Every single day, Firefox crashes and sometimes in the most inopertune time. This is very frustrating as some of the times I can not go back in and correct what I was not able to do due to your site crashing. What is causing this problem and what are you doing to fix it? Should I just go back to Internet Explorer?

It's a Web scam that only affects your browser, and only temporarily. There are several ways to recover.
1. Some of those scam pages can be dismissed very easily. Press the key combination command-W to close the tab or window. A huge box will pop up. Press the return key and both the box and the page will close. If that doesn't happen, continue.
2. Press and hold command-W. You may hear repeating alert sounds. While holding the keys, click the OK button in the popup. A different popup may appear, which you can cancel out of as usual.
3. From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
and uncheck the box marked Enable JavaScript. Leave the preferences dialog open.
Close the malicious window or tab.
Re-enable JavaScript and close the preferences dialog.
4. If the Preferences menu item is grayed out, quit Safari. Force quit if necessary. Relaunch it by holding down the shift key and clicking its icon in the Dock. None of the windows and tabs will reopen.
After closing the malicious page, from the menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
to get rid of any cookies or other data left by the server. Open your Downloads folder and delete anything you don't recognize.

Whether I am responding to an email or composing a new one I have not been able to consistently send emails since I downloaded FF. Once or twice I managed to send one but do not know why they went through since typically do not get past the technical problem message. The error always says there is a technical problem but does not specify the actual problem.

Thanks for the input. I was finally able to find some test conditions that duplicated the problem, and it is either that or some other out-of-spec diffraction distortion. So I sent it off for repair.

Have you actually compared what you sent (in your Sent Mail Folder) with what is in the reply?
Note that Auto Correction can often change what you think that you are typing.
Are you sure that the return message has your original message intact and not edited by the recipient?
Bottom line: if the recipient does a simple reply to your message with the original message attached the system is not going to edit your message.

There are several possible causes for this issue. Take each of the following steps until it's resolved.
1. Follow the instructions in this support article.
2. Reset the System Management Controller.
3. If you're using a Bluetooth trackpad, investigate potential sources of interference, including USB 3 devices.
4. A swollen battery in a MacBook Pro or Air can impinge on the trackpad from below and cause erratic behavior. If you have trouble clicking the trackpad, this is likely the reason. The battery must be replaced.
5. There's a report that a (possibly defective) Thunderbolt Ethernet adapter can cause the built in trackpad of a MacBook to behave erratically. If you're using such an adapter, disconnect it and test.
6. There's also a report of erratic cursor movements caused by an external display that was connected but not turned on.
7. If none of the above applies, or if you have good reason to think your computer is being controlled remotely, remove it from the network by turning off Wi-Fi, disconnecting from a Bluetooth network link, and unplugging the Ethernet cable or USB modem, whichever is applicable. I rarely record automation, and when I do I never do a second pass (usually hand draw automation in) but I have had problems with Logic 7 no longer playing back automation. I've been told its fixed in Logic 8, but in the mean time here is a work around.
Select the region where the automation is (if there is no region, create one using the pencil tool and expand it to cover all automation) and go OPTIONS menu -> TRACK AUTOMATION -> "Move current track data to region data." Now everything should play back as expected. If you want to edit the data, simply select "move current region data to track data" and edit away.
For some reason, Logic 7 will sometimes stop reading track automation data, but I have yet to have it stop reading region automation. This is a bug, and according to other users, has been fixed in Logic 8. Hope this helps until we eventually upgrade

Firefox version 5.0 has a separate Twitter tab built into this web browser. However, today I have been having problems with launching the Firefox browser. An error message appears, after attempting to launch the browser, which states that the Firefox browser is already running, and that the process needs to be closed or that the computer needs to be restarted. After restarting my computer and launching the Firefox browser, I noticed that the built-in Twitter tab ( near the upper left-hand corner of the browser ) was missing. I'm pretty sure that Firefox version 5.0 has a built-in Twitter tab. Whatever the case may be, I downloaded Firefox version 5.0.1 this morning. I learned that if you right-click on a tab, that a menu box will appear on the screen. One of the options in that menu box is "Pin as App Tab." If I go to the http://twitter.com web site, and then right-click on the corresponding Twitter tab, and then select "Pin as App Tab," then a small Twitter tab will appear to the right of the orange-and-white "Firefox" tab ( in the upper left-hand corner of the Firefox web browser screen ). Then I can click on that Twitter tab and go directly to the http://twitter.com web site. However, when I exit the Firefox version 5.0.1 web browser, and then immediately re-launch it, the separate Twitter tab is gone. Is there any way, within Firefox version 5.0.1, that I can make the separate Twitter tab permanent after selecting "Pin as App Tab"? Thank you for your assistance regarding this matter.
