What is Capitalsaurus Add-on?

In my list of Firefox Add-ons there is an item labeled "Capitalsaurus Updat2e 1.1.0" (as written, including the "2"). I don't remember ever authorizing or installing such a thing and can find no information about it on the Internet. Do you know what it might be and if it is useful or harmful? Note I am in China.

Hi,
This does not seems to be issue with WDA. I guess you need to explore IE settings for this.

you may get some idea on this one.

  • What is an "Add on"? AND how do I go about making one?

Ok I've been looking around, and I see a lot of talk about these Labview Add on's/Apps.  I think it is great that Labview is expanding with this, but just what is an Add On.
Is it a glorified vi, with added features? I'm not really sure.
Are these add ons similar to chrome app, firefox add ons, visual studio add ons, and others?
Can I change what labview does with these add ons?
I'm interested in making an add on,  How do I go about this.
Being an intern I don't want to fork out lots of dough.  Is there a common API for which developers can use? I do have Labview 2012 dev suite, Can I make an add on with this alone?  I also have Visual Studios 2010, would this be a tool to develop an add on?
    Thanks

While true, I think this is another case of the misleading labeling of the Developer Suite. It seems to me that a**bleep**akaLax has the 2012 Developers Suite, which contains LV2011 and other items. Since the Dev Suite was released in 2012, it's called 2012.
I'm sure you already know Ben, but in case others are wondering, here is some info on the confusion. Sadly the Idea was declined, but the reason given provides insight.
EDIT: Apparently ashi-takaLax's name gets bleeped out. Fun times.

    Dear Sara,
I notice that you didn't reply to my questioning the this ambiguous stipulation of your services being extended to Adobe's rights in the use of my personal content or intellectual and creative property.
When I returned to my "files" section in Adobe Reader where they were transferred to in converting them to PDF they had all been removed. Around 6 projects in progress plus notes and several creative design images in one instance (attached to a writing project). I have access to the files and I am downloading Cloud desktop interface.
Does the interface of Reader in desktop automatically remove them from my online account, making them exclusively offline from here on OR must they be physically removed and so have they been removed by another party?
Finally, since they are made copyright in the conversion, must future files be made uploaded to signify and account for them as made copyright by the process record in my personal account?
Excuse my asking lots of questions. My work has been tampered with in the past and I am excited about this service I can avail of in protecting all of my work.
Yours Sincerely,Liam Anthony Dalton BA, FA

    APP-INF/lib or APP-INF/classes. I'd suggest APP-INF.
You then need to declare your listener in your ear's
    META-INF/weblogic-application.xml descriptor. Here's an example:
    <!DOCTYPE weblogic-application PUBLIC '-//BEA Systems, Inc.//DTD
    WebLogic Application 8.1.0//EN'

    <listener-class>com.bea.applife.Listener</listener-class>
    </listener>
    </weblogic-application>
And how does it get created before my app is even deployed? It's probably more accurate to say that it's the first thing called
during deployment. Essentially the application files are distributed to
the managed servers, application-wide classloaders are established etc,
and then the preStart callback is called on any listeners before the
Modules (eg webapp, ejb etc) are initialized.

In general, the classes in APP-INF/classes can reference other classes
loaded by the application classloader. This commonly includes jar files
in APP-INF/lib and EJBs. By default, classes in web-applications are
loaded by child classloaders so they would not be seen.

  • What are the "Add to Loop Library" requirements for creating automatically conforming loops?

I am trying to create my own loops that conform to the tempo and key of a song. I have made several loops in this way by selecting a region that is exactly 4 bars, for example, and then selecting "Add to Loop Library". If the sample is cut correctly, the "Type:" field is enabled which allows you to make it a Loop and therefore have it automatically conform to the song tempo.
In the past I have made loops that were very long, up to 128 beats, for the purpose of making mashups using instrumental tracks that I want to conform to the song. I now can't seem to create a large loop but I am not sure why. I know it is possible, but I don't know the steps I took to get there.
What are the exact requirements that allow a loop to be added to the loop library while also conforming to song key and tempo?

In the past I have made loops that were very long, up to 128 beats
The longest loop I managed to save as "Loop" had 55 measures (220 beats, 203 bpm). Longer loops could only be saved as "One shot". And the loop had to be cut at the end, not simply be trimmed by dragging the end of the region. The tempo matters; for a slow song the loop can only have fewer measures.

  • I once used this add on which when I hover the mouse on a word/link, a pop up will show of the meaning/image of the word, or search results. What's the add on?

I am looking for this particular add on or app which allows me to hover my mouse over a word or link and a pop up will appear beside such word or link showing either a picture or meaning of the word or a preview of the link. Sometimes it shows suggestions of sites relating to the word (almost similar to search results). I used it before but I cannot remember anymore what it was called. I would like to use it again.

Hi. I have had a look around I think I have found something that may help. Give an addon called "Wiktionary and Google Translate" a go. You can find it [https://addons.mozilla.org/En-US/firefox/addon/google-dictionary-and-google-t/ here].
Feel free to leave the developer of the addon some feedback if you like it. It looks really useful, I might be tempted to use this one myself.

  • What is business add-ins and business transaction events

    Dear All,
Would you mind tell me what it sht business add-ins and business transaction events ?
i still not understand about this after i read the training material
    Regards
    Luke

    Hi LukeWong ,
    BAdi:
SAP Business Add-Ins (BAdIs) are one of the most important technologies used to adapt SAP software to specific requirements. BAdIs were introduced with Release 4.6 and replace function module exits. This technology is not limited to SAP applications. BAdI calls can be integrated in customer applications. These can then be enhanced by other customer applications. In the various SAP applications, BAdI calls are implemented at places where enhancements are appropriate.Business add-ins are enhancements to the standard version of the system. They can be inserted into the SAP System to accommodate user requirements too specific to be included in the standard delivery. Since specific industries often require special functions, SAP allows you to predefine these points in your software.
As with customer exits, two different views are available:
    · In the definition view, an application programmer defines exit points in a source that allow specific industry sectors, partners, and customers to attach additional coding to standard SAP source code, without having to modify the original object.
    · In the implementation view, the users of Business Add-Ins can customize the logic they need or use a standard solution, if one is available.
In contrast to customer exits, Business Add-Ins no longer assume a two-level infrastructure (SAP and customer solutions), but instead allow for a multi-level system landscape (SAP, country-specific versions, industry solutions, partner, customer, and so on). You can create definitions and implementations of Business Add-Ins at any level of the system landscape.SAP guarantees the upward compatibility of all Business Add-In interfaces. Release upgrades do not affect enhancement calls from within the standard software nor do they affect the validity of call interfaces. You do not have to register Business Add-Ins in SSCR.
The Business Add-In enhancement technique differentiates between enhancements that can only be implemented once and enhancements that can be used actively by any number of customers at the same time. In addition, Business Add-Ins can be defined according to filter values. This allows you to differentiate between Add-In implementations using the filter Country or other criteria.
The enhancement technique is set up in such a way that it is possible to define interfaces for ABAP soure code, screens, GUI interfaces, and tables. These allow customers to include their own enhancements in the standard. A single Business Add-In contains all of the interfaces necessary to implement a specific task.
BADI is just an object-oriented version of user-exit. Instead of entering program code into some function module (as in customer-exit), you define some class which has to implement predefined methods and those methods are fired at predefined points just like an old user-exit. Some BADI can have multiple independent implementations which is much better for software deployment as several developers can implement the same BADI independently. BADI/UserExists are used to enhance R/3 For customer Needs.
Actually there is no transaction to find when and where the BADI
    is called.
    1. You can see the BADI description to find why it is called.
    2. Once you implemented and activated the BADI, put some break points
in the BADI and see "where else used" option to check in what all
programs this BADI is called. In the ITS debug, when you are doing
the operation what exactly the BADI description tells, it will take
to the break points and you have to do manually debug the whole thing.
I know its bit difficult to do manual debug the whole thing, it
takes lot of time, but you have to be very patience when you are
    dealing with BADI's.
Transaction SE18 is the BADI equivalent of transaction SMOD
Transaction SE19 is the BADI equivalent of transaction CMOD .
To find the BADI to be implemented and then implement this via SE19.
These steps should enable you to find any BADI related to any transaction in a matter of minutes.
    Procedure 1:
    1) Go to the transaction SE37 to find your function module.
    2) Locate the function SXV_GET_CLIF_BY_NAME.
    3) Put a breakpoint there.
    4) Now open a new session.
    5) Go to your transaction. 6) At that time, it will stop this function.
    7) Double click on the function field EXIT_NAME.
    8) That will give you name of the BADI that is provided in your transaction.
    Business Add-Ins
    Procedure 2:
    1) Goto se24 (Display class cl_exithandler)
    2) Double click on the method GET_INSTANCE.
    3) Put a break point at Line no.25 (CASE sy-subrc).
    4) Now Execute SAP standard transaction
    5) Press the required button for which you need to write an exit logic, the execution will stop at the break point.
    6) Check the values of variable 'exit_name', it will give you the BADI name called at that time.
    7) This way you will find all the BADIs called on click of any button in any transaction

    Business Transaction Events
Business Transaction Events (Open FI) The Open FI enhancement technique was developed in the Financial Accounting component. Open FI is based upon the following principles: Application developers must define their interface in a function module, an assignment table is read in the accompanying (generated) code, and the customer modules assigned are called dynamically. This technique differentiates between enhancements that are only allowed to have one implementation and enhancements that can call multiple implementations in any sequence desired. Both industry-specific and country-specific enhancements may be defined.
SAP business transaction events are one type of customer enhancements provided by SAP! We can access the business transaction events using FIBF.Next we have to find the process interface for duplicate invoice check!

Can anyone tell me what the 'add marker' feature is used for in iMovie 10, I cant find any documentation on it anywhere, it doesnt even show under the help menu???

    ray sharpe wrote:

    hmm… well observed!
In iMovie, markers are actually just… blue dots.
In its bigger brother, FCPX, markers are…
    Markers overview
Markers are reference points you can place within clips to locate, identify, annotate, and navigate to specific frames. In editing, markers are particularly useful for synchronizing two or more clips at a specific point. For example, you can use a marker to label the frame where a door slams and then snap a sound effect to that marker. You can use markers to flag a specific location in a clip with editing notes or other descriptive information. When you add chapter markers to specific points in your project, viewers can use the markers to quickly jump to those points in the movie after it’s been exported or burned to DVD or Blu-ray disc. You can also use markers for task management.
Markers are classified as standard markers (blue), chapter markers (orange), to-do items (red), or completed to-do items (green).
so, maybe, this indicates some forthcoming features in iMovie (wohooo, speculation!)?
(iMovieX indicates some forthcoming features of next FCPX.1… but this is another story)
There's one meaningful use, which comes to my mind:
    Edit to the beat:
While your project is playing, you can 'tap' onto the M key…
and not just 'per beat', but more like 'dancing', highlights, pauses, drama…
In a second step, you can use the dots, to find the perfect point for edit.
