What is current version of Reader 8?

The updater informed me that there is an update from version 8.1.2 to 8.1.3.
So I went to Adobe's web site and downloaded 8.1.3.
I also saw an 8.1.4 and an 8.1.5.
What do I need to install?
Which files?

Install update 8.1.4 and 8.1.5.

  • How do I know what the current version of fcpx w/o going to app store?

How do I know what the current version of fcpx without going to the app store? I'm hoping this is obvious and easy but I can't see it yet.

Thanks Neil, and thanks for figuring out that I wanted the general answer, not just the version right now.
But here's the question I should have asked: How do I know when there is a new version of FCPX so I can update right away? Was there an email or alert I missed, or do I just keep checking ?

  • What is current version of Ilustrator for Mac.

I have 17.0.2 installed. I see references here of 17.1. In my user folder "Library/Application Support/Adobe/AAMUpdater/1.0/Data/AdobeIllustrator17-mul/17.3" I see this.
The CC app is so screwed up you never know for sure what the current version of software is.
This morning I find a 14.2 update for PS, a 9.2 undate for ID but no update for IL.
So what is the current version version of IL.

Why can't you just post updates like you used to do instead of trying to depend on a half a$$ working app like CC.
If the updates are posted where? Give me a link.
We were receiving some requests for these, readers asking us to post the individual CC product updates (as Adobe used to do with older releases)...
So we put together two complete patch download lists ourselves with all updates for all Creative Cloud apps – here they are and hope they help:

  • I can't fix my current version of Reader 8.1 and I can't seem to be able to replace it.

My current version 8.0 of reader keeps blowing up whenever I try to use a PDF function. It kicks me out of the net when I try to call up any data in a PDF format.  I tried several times to install a newer version but kept triping over a msg "Action File Not Found".  I tried the solution listed online for that and drew a
blank as well. Now all I get is the lame  "Encountered Problems".
I have managed to get as far on the install routine of retriving the download and I tell the program to
run and continue to get thrown out.
What I'm looking for here is anyone who has gone thru this and broken thru the online standard canned solutions and got something that worked from a "live" expert.

You need to uninstall your current Reader, then download and run the offline installer from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

  • What is current version iPhoto for Snow Leopard?

What is the current version of iPhoto for Snow Leopard?  I have used iPhoto ever since 10.6.8 was installed --use Software Update all the time, my current iPhoto says it's v. 8.3.1.  Now, suddenly, when I try to open iPhoto, messages says : " The photo library needs to be upgraded to work with this version of iPhoto. Your photo library will not be readable by previous versions of iPhoto after the upgrade. The upgrade process may take several minutes depending on the number of photos in the library.  (choices are)  Quit - - Upgrade"
I am fearful to click the upgrade because I have assumed iPhoto was up-to-date for this OS 10.6.8.  Fearful, because I envision losing the whole iPhoto library.   I was in our local reseller/retailer yesterday and was encouraged  to "just go ahead and click it!"  but tho' I'm not a nerd, I need to understand what's going on here !  WIll appreciate any thoughtful counsel . . .

9.2.3, which is part of iLife '11.

  • Whats the latest version adobe reader.

Whats the latest adobe reader version.
    From where can we download.

Latest version of Reader which is available is 9.3.4.
There are two things: Adobe Reader and Adobe Acrobat which are both different products of Adobe. One is free and other is paid.
Adobe Acrobat is software designed to view, create, manipulate and manage files in Adobe's Portable Document Format (PDF)
Adobe Reader is used to view, print and few other things.
So Adobe Reader is used only for reading a pdf file and is free, whereas Acrobat is a paid software with many additional functionalities.

  • What is current version of itunes

I am trying to back up my 4G iphone bf getting the new 5G. My Mac is saying I need the new version of Itunes 10.6.3. I then go to my Mac to update. It says I'm updated with current version -10.6.1. HELP!

If you're on a Leopard system, try updating to iTunes version 10.6.3.25. (That should help with the iPhone 4S running iOS 6.)
A .dmg installer for iTunes version 10.6.3.25 for Mac OS can be found at the following download page on the Apple website:
    iTunes 10.6.3
Unfortunately, that's not going to be enough to run an iPhone 5, though (as Demo has already pointed out).

  • What is Current Version?

Can someone clarify the exact RULES for how "Current version" in the Document list for a functional location/equipment is determined?
    Background:
When listing documents for a functional location (IL03), it is not necessarily the CV version that appears when selecting "Current Version" radio button.
    Tests (PRD/TSQ)
    My findings:
A document must have a "Valid from " date in the past to become a "Current version (Tests 1 and 3).
If CV version does not exist, or it's "Valid from" date is in the future, another version (if such exists) will show as "Current Version", regardless of it's status (Maybe the most recent version?) (Test 1 and 3)
If multiple document versions, including a CV, have "Valid from" dates in the past, the CV becomes "Current Version" (Test 2)
    Test details
Open Functional location BD/EKOK/60 03042 in IL03 and select "Documents" tab. Alter between "All versions" and "Current version"
    Test 1
    Documents BD/EKOK-FA-P-10260 - parts 001-004. .
PRD: Only CV version exist for these. None of these show as "Current Version". "Valid from" date from change number 500000004832 is 12/31/2009 (Future!)
TSQ: The parts are here in IC or AS status. No CV. Initially same future "Valid from" date as in PRD, but I created alternative date 01/01/2009 for Change number 500000004832, and linked parts 001 and 002 to this date. Then these two show as current version for FL BD/EKOK/60 03042, although they have IC and AS status! (Alternative date overrides default "valid from" date on change master).
    Test 2:
    Document BD/60S07474, part 003:
PRD: Version 01. Status CV, valid from 24.06.2003. Version 02. Status IC, valid from 31/12/2009 (Future!). CV version show as current version.
TSQ:  Same as in PRD, except as I change "Valid from" date for version 02 to 01/01/2009 as in test 1. CV version still show as current version.
    Test 3:
    Document BD/EKOK-VA-P-00158, part 001
PRD: Version 01. STATUS VS, valid from 18.10.2001. Version 02. STATUS CV, valid from 31.12.2009 (Future). Version 01 (VS!) shows as "Current Version"

Thanks for your help.  We also found this:
The "current version" option on the Functional Location / Equipment document list does not have the same meaning has the DMS "CV-Current Version" status code.  It's just a method that tries to indicate which version of the DIR is most relevant.  If a version has a CV or CO status code (a "released" status) then it will be the "current version" (unless ECM Vald-From date is in the future), but it doesn't have to have one of those status codes to be listed as a "current version".
If a version doesn't have the CV/CO status code, then the "current version" is the version with the most current ECM Valid-From dateu2026 However:
    1) If there are multiple versions with the same ECM Valid-From date, then the most recently created version becomes the "current version" if none of the versions are in a released-type of status.  For example, if a DIR has two versions and they both have the same ECM, then the version who was created most recently is the "current version".
    2) Versions that have an ECM Valid-From date in the future will not be considered a "current version".
    3) If a version has status code PV (or VS) and none of the other versions have a released-type status code (CV or CO), but the PV's ECM Valid-From date is greater than the newer version's ECM Valid-From date, then the PV will be listed as the "current version".
There might be other logic rules, but that's all I could figure out.
    Again, many thanks...
    Scott

  • My current version adobe reader is not reading pdf's on my mac

Why would my adobe reader not "read" my pdf's on my mac?  It just stopped a couple of days ago.  It works on my PC, and on adobe online, so it's not the documents.

I actually deleted my app and downloaded it again today.  So the recent
version whatever it is.  I have iMac Lion 10.7.5? (on Lenovo laptop now).
early 2011 model without airplay mirroring so didn't update to Mountain
Lion and I heard recent free Maverick update has bugs so didn't update to
    that either.

  • What is current version of WGM?

The download package for Server Admin Tools 10.6.4 appears to install WGM 10.6.3. Confusing, and frustrating...Apple says the WGM app within SAT 10.6.4 would fix an error that was screwing up multiple shortnames, leading to mail disappointment, of which I'm having a lot.
After downloading SAT 10.6.4 and installing, it seems I still have WGM 10.6.3. Is that correct?

I can confirm that WGM on my 10.6.4 server is version 10.6.3; but this doesn't mean the shortname bug hasn't been fixed (it may be in the DirectoryService daemon that WGM talks to, not in WGM itself).
Interestingly, the only one of the server admin tools with a different version number between 10.6.3 and 10.6.4 is System Image Utility, but two others (Server Admin and Server Preferences) actually have changed between the two versions.

  • What is the current version of the iPod firmware?

    Hello,
I'm currently running the "other OS" and can't get iTunes.
Could someone please tell me what the current version of the iPod firmware is? This way, I'll know whether I need to go to a Mac or PC computer to update the firmware of my 5th gen iPod. Thank you very much.

This question is now answered. I wonder if there's a webpage that will post the most current version number when the firmware changes. I guess I could keep asking every now and then. Or one of the Apple iTunes users can update all of us when iTunes lets him know that version has changed.

  • What is the current version number?

Can you tell me what the current version number for
acrobat.com is? One of my computers (XP Home SP3) shows version #
1.2.443, but I just intstalled it on another of my computers
(actually, it automatically installed with acrobat 9 I think) (this
computer has XP Pro SP3) and the version shows as 1.2.443. I also
have a third computer with version 1.1.377. So now I am really
confused...I JUST installed acrobat.com o this computer, yet it has
an older version than one of my other computers that installed it
long ago. So here are my questions:
    1. Why would they have different version numbers (especially
the one that was just installed that has a different version
    number)?
    2. What exactly is the most current version number
    3. How (or where) do I get the most current version?

    Hi Mickey71,
Thank you for trying out Acrobat.com! We hope you like it!
What you're seeing is the AIR version number, rather than the
    Acrobat.com version number.
    Mine also shows version 1.2.443
You ca get the latest Acrobat.com AIR version
    by
    clicking this link
Acrobat.com on the web, IS the most current version, right
when you visit Acrobat.com. So there is no need to go "get" the
    latest version
Since the AIR application accesses the Web Acrobat.com, it
will include most updates that make it to the Acrobat.com services.
    Hope this helps!
    Pete

  • How do I know what the current printer firmware is?

I have an HP Lazerjet 2055dn.  Its firmware version is V.37.12.IR6498.
My question is, how can I tell if this is the current version?  Is there some sort of resource on the HP support pages that says what the current version is?
    Thanks,
    Raymond Vought

    Hi,
Current version on its support site is: Version 20120615 on 23Jul2012. You can find the information on its support page (under Drivers section):

  • I have Photoshop 5.0 Limited Edition.  Can I upgrade this to a more current version for free? If so, how?

    Hi
I have loaded photoshop version 5 onto my computer in order to view a psd file, but the file is from a more up to date version and contains incompatible material.  Can I update the version 5 copy I have to a more current version so the file would work?
Would this just be a question of downloading something online or would I have to pay to upgrade?
I did try to look at the adobe upgrade section but it all seemed meant for more current versions than mine
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I have Photoshop 5.0 Limited Edition.  Can I upgrade this to a more current version for free?
    Are you being serious?
What you can do is avail yourself of the free 30 day trial period of a more current version, though.

  • [Solved] Display current version of component being updated?

Hello everyone.  I'm wondering, is it possible to get Pacman to display what the current version is of a component being updated.  It's not all that helpful saying "version 1.5.2.1" is available when I have no idea what version I am currently using.  Plus in case of boo-boos after updating and wanting to revert back, it would seem more intuitive to know what version was stable.  Is it there and I'm just missing it?

Look in /var/log/pacman.log.  It has output like:
    upgraded python (2.5.2-5 -> 2.6-1)
