What is customization in QM Module

Dear sirs,
I required information regarding customization in QM Module, in the system,
also required documents regarding the same.
B'Regds
Nagnath

when I implemented QM for a client, there were "hooks" for screen additions, etc., and a huge amount of customization.  If I recall correctly, the objects were all in function group XQQM.  But, that's been a while ago ;-)...everything may have changed by now...do you have a QM functional support specialist to lead the way?  If so, ask that person for documentation, or try SAP help.

  • What is exactly use of module pool

    hi guru.
please tell me in real time exactly what is the use of module pool programs.
    thanks.
    subhasis.

Module pools are directly created using the ABAP Editor and are introduced with the PROGRAM statement. With the exception of reporting event blocks and function modules, module pools can contain all processing blocks supported in ABAP and as many local classes as required. While they are executed, all events of the ABAP runtime environment may be triggered.
The most important technical attribute of a module pool is that it can only be controlled using screen flow logic. You must start them using a transaction code, which is linked to the program and one of its screens (initial screen). Another feature of these programs is that you must define your own screens in the Screen Painter (although the initial screen can be a selection screen).
When you start a program using a transaction code, the runtime environment starts a processor that calls the initial screen. This then calls a dialog module in the corresponding ABAP program. The remainder of the program flow can take any form. For example, the dialog module can:
    ·        return control to the screen, after which the processing passes to a subsequent screen. Each screen has a following screen, set either statically or dynamically. Screens and their subsequent screens are components of freely definable screen sequences.
    ·        call other screen sequences, selection screens or lists, from which further processing blocks in the ABAP program are started.
    ·        call other processing blocks itself, either internally or externally.
    ·        call other application programs using CALL TRANSACTION or SUBMIT.
It is appropriate to use module pools when you write dialog-oriented programs using a large number of screens whose flow logic largely determines the program flow of screen sequences.

  • What is control form function module.

    hi
what is control form function module.

    Hi Chaitanya,
The function module CONTROL_FORM can  be used to pass the control
commands to FORM THROUGH ABAP/4 PROGRAM.
    <b>Function Call</b>
    CALL FUNCTION 'CONTROL_FORM'
    EXPORTING COMMAND = ?...
    EXCEPTIONS UNOPENED =
    UNSTARTED =
    <b>Export parameters:</b>
    COMMAND
Enter the SAPscript statement you want to execute in ITF format, but without the statement paragraph attribute '/:'.
    <b>Exceptions:</b>
    UNOPENED
The current form function could not be executed, since the form output was no yet initialized using OPEN_FORM.
    UNSTARTED
    No form was opened yet.
    Possible reasons:
    >The form processing was started using OPEN_FORM without specifying a form name, but no form was opened yet using START_FORM.
    >The last used form was closed using END_FORM, but no new form was opened using START_FORM.
    >The last filled page of the current form has no subsequent page. In this case, the system automatically terminates form printing after this page. You need no explicit END_FORM call.
    >In the current form, no page contains a main window, but a text element shall be output in the main window.

  • What is diff between OPM modules, MFG Modules, discrete mfg modules, regular supply c

What is diff between OPM modules, MFG Modules, discrete mfg modules, regular supply chain modules.
As a techi guy I have worked on OM but not able to answer the difference between
    please help
    Thanks

Process and Discrete industries have some fundamental differences in their product development, materials, production procesess and planning procedures. Process industries need to deal with Variable Ingredients, By & Co-products, UOM are that are Material Specific. Multiple Recipes and Formulas are used to make a single product due to seasonality or plant equipment variations. Process industries need Lot, Grades, Potency, Shelf-life.
Manufacturing is different too...think of industries where materials are blended together like paints, or food products, beverages. Also unique is decomposition...breaking something apart, like a chicken into its components: legs, thighs, breasts etc and be able to track the costs.
The Oracle Process Manufacturing suite is capable of supporting all of these industry requirements.

  • What's the right memory module for an iMac G4 Flat panel 15-inch?

    Hello!
A new program I've recently bought requires me to expand my iMac's memory, which is currently 256 MB.
After searching the Apple Store web site, I think I've come to the conclusion that what I need is an Apple memory module called "512MB DDR266 SO-DIMM (PC2100), 200-pin". As I don't know any expert who can give me some advice, and as I'm no expert myself, could anyone please tell me if that's right?
    Thank you!
    iMac G4 Flat panel 15-inch   Mac OS X (10.4.8)

Ciao e benvenuto alle discussioni di Apple.
There are actually 3 different types of user slot installable RAM for the iMac G4 models so you'll have to check what your processor speed is (Go to  Apple Menu > About this Mac > ):
    iMac G4 15" and 17" 700 or 800MHz, PC133 144pin SODIMM.
    iMac G4 17" 1GHz, PC2100 200pin SODIMM
    iMac G4 1GHz 15" or 1.25GHz 17"/20", PC2700 200pin SODIMM.
So although I can't tell you exactly what RAM you need I can tell you that if you have a 15" screen the PC2100 is wrong.
I'd advise using Crucial memory in Europe as the prices are amongst the best and they are Mac friendly. I wouldn't recommend Apple memory; it's overpriced. I also wouldn't advise buying a cheap brand as it could cause trouble.
    Here are the fitting instructions.

  • What models have Trusted Platform Module (TPM)?

I'm in the processs of enabeling Bitlocker on my new Thinkpad Edge E531 running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. Windows seems to think the machine does not have a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) chip installed, which nowadays one would think would be pretty standard. No where in the bios does anything refer to a TPM chip, so if it has to be enabled, it's not clear how. The E531 User manual also makes no mention of TPM, which you'd think it would since it talks about disk encryption. So.... 1. Does the Thinkpad Edge E531 not have a TPM chip?2. If it does, how does one get Windows to recognize it? It is called something else in the bios?3. If it does not, can one be added? Lenovo does sell a TPM module but gives no info on what models it is for.4. And last. what models of Lenovo's present line contain a TPM chip?

Andy, I have an Erazer X510 that came with Windows 8.1 I recently purchased.  I installed 8.1 Pro Pack to be able to use Media Center and Bitlocker encryption & am having the same issue not having the ability to enable TPM, an extra security feature for encryption that was not available with standard Windows 8.1.  I would have opted for 8.1Pro when I ordered this desktop from Lenovo,  but it wasn't offered.  I was able to set up a Bitlocker password and recovery pin, but when I attempted to enable everything with TPM it failed because it was not found.  The error message stated it may need to be accessed by changing BIOS.  I tried getting to BIOS settings without restarting the OS as documentation I could find stated how to,  but there wasn't a selection for EUFA Settings on the wash screens.  I will have to try to access it from the usual method of rebooting.  In order to use the Bitlocker encryption it requires TPM 1.2, and one of the popup error responses my system offers refers to possibly it only having version1.0, and also says TPM needs to be accessed in BIOS settings.  1) Can you please elaborate in detail exactly what you were stating needed to be done in your last sentence of your post on this topic?  I know if I do enter BIOS to change settings,  it may have unintended consequences for the system if I alter the wrong options.  2) Which particular option(s) am I required to change to enable the TPM version it has installed?  And, what does it require if it needs an update to version1.2?  If this Erazer system actually has the option with the TPM security chip, it would have been nice for Lenovo to have already had it enabled,  and if it actually is not there,  it would have been helpful if this information could have been stated in documentation.

  • Check list for Customization of FI module

    SAP Guru's
Can any one guide me for Steps/check list for customisation of FI module
    and how to document it.
    Sandeep

    Hi,
In SAP, there are quite a few configuration steps which are required in each and every FI implementation. However, it will be different in each client, depending upon several factors like Business Processes / requirements of the client / what modules are being implemented / what interfaces are to be maintained etc.
Similarly, if FI module alone is implemented it will be simple, but if FI and CO are implemented, it will be complex. Hence, I suggest first understand the requirements in  a broad manner and based on that you can arrive on what configuration needs to be done.
Also note that SAP standard configuration will already exist and you can copy most of the settings to your Company Code(s).
At the high level, Organization structure has to be created based on Business requirements like Company Codes, Credit Control Area, Controlling Area, Operating Concern, Sales Organization, Division, Plant etc.
Some of the specific configuration steps in FI are creation of Chart of Accounts, Document types, Field Status variant, Account Groups for Customer / Vendors etc. This is not exhaustive and you can look at IMG to identify the different config steps required for your client.
    Thanks
    Murali.

  • What is meant by functun module

    Hi Gurus,
Can you please explain me what is meant by function modue and importance of this?
    Thanks in advance
    venkat

    Hi Venkat,
Your question is not clear as to whether you want to about function module in ABAP or a Functional module. Anyway..........pls find answer for both below -
    <b>ABAP function module</b> -
Function modules are procedures that are defined in special ABAP programs only, so-called function groups, but can be called from all ABAP programs. Function groups act as containers for function modules that logically belong together. You create function groups and function modules in the ABAP Workbench using the Function Builder.
Function modules allow you to encapsulate and reuse global functions in the SAP System. They are managed in a central function library. The SAP System contains several predefined functions modules that can be called from any ABAP program. Function modules also play an important role during updating  and in interaction between different SAP systems, or between SAP systems and remote systems through remote communications.
    <b>SAP Functional Module -</b>
SAP functional module represents each functional area of an organisation. Each module helps in mapping respective business processes into SAP. The following is the broad bifurcation of Functional Modules -
    ACCOUNTING -  FINANCIAL ACCOUNTING Module
LOGISTICS - SALES AND DISTRIBUTION Module, MATERIALS MANAGEMENT Module, QUALITY MANAGEMENT Module, PRODUCTION PLANNING AND CONTROL Module
    PLANT MAINTENANCE Module
    PROJECT SYSTEM Module
HUMAN RESOURCES - HUMAN RESOURCE Module
