What is the list of file prefixes that make a file appear first in the finder?
For example, files and folders whose names start with "A" will appear before files whose names start with "B",
but what about a list of characters for files and folders before the letter "A"?
I'm doing some file organisation, and I need certain things to appear at the top of the list.
I have noticed that the character-prefixes "0" and "(" seem to make things appear before "A"
I would like a complete list if there is one available.

Pretty much any number or a space character. Punctuation does too, in theory, but I'd advise to limit it to hyphens and underscores. Periods are OK in the middle of file names but you won't be able to start a file name with one at the Finder level since that would actually hide the file.

What is Invoice List
The invoice list lets you create, at specified time intervals or on specific dates, a list of billing documents (invoices, credit and debit memos) to send to a particular payer.
The billing documents in the invoice list can be single or collective documents (collective invoices combine items from more than one delivery).
The standard version of the SAP R/3 System includes two types of invoice lists:
for invoices and debit memos
for credit memos
If you wish, you can process invoices, debit memos, and credit memos at the same time. The system automatically creates a separate invoice list for credit memos.
A payer may be the head office of a buying group, which pays all the invoices for goods that are shipped to individual members. The group payer takes responsibility for paying the invoice lists and then collecting payment from the individual members. In return for these services, the group payer usually earns a factoring or del credere discount.
Depending on the tax structure of the payer's country, the payer may be liable to pay taxes on factoring discounts that he earns. In Germany, for example, factoring discounts are taxed at the standard rate of 15%. During invoice list processing, you can reimburse the payer in advance for this tax liability by creating special condition records.

Ranked lists
You can use the APPEND statement to create ranked lists in standard tables. To do this, create an empty table, and then use the statement:
APPEND <wa> TO <itab> SORTED BY <f>.
The new line is not added to the end of the internal table <itab>. Instead, the table is sorted by field <f> in descending order. The work area <wa> must be compatible with the line type of the internal table. You cannot use the SORTED BY addition with sorted tables.
When you use this technique, the internal table may only contain as many entries as you specified in the INITIAL SIZE parameter of the table declaration. This is an exception to the general rule, where internal tables can be extended dynamically. If you add more lines than specified, the last line is discarded. This is useful for creating ranked lists of limited length (for example "Top Ten"). You can use the APPEND statement to generate ranked lists containing up to 100 entries. When dealing with larger lists, it is advisable to sort tables normally for performance reasons.

The program inserts three lines into the internal table ITAB using the APPEND statement and the SORTED BY addition. The line with the smallest value for the field COL2 is deleted from the table, since the number of lines that can be appended is fixed through the INITIAL SIZE 2 addition in the DATA statement.
SQL query is used for the fetching data from different tables,while report painter is used to display the data in some format.

In simple terms:
1. Picking List - List of materials that need to be picked and is given to the person given the picking
2. Packing List - List stating which materials are packed in which box, and is given to the Customer
3. Invoice List - A list of invoices that is given to a third-party for payment collection from customers.

Firefox "stops responding messages" frequently + not sure what the plugins listed under updated ones as "unknown plugin" and " ?research "mean

hi there...
1) firefox has been giving me problems for several months where it just stops responding, meaning I click on one of the 5 tabs open then it gives me msg "firefox not responding", also happens when I am working with xsitepro website builder development software stops me from moving around the xsitepro program and firefox again says firefox not responding
Note: However, when firefox gives me "not responding msg" it responds after a few minutes and gives me access the tab i clicked on but then happens again when i try to click on another tab
2) went to a page that firefox listed plugins http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ and there are several plugins listed that I do not know what it means below the ones it says it is updated, those are listed as " unknown plugin and ?research "
Not sure what does this mean as far as those plugins that are listed unknown and research. I did a search to see if I could find those plugins under addons but did not see them listed so are these plugins being used and installed on my firefox browswer and if so why are they hidden if they are installed or are they not installed at all

You're not the first person to report that the sessionstore.js or recovery.js file stopped updating with new activity. However, it's rare enough that I can't recall whether we have gotten to the bottom of it in a previous thread. I'll see whether I can search it up.
Meanwhile, someone might be able to come up with a way to watch for problems and extract some debug information, but I'm not personally familiar with such tools.

How do I remove old computers from the list they have my ipod linked to.

You can't. Have you reached the limit of 5 authorized computers? If so, the authorizations aren't referring to what computers an iPod has been linked to, but instead refers to computers that have been authorized to play and sync your iTunes purchased content.

[CS3] What is Story List.xml?

This file is created whenever an assignment (.inca) is opened from InCopy and contains story UIDs and names, but I can't find it documented anywhere. It seems to control which stories are visible in the incopy story editor but occasionally it will be missing stories that are part of the assignment so they will appear to have vanished when the assignment is re-opened.
Without knowing more about this file I'm having trouble finding out if this is due to something wrong in my plug-in or something else. What determines when a Story List.xml file is created and which stories are included?

Because the data for an RSS is usually cross domain, a normal SprySataSet cannot be used.
Arnout Kazemier then created the SpryYQLDataSet which is based on the Yahoo Query Language (YQL). You can see his announcement here http://forums.adobe.com/message/2822388#2822388
Using the SpryYQLDataSet is the same as using any of the other SpryDataSets.as can be deducted from my online sample.
The main items to look out for are

The rest is like using the data from any SpryDataSet. I have used the master/detail setup, but any form of output is possible. Do remember though that not all RSS feeds are the same. My example was originally based on a feed from another domain, but they stopped their RSS feed. I then had to quickly find somewhere else to get the feed and it turns out that the information is slightly different, hence the blank lines in the example.
The main thing is to extract the info cross domain, using the above or similar.

What's Empty List Good For?

I'm having a hard time understanding the point of an empty list. The following code doesn't let me add anything to the list:

So, if you can't use the empty list, why have it in the first place? Why not just say

It's useful for return values from methods where the caller is not expecting a modifiable list.
