I'm assuming you have followed "IS-U specific set-up and load guide for business partner ". Make sure you have maintained ISU table T077D entry. For account group that you are maintaining for replication, you need to mention CRM role (sold-to-party) in this table.

Crm -isu integration , regulated scenarion

hello all ,
we are in process of crm isu integration for regulated scenario .
crm 2007 / ecc 6 isu
currently
bp and BA are getting replicated .
we are in process of replicating technical master data .
however i need to know
as we are in regulated market in india , isu guys are not creating/ using pod ,
my questions is whether we can manage without pod , and still do move in and other process from crm.

i am successful to download , technical objects from isu to crm ,
however not able to do so from crm to isu .
i have following doubts
1) technical data upload thru contract or individual ?
i have done settings for individual .
2)when i go and create technical object from crm ui
i get following message in ui , however data is getting saved ,but was not getting tranfered to isu.

"I" transactions for CRM-ISU connection

I am trying to further restrict my standard role that we use for the CRM-ISU connection. I have everything working except I have to add a seperate S_TCODE object with I* in order for the connection from CRM to ISU to work. Does anyone know which specific "I" transactions this would be using? Considering there are 9,204 of them, I would just leave it with an asterisk but mgmt wants it more restricted. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Andy

What exceptions crm on demand throws?

what exceptions does crm on demand throw when it encounters errors? i want to catch it in Java but i don't know what it throws.
in my case, i issued an Execute method and it returned saying it can't process since it has more than 20 objects. I want to catch that exception but i don't know what exceptions to catch.
Do you know where I can find out what exceptions crm on demand throws when it encounters errors?

When we talk of CRM Technical, Its ABAP OOPS with XML, HTMLB and some Java knowledge.
Fir CRM technical, its important to have ABAP with OOPS concept.

Hi ,
CRM ABAP is somewhat similar to R/3 only . But you can say that CRM is more of a Object oriented ABAP.
Secondaly there are few concepts such as
BDT ( Business Data Toolset)
EEWB ( Easy Enhancement Workbench)
External list management.
These are upto my knowledge .

Displaying ERP Sales orders in CRM ISU BOL Tree

Hi,
I need to display ERP Sales orders of a BP in the CRM Web UI ISU BOL Tree.
We are using CRM 7.0 EHP3. The Genil Component for ISU BOL Tree is IUICALL.
Is there any relation/object which can give the list of ERP Sales orders for a BP.
I have tried with Genil Component ERP and query ERPQORDER, but it's not returning any orders for the given BP even the orders are available in ERP.
Can you please suggest whether I need to do any configuration wrt RFC set up to get ERP data ?
Also please suggest what are the prerequisites to be followed to access the ERP Sales Order data from CRM.

Hi Jayasri,
Unfortunately there is no relation from BP to the ERP sales orders afaik. So the tree node implementation class is the place where you can execute the query.
The RFC destination stored in CL_CRM_ERP_IL=>GV_RFC is determined in method
CL_CRM_IC_ERP_SERVICE=>CLASS_CONSTRUCTOR(). Here in line 9 the current ERP sales order profile is determined (based on the business role) an in line 12 the profile data is read from the database (and stored in class attribute GS_ERPPROF-RFCDEST). Please set a break-point in this method to check why the destination is not retrieved correctly.
A possible reason is that your business role might not have the correct profile assignment or that the business role profile is not maintained at the point of time where CL_CRM_IC_ERP_SERVICE=>CLASS_CONSTRUCTOR() is invoked (like in the test environment or in BOL browser).
If the RFC connection is not available or the connected system is not valid ERP system (function SLS_LORD_MAINTAIN_EXIT is a prerequisite in ERP), the RFC destination is not considered. You can set break-points in methods CL_CRM_IC_ERP_SERVICE=>GET_RFC_DEST() and CL_CRM_ERP_IL=>CLASS_CONSTRUCTOR() to analyze the validation.

CRM/ISU: Notes (or Texts) at Connection Object Level and replication

Hi there,
I am trying to replicate to CRM (and back to ISU) the Text objects linked against the Connection Object in ISU.
The idea is to have two texts area in the Connection Object in the WebIC that can be replicated back to the related ISU's ones.
The requirement is to replicate those texts (multiline texts, textarea, notes) linked against the Connection Object from CRM to ISU.
The connection object in CRM is a "casted" Individual Object that can be linked against Notes (or Texts), isn't it?
So the IObjects can have a Notes Assignment Block.
The problem is that from an WebIC point of view the Notes Assignment block obviously are not shown.
Have someone of you done something like that before? Any idea?

Product change problem dates CRM-ISU

Hello experts,
We have a problem here with the producto change functionality. I will try to explain the problem
As many of you already know, when you execute a product change from CRM, the old position date get expired and the new position start date begins the next day. The data is replicated to ISU and the EVERH is updated (old position date e.g expired 13.08.2009 ). After that, in ISU the information is sent to the distribution company to accept the modification. Once the information is back from the distribution company, the new position is created in the EVERH (e.g start date 23.08.2009) and replicated to CRM.
The problem is that the distribution company takes, for instace, 10 days to give the information back to ISU and therefore a gap date comes up between the end date of the old position (e.g 13.08.2009)and the date that the new position is activated (e.g 23.08.2009). Many errors occurs in ISU due to this gap date
We would like to avoid the date update in ISU when the data comes from CRM, to keep the old position date open in ISU until the activation is accepted. Somebody knows how could I manage not to send the old date to ISU in CRM?

What is CRM object BSPWDBP_HEAD_MAIN?

This object has high dialog response time in our system but I can't determine what type of object this is. There are no notes in service marketplace or SDN regarding this object.

I am assuming that you are running CRM 2007 or 2006s?
If yes try to go to transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB and open component BP_HEAD_MAIN. From there try to click the "test" button. This will take you to the CRM WebClient and more specifically to the search screen for accounts. So perhaps the object you are referring to is in fact the search for accounts.
