What is credit management how should we tell

hi
gurus my question is what is credit management.
2) If one customer exceeds his credit limit the sales order is blocked in the enduser  system.  WHO will release that order.  Whether enduser called his higher authority by telephone or mailed or it is automatically knows by the superior means who is working in the managerial level working in n.s.o.
thanks in advance

hi
The customer’s credit limit is assigned to the customer by going to the Logistics overview screen, Accounting, Financial accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change.
A credit control area is an organizational unit that is comprised of one or more company codes.
Create a credit control area and assign it to a company code in the Enterprise structure under financial accounting.
A customer’s risk category is a grouping category that controls the credit checks when automatic credit control takes place.
In SD credit check can occur in only three places: sales order, delivery and goods issue.
The system can use a simple credit check, static credit check or a dynamic credit check.
The simple credit check is set at the document type level e.g., sales order, delivery etc.
Simple Credit Check
Assign credit limit check to the sales doc type:
A – warning message
B – Error message
C – Delivery block
D – Automatic credit control
SAP enables static and dynamic credit checks so that a sales order for a good customer with a low risk credit rating is created and a sales order for a high risk customer with a high risk rating for the same doc type is blocked.
Automatic credit control divides the sales doc types, delivery doc types, and goods issue into specific credit groups.
An outcome procedure is defined using the credit group, the customer’s risk category along with the credit control area.
Risk categories are defined in the FI module.
Create the different credit groups e.g., for sales order, delivery, goods issue.
Assign the credit groups to the sales and delivery doc types.
Now define the settings for automatic credit control -> combination of credit control area, customer’s risk category, and credit group.
All that remains is the assignment of the risk category to the customer master record. This occurs in Finance by going to the Logistics overview screen -> Accounting, Financial Accounting, Accounts receivable, Master records, Credit management, Change or FD32.
The static credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer.
The dynamic credit check is a check comparing the credit limit assigned to the customer to the total value of open sales orders not yet delivered, plus the total value of open deliveries not yet invoiced, plus the total value of open billing documents not yet passed on to accounting, plus the total value of billing documents that have been passed on to accounting, but which have not been paid by the customer. The dynamic credit check has an attached time period that states that the system is not to include sales orders in the total of outstanding items created after the specified time period.
The credit relevant data is updated into an information structure, where it is accessed and updated. Thus each automatic credit control must be assigned an update group. The system allows for no update, and update group 000012, 000015 and 000018. However, update group 000012 is thorough and used in most businesses.
To view the customer’s credit master sheet, proceed from the logistics screen and go to accounting, financial accounting, accounts receivable, environment, credit management, check, credit master sheet [F.35].

  • Credit Management: How to include back orders value in credit exposure?

    Hello,
We have to have credit management implemented for some sales order types.
Credit exposure is working fine with normal sales orders.
But credit exposure is not taking into consideration the value of backorders which are present prior to credit management was implemented (with horizon period of 2 months).
Please let me know how we can include the value of back orders in credit exposure?
Thanks in advance for your answer.

  • What is ALERT Management.how to use it?

what is ALERT Management. what is it's use.how to do ALERT Management?

    HI
Alerts within XI give us a simple way to monitor only those errors that we want to and send alert messages to different people depending on the alert category.
Alert configuration is used to have the system inform you of errors during message processing.
By using the Alert Framework, central monitoring can be provided with all errors reported during message processing in ABAP and Java. This enables an improved reaction to such errors in both the ABAP runtime and the Java-based Adapter Engine. For this purpose, the Alert Framework is provided with rules based on certain events and on information from the header of the message protocol. These rules determine whether alerts are send or not.
    Alert Configuration:
    1) An Alert is a notification informing its recipients that a critical or very important situation has arisen. The
situation is as severe that an action must be taken immediately in order to resolve the situation. The
system recognizes the situation and sends the Alert.
    2) We use the Alert Configuration to have the system inform you of errors during message processing. we
can receive the Alert by e-mail, fax, or SMS.
    3) To configure your Alerts, proceed as follows:
    a) Create the Alert Categories that we want to use in our Alert Rules.
    b) Create the Alert Rules in which we want to use our Alert Categories
    4) An Alert is an instance of an Alert Category
    5) Alert Categories can be defined by applications or customers using the Alert Category definition
environment, which is accessed in Transaction Code ALRTCATDEF
    6) The Structure of Alert Category is defiened by the following
    a) Technical key (language-independent) for identification purposes
    b) Description (language-dependent)
    c) Classification
    d) Priority
    e) Maximum number of deliveries. (This applies to delivery to a destination other than the alert
    inbox.)
    f) Expiry time (in minutes) after which the alert is deleted
    g) Escalation recipient to whom the alert is sent if it is not confirmed by any of its recipients
    h) Tolerance time before escalation
    i) Short text, long text, and title
The title is used as mail title, fax subject, and alert title in the inbox. The long text is used as
mail/fax body and the long text view in the inbox. The short text is used for pager and SMS.
    j) Container for variable definition if variables are to be used in the texts, or for other application-
    specific attributes

  • Iphone 4s won't turn back on no matter what I do. How should I fix it?

My iPhone today randomly turned off with about 15% left. I assumed it was just out of battery and plugged it in. After about 20 minutes there were still no signs of life and it wouldn't even give the low battery signal. So i plugged it into my computer. Still nothing. I switched chargers and tried on the wall and computer. It's been left charging for a few hours but nothing will turn it back on. When it's plugged into my computer and I go to iTunes, there is no recognition of my phone. Does anyone know what's wrong or what I can do? I leave for vacation early tomorrow.
Also, for extra, my sleep button has been broken for about 6 months so I use that other button to put it to sleep. I usually turn it on by just holding the home button once i plug it in but that obviously has done nothing.
    Please try to help me.

Usually you would do a reset, by holding down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release.
Since you have a broken sleep I don't see any other options .

  • In credit management how you process Post Dated Cheque or Demand Draft ?

Haii Friends Please share your ideas to work on this process.

Though you have registered with SCN couple of months back, I am not sure, whether you have gone through the SCN rules which you can see to your right screen once you login.
The most important point here is avoid posting your query in one line and expects members are in your shoes and understood your requirement.  You have to explain in detail and most importantly, before posting, you should have made efforts to search the forum or Google it for the relevant topic.  Spoon feeding is definitely not encouraged.
    Better you go through this
Asking Good Questions in the SCN Discussion Spaces will help you get Good Answers
After putting efforts to search and still if you dont get any details, post in Financial forum as this is not the right place to ask financial related query.

  • Credit management: how to release all sales order after credit blocking

    Hi,
Is there a way to release all sales orders that have been blocked (for credit limit or late open items) first and for which invoices have been then  paid.
That can be done manually with transaction VKM1 but I would like to know if there is any way I could that for all my invoices in the same time and for all my customers?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Ronan

    Try using transaction code VKM4.

  • Urgent : Credit Management: How to find open Deliverieies for Payer?

In credit master of a perticular customer, We have open delivery value.I want to find out those open deliveries of that customer.
I tried with VL06O transaction which gives the open deliveries for perticular sold to Party. But the value from the credit master and list of outbound deliveries differs?

    hi mangesh,
try t-code SARP, put SD01- for sales and dist.-----> credit ctrl> choose delivery----> the system does not give the option to choose the sold to party. you will have to run the whole report and take it on excel for analysis.

  • How do I tell my Macbook to not look for Shared drives?

Our internet connection has been slow at best and drops altogether frequently. I wondered if our old Base Station was to blame, so bought a $39 Belkin router yesterday. The speed improvement was instant and striking!
But now in Finder I see a list of Shared devices in the pane on the left that I have no idea where they are coming from, other than perhaps they are other customers of the isp we use.
I don't want my MacBook wasting time and energy looking for other people's computers over the internet connection, if that is what is happening. How can I tell it to stop that?

    Follow Camelot's advice.
In addition, some routers control NAT services via whether or not you enable the DHCP server in the router.  You should have it enabled.  Some routers actually have a separate control for NAT server, if yours does it should be enabled.
With respect to your Mac looking for other computers with shared services, it does not work that way.  Rather the other computers broadcast their availability, and your Mac sees that.  You Mac is not polling, it is just listening.
And whether or not you are broadcasting availability of services on your Mac is controlled by System Preferences -> Sharing.  If all are disabled, then you are not broadcasting anything.
Regardless, you need to figure out why you are seeing other services if you do not have any in your own home.  So follow Camelot's advice.

  • Can someone explain what DHCP is and how I do I connect to WiFi  hotspot?

Can someone explain how a wireless network/router with an internet connection allows computers with a wireless card to connect to the internet? For instance, In an internet cafe with WiFi, how does my macbook get the IP address for the ISP that the cafe uses to allow me to open a webpage with Safari? What is DHCP and how should I set my internet preferences to allow me to use a network other than my own.
The reason I ask so many questions is that I can connect to the internet with my Airport Express base station network at home but not in my local WiFi cafe. Can see the network but not connect.

Most Internet Cafes utilize DHCP to dynamically provide a wireless client with an IP address for that session. DHCP is a protocol used by networked computers (clients) to obtain IP addresses and other parameters such as the default gateway, subnet mask, and IP addresses of DNS servers from a DHCP server. It facilitates access to a network because these settings would otherwise have to be made manually for the client to participate in the network.
You Mac's AirPort, in turn, is set up to be a DHCP client by default. This allows your Mac to accept the dynamically provided IP address information from the Internet Cafe's DHCP server.
The reason I ask so many questions is that I can connect to the internet with my Airport Express base station network at home but not in my local WiFi cafe.
It sounds like the AirPort settings that your Mac is using is no longer at their default settings...and my be the reason you cannot connect to the Internet at the Cafe...or, the Cafe has additional settings required. I suggest that you check with the Administrator of the particular Internet Cafe you're having trouble connecting with to find out what settings are necessary to use their wireless network.
A typical AirPort is set up as follows:
System Preferences > Network > Show > Network Port Configurations
    - Verify that AirPort is "On" (checked)
    - Verify that AirPort is at the top of the list. If it isn't, you can drag it to the top.
Systems Preferences > Network > Show > AirPort
    AirPort tab
    - By default, join: Automatic
    TCP/IP tab
    - Configure IPv4: Using DHCP
    - Configure IPv6: Automatically or Off
    Proxies tab
    - Configure Proxies: Manually
    - Select a proxy server to configure: <All proxies should be unchecked unless you specifically require a proxy for Internet access.>
    - Exclude simple hostnames (unchecked)
    - Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains: <leave blank>
    - Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV) (checked)

  • How can I tell what is "Auto Launching"

    User's (me) tech background:
Fairly technical user here, but getting pretty rusty. In a past life (late '90s) I was a network administrator as well as server admins for NT 4, Novell (up to 4.11), AIX, and HP-UX servers. Used to be really good at a command prompt ($ or #) in AIX and HP-UX as well as MS DOS. I do have ROOT enabled on my Macs and I am not afraid to use it. However, I know how severe the consequences can be (trashed a customer's AIX server once using a -R switch in the root directory), so I am extremely cautious and must be confident of the instruction. Can probably fix most anything with some guidance........
Here is the problem........ I have recently developed an error on boot, say within the last couple of weeks, where it tells me that some Vista application won't run because VM Ware will not initialize. The problem is VM Ware is not loaded on this computer (15" MBP model 8.2, i7 processor, 16MB of RAM, OS 10.7.4........ bought as a "refurb", never had a problem, have used this workstation for several months now). Boot Camp is not configured on this machine either. Nothing is in the Dock that would knowingly trigger this. When I go into System Information, I find nothing set as a "Startup Item" (screen shot attached) , making me think that I am looking in the wrong place. Where should I be looking?
Interesting enough, when I go to System Information, and look under "Applications", I do see a lot of Vista items, including apps from an older MBP that I do not connect to (on same network, they have "rights" to connect, I just never do as there is nothing on there I need). I have attached a screen shot of this as well.
Please, someone, can you give me some advice here?
How can I tell where this auto loading of this Vista app is coming from
How do I get rid of it
    Why did it happen "suddenly"?
Can I go into System Info/Applications and delete any Vista or VM Ware apps?
If I cannot do this via "System Info" can I remove (rm OR mv) the files from whichever system directory stores this data?
This is puzzling and quite concerning. I would be deeply grateful if there is a "Yoda" out there that knows how to fix this.......
    Thanks in advance,
    Bill

Managing your data usage is very important Bag02231958. I would like to thank ttipgem for the great suggestion to see what is using data on your phone. However, when you access the internet, social media apps, stream data, videos, music, etc. that uses data on your phone. Central Configuration Manager
Desktop Intelligence Report Server (Start > All programs > Business Objects XI Release 2 > BusinessObjects Enterprise > Central Configuration Manager).
    EXE Version Tab
    1. Browse to the drive where you installed Desktop Intelligence. For example:
    \Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_86
    2. Right-click the busobj.exe file, click Properties then click the Version tab.

  • How can I tell if 8gb of RAM is enough or if I should buy 16gb?

How can I tell if 8gb of RAM is enough or if I should buy 16gb?

It depends on what you want to keep on your device.  Figure that the average SD movie is near 1gb.  I have 393 songs on my iPad, and the space used for that is 2.73gb.  Quality songs (higher bitrate) will take up more space.  As you cannot add space to the device, it would be prudent to get the larger storage option, if you can afford it.  Otherwise, you will have to manage what you put on the device.  Also, keep in mind that if you plan on taking photos on the device, they are one of the biggest memory hogs.  If you regularly import the photos to your computer, this won't be a problem.
