but updating has never caused this problem.
I installed a program to help the computer run more efficiently, called "Fix-it Essentials," and that may have caused the problem, though it didn't for the first couple weeks I used it.
So I still can't get to the homepage of many websites and navigate as I want to.

Simple really. The first 3 articles have steps in them, but not in this order.
#First, with Firefox closed, remove the toolbars from Windows ''Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs''. After the window populates, look for the Toolbars; if there, click on them and click on the button to the right of it that says "Remove". Then restart your system ''Start > Shut down > Restart''
    #*Article --> http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_toolbars#Uninstalling_via_Windows_Control_Panel
#Second, start Firefox and check in Firefox Add-ons: '''''Add-ons > Extensions'''''. Look for Yahoo Toolbar or Babylon and try to remove by clicking "Remove" or "Disable".
    #*Article --> http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons <u>and</u> http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Cannot%20uninstall%20an%20add-on
#Restart Firefox by exiting (''Firefox button > Exit'' or ''File > Exit''), wait a few seconds (10-30), then click the Firefox desktop icon to start Firefox and test to see if the problem is resolved.
The last 3 articles are for other steps to take if the above does not work to solve your problem.

  • Firefox opens on last visited page rather than home page as instructed in Tools / Options box. Why

A few days ago without warning, when I opened Firefox the page that came up was the last one visited, no matter how long ago -- a few hours, overnight. I kept going to Tools , Options to instruct it to open with my (defined) home page. No use.
So, what gives and how do I fix it?

You can check if you have a user.js file in the Firefox profile folder that sets the <b>browser.sessionstore.resume_session_once</b> pref to true.
You can use this button to go to the currently used Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
Note that Windows hides some file extensions by default.
Among them are .html and .ini and .js and .txt, so you may only see file name without file extension.
You can see the real file type (file extension) in the properties of the file via the right-click context menu in Windows Explorer.

  • How can I print every other page rather than every page?

I want to print certain pages of documents because some have information on page that I don't need. But I can't find a way to select certain pages (like 1,3). The print add-on mentioned in another question didn't work ... didn't even given an option to select pages. Chrome and Explorer both give this option. Why not on Firefox? There must be a way to do it without having to add in something. This is pretty basic.

Your question is no way related to Firefox OS. That's why as a moderator I moved it to '''Firefox for Desktop'''. For some reason that I don't know why... It was asked in the '''Firefox OS''' product. Another volunteer or paid staff member will respond to you shortly. The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other Firefox users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or Firefox developers.
If you want to leave feedback for Firefox developers, you can go to the Firefox ''Help'' menu and select ''Submit Feedback...'' or use [https://input.mozilla.org/feedback this link]. Your feedback gets collected at http://input.mozilla.org/, where a team of people read it and gather data about the most common issues.
If not, please be patient as this issue was posted in the wrong product forum therefore, moving it back puts it back in its place so you can get the proper support that you need regarding printing every other page.

  • Cross-Tab in multiple columns on same page rather than on multiple pages

I have a report that shows temperature readings and the date/time of the reading in a cross tab as a part of a report.  The amount of readings causes the cross-tab to take up multiple pages.  What I would like to do is set the cross tab to appear three or four times on the same page before going to the next page to reduce the number of pages in my report.  Any ideas on how I can do this?
    This is what I have:
    Page 1:
    Date/Time1  |  Temp1
    Date/Time2  |  Temp2
    Date/Time3  |  Temp3
    Date/Time4  |  Temp4
    Page 2:
    Date/Time5  |  Temp5
    Date/Time6  |  Temp6
    Date/Time7  |  Temp7
    Date/Time8  |  Temp8
    What I want is:
    Page 1
    Date/Time1  |  Temp1..............Date/Time5  |  Temp5..............Date/Time9   |  Temp9
    Date/Time2  |  Temp2..............Date/Time6  |  Temp6..............Date/Time10  |  Temp10
    Date/Time3  |  Temp3..............Date/Time7  |  Temp7..............Date/Time11  |  Temp11
    Date/Time4  |  Temp4..............Date/Time8  |  Temp8..............Date/Time12  |  Temp12
    Page 2
    Date/Time13  |  Temp17............Date/Time21  |  Temp21............Date/Time25  |  Temp25
    Date/Time14  |  Temp18............Date/Time22  |  Temp22............Date/Time26  |  Temp26
    Date/Time15  |  Temp19............Date/Time23  |  Temp23............Date/Time27  |  Temp27
    Date/Time16  |  Temp20............Date/Time24  |  Temp24............Date/Time28  |  Temp28

    hello,
Don's suggestion of creating a "mock cross tab" is a good one.
you can also try this Multiple Columns formatting idea if you wish:
    1) create a new report
    2) create a group on your date field
    3) put a summary on your Temp field and move it into the group header of the group
    4) suppress the details section and the group footer
    5) right click on the details section header in the design mode and choose Section Expert
    6) in the Common tab, choose Format With Multiple Columns
    7) in the Layout tab, choose a Width of about 2.66"
    8) choose Down Then Across for Printing Directions
    9) choose Format Groups With Multiple Columns
    10) bring this new report into your existing report as a subreport

  • How to print full page rather than partial

Since my daughter used my computer to make and print labels, I can no longer print a full size page. When clicking on print the screen content contents shift left and The printer prints as shown on the shifted image. What do I do?

    Hi charleshurst,
Please check your default printer settings as well as advanced Firefox settings. These are located under File Print under the Presets drop down. From here you can change the presets.
If this is not the case, it is possible that you can reset the settings to default with these instructions: [[Fix printing problems in Firefox]]

Currently my settings open a new tab in the same window. In a normal surfing session I may end up with numerous tabs. What if I just want to go from the page I'm on to the next...

  • When attempting to "print" to Adobe or create a pdf from a web page, the "print/pdf" result has a bunch of characters/jibberish on the page rather than recognizable letters/numbers

    What is causing this?

You could open it in the XPS application and check print preview to see if it comes out as TSN suggests (and likely will). You can go to the printer properties and adjust the page size accordingly.
You can also use the cropping in Acrobat to size all the pages and then use the Protect>Remove Hidden option to remove the cropped area.
