Data determination requires a structure in which the data determined can be stored and accessed from pricing. Communication structure KOMPAZD is provided for this purpose.
The standard system provides the following fields in this structure:
Price list type
Exclusion indicator
Communication structure KOMPAZD can be extended in the same way as communication structures KOMKAZ and KOMPAZ.
This is described in SD Customizing under:
Sales and Distribution ® System Modification ® Create new fields (using condition technique) ® New fields for pricing
Prerequisites:
Data determination in the access for pricing takes place at field level. A field is selected for this. It is used for data determination, not pricing. This is carried out as follows:
When maintaining a condition table, you can choose a field from the key in the Technical Settings field. It is then designated as a data field and is automatically indicated with C in the access in Customizing for access sequences. This is only possible when it is created. If you want to change existing condition tables, you must delete them and then recreate them.

Price book refers to a price determination strategy . it takes place in two steps.
data determination means (customer data, material data...)what data is to be used
RVA001 is the standard pricing procedure used in sap.
RVA002 is standard price book determination procedure given by SAP.
the main reason to use this kind of procedure is to set a certain prices for a group of customers. spacial agreements are also to be set for these prices, depending on the material.
STEP 1: sales deal number ( it is the type of deals given for sales , condition type PBU) is determined using the customer group .... that means u assign a deal to a particular customer in simple ...
STEP 2: Now using material group , special agreements are determined which take pricing date , scale quantity, item price list into account ...(condition used is PBUD)

there are more condition type of this kind .. for ex , PBBS, the determined special agreements are used to read the base price.
the gross price is calculated in the condition type PBUP....

have a lot of organizational units and must only assign a few attributes
2) Rule type Organizational Model
You would use rule resolution using organizational model if you
have created an organizational model or have distributed a plan to SAP CRM and also want to use this for determining organizational data
assign a lot of attributes to the organizational units and these are to be evaluated

Organizational data determination for mkt. activities

We need organizational data determination for mkt. activities created from campaigns. In CRM we have only the Marketing part of the clients organization, using Marketing scenario in PPCOMA_CRM.
If we leave org. unit field of activity blank, the activity has a red error light.
The responsable person is the one from the campaign. It is responsable of en Marketing unit (that was assigned to campaign).
The possible solutions for our cliente could be 1) org data determination from preceding document or 2) org data determination from the Mkt organization of the responable person.
Concerning 1) There is no "natural" way to assign the preceding
document (campaign). Am I right?
Concerning 2) The only way to determine the an unit, was choosing Organizational Model Determin. Rule 10000148 to perfile ZDUOCTEST and later changing the scenario of rule 10000148 from sales to marketing. This obviosly is not standard. As rule and perfile now have diferent scenarios. What would be the standard solution?

please do not get confused by the terminology of the standard solution,what you are doing by changing the scenariop from sales to marketing is actually a standard solution,
as an activity is generated in response to the campiang or survey being submitted,and it is always a sales scenario ,since further activity application is in martketing scenario ,so what you are doing is changing the scenario from sales to marketing so that from those activities tyou can generate the org data,this is the standard and it goes this way only
if you want to work other way around then just use the preceding document access sequence in the scenario like then you have to use the campaign data instead of the activity generated in response to the campaign,

Finding the manufacture date on an access point via software

I'd like to determine the manufacture date of our access points because we plan on converting to LWAPP? Can someone tell me the what CLI command to use and which field has the answer. thanks.

Not sure about finding the Manufacture date (maybe you are trying to find out about the presence of a MIC certificate) but we did go through this coversion from Autonomous to Lightweight on our infrastructure last summer.In this process we did convert about 70 1121's and 1231's to LWAPP and it worked very well. Purpose
Data definitions (metadata) are created and managed in the ABAP Dictionary. The ABAP
Dictionary permits a central description of all the data used in the system without redundancies.
New or modified information is automatically provided for all the system components. This
ensures data integrity, data consistency and data security.
You can create the corresponding objects (tables or views) in the underlying relational database
using these data definitions. The ABAP Dictionary therefore describes the logical structure of the
objects used in application development and shows how they are mapped to the underlying
relational database in tables or views.
The ABAP Dictionary also provides standard functions for editing fields on the screen, for
example for assigning a screen field an input help.
What Information is Stored in the ABAP Dictionary?
The most important object types in the ABAP Dictionary are tables, views, types, domains,
search helps and lock objects.
Tables are defined in the ABAP Dictionary independently of the database. A table
having the same structure is then created from this table definition in the underlying database.
Views are logical views on more than one table. The structure of the view is defined in
the ABAP Dictionary. A view on the database can then be created from this structure.
Types are used in ABAP program. The structure of a type can be defined globally in
ABAP programs. Changes to a type automatically take effect in all the programs using the type.
Lock objects are used to synchronize access to the same data by more than one
user. Function modules that can be used in application programs are generated from the
definition of a lock object in the ABAP Dictionary.
Different fields having the same technical type can be combined in domains . A
domain defines the value range of all table fields and structure components that refer to this
domain.
The ABAP Dictionary also contains the information displayed with the F1 and F4 help for a field
in an input template. The documentation about the field is created for a data element
that describes the meaning of the contents of a table field. The list of possible input values that
appears for the input help is created by a foreign key or a search help .
Integration in the ABAP Development Workbench
The ABAP Dictionary is completely integrated in the ABAP Development Workbench. The R/3
System works interpretatively, permitting the ABAP Dictionary to be actively integrated in the
development environment. Instead of the original objects, the interpreters see only internal
representations of these objects.
These internal representations are adjusted automatically when the system finds that changes
have been made in the ABAP Dictionary. This ensures that the screen and ABAP interpreters,
input help, database interface, and development tools always access current data.

Delivery date determination in the schedule lines

Hi,
       I have a question on the delivery date determination in the schedule lines of the sales order. If the goods issue date in the schedule line has been determined as 17th Aug 2009, and the transit time is 3 days. What should be the delivery date that will be proposed? Should it be 10 + 3 equal 20th Aug 2009, or it will be 21st Aug, which is the the following day of 10 + 3 ? I simulated in the sales order and it gave me 21st, my understanding was it should be just 17 + 3 = 20th Aug.

    The amount of time that the system automatically adds as a safety margin
    to the estimated time required for processing a delivery.
Use
    The system adds the rounding-up margin to the time estimates for a
    delivery, regardless of whether the system
    o   Calculates the times from data in the master records, or
    o   Simply uses the default times that apply to the relevant shipping
        point.
This is F1 Help of rounding days and not my words..... you can also check in OVXD t-code.

Certainly it is unusual that you can still see the tables available in your MS Access database but cannot see the columns? I am assuming you are configuring an Open Statement step and are trying to use the ring-control to select columns from your table?
Can you tell me more about the changes you made to your file when you 'changed' it with MS Access? What version of Access are you using? What happens if you try and manually type in an 'Open Statement Dialog's SQL string such as...
"SELECT UUT_RESULT.TEST_SOCKET_INDEX, UUT_RESULT.UUT_STATUS, UUT_RESULT.START_DATE_TIME FROM UUT_RESULT"
Is it able to find the columns even if it can't display them? I am worried that maybe you are using a version of MS Access that is too new for the version of TestSt
and you are running. Has anything else changed aside from the file you are editing?

SolMan 4.0: Support Team determination via Access Sequence not working

from all the documentation I've read I got the following understanding for automatically determination of Support Team via Access Sequence (well, for one possibillity at least):
- Maintain Sold-to-Party in IBase IB52, especially country attribute. DONE
- Maintain Organizational Structure in PPOMA_CRM and create Org. Units, Business Partner No. get assigned automatically. DONE
- The Organizational Unit "Support Team" has the same country attribute as the Sold-to-Party and was marked "Obj. Permitted in Determination". DONE
- In IMG under SolMan -> Sc.-Specific Settings -> Partner Det. Proc. -> Def. Partner Det. Procedure select Procedure "SLFN0001" -> Partner Functions in Procedure -> Select "Support Team" -> Details, in block "Partner Determination" under "Access Sequence" select "Organizational data: Support Team by org. model". DONE
If I now create a support message in a satellite system the Support-Team will NOT be assigned. Instead if I have a look into transaction data of the message under tab "Actions" there is an entry "When message is created, find support team responsible" with processing parameters RULE AC13200137, PARTNER_FCT SLFN0003.
This makes absolutely no sense to me, why is the determination rule 13200137 used (which contains no entries at the moment) instead of the assigned Access Sequence?
Am I missing something?

thanxAnd that SQL statement is another reason to use PreparedStatement. I assume bname and sname are input from some form? Well, if that's the case, simply inserting them into SQL by simple String concatenation is just begging for all sorts of problems. What if there is an apostrophe in the entry? Broken Statement. Worse, it's a wide open invitation to an SQL Injection attack.

Importing/Exporting data from Microsoft Access

Hello to everybody!
I have to create a management software (client-server).
CLIENT SIDE: ClientS insert data into forms and these data are stored into a database Access (client database). Every month clients send to the server some of the data stored (data of the month!).
SERVER SIDE: "Server man" receive from clients those data by email end need to store them into the main server database.
Note: Data to be send have not a big dimension and, naturally, clients and server databases are identical (same structure)!
My questions are:
1) What is the best way to export data from database access to a file? (I imagine I need to use .XML file). Do I need to use particular package or software??
2) What is the best way to import data from a file (maybe .XML) into a database access (of server)?? Do I need to use particular package or software??
This is my first software of this kind.

How to write a Data Plugin to access a binary file

Im a newbee to DIAdem, i want to develop a data plugin to access a binary file with any number of channels.For example if there around 70 channels, the raw data would in x number of files which will contain may be around 20 channels in each file . Raw file consist of header(one per file), channel sub header(one per channel),Calibration Data Segment(unprocessed datas) and Test data segments(processed data)....
Each of these contains many different fields under them and their size varies ....
Could suggest me some procedure to carry out this task taking into consideration of any number of channels and any number of fields under them....
