  • Whats the diference??

Whats the diference between the widgets and normal downloads at www.apple.com?? also would like to know if there is something like microsoft office to share documents with PC (not the MS ofice 2004 for apple) other software please

The Dashboard widgets only run in Dashboard. They aren't exactly stand-alone applications. The applications you get from the "Downloads" section will run from your Applications folder.
Microsoft Office documents (.doc, .xls, .ppt) are already cross-platform. You can open one created on a Mac with the Windows version and vise-versa. You don't need to convert them at all. You would just need the Macintosh version of Microsoft Office to create them or open them on your Mac.

  • Valuated and Non-valuated project stock in same SAP system

    Dear All,
Can we operate with the system where projects are with valuated and non-valuated project stock at the same time. If yes, are there any precautions we need to take before doing this.
Currently we are changing to 'valuated project stock' from 'non-valuated project stock' due to advantages of 'valuated project stock'. But since we are implementing this change in already stable system where projects are running with 'non-valuated project stock'. Please suggest of there are any complication with this.
      Thanks in advance !

    Hi Muralidhar Lanka,
Thanks for your time and efforts to share your thoughts with all of us. Hope you will not mind, did you done this kind of changes to profiles midst of the project in the past? or its your guess.
Because, many times these kind of questions comes from business to change, but we are not sure how it will affect the existing as well new projects. In such circumstances, normally we politely propose to go with two profiles rather changing the existing one since we are not sure of how it will affect.
It would be great help to all of us if you can share your experiences how the goods movement and value flows have taken in  system for old projects and new projects. What kind of changes you could notice after changing profile in terms of .. a few of them
    1.  Goods movement
    2. Consumption of production orders and internal order.
    3. Settlement and RA (customer projects/ investment projects)
    4. POC calcualtion of projects
I am sorry if you find my questions are silly and not worth to answer, please disregard.
Looking forward to hear from you at your convenient time.
    Thanks,

  • What is diff b/w valuated and non valuated

    hi
can anybody tell me what is difference between valuated salesorder and nonvaluated saled order stock
    thanks
    prasad

    Hi,
While creating the Sales order, system explore the BOM for that FERT. Say, I add one more extra component in sales order which is not been maintained in BOM or which has not been valuated for Std cost estimate for that FERT material. This extra component is call it as Non-valuated sales order stock. All other, valuvaed materials are valuated sales order stock.
    Hope, it helps!

  • What is RID in non clustered index and its use

    Hi All,
I need help regarding following articles on sql server
    1) what is RID in non clustered index and its use.
    2) What is Physical and virtual address space. Difference in 32 bit vs 64 bit Virtual address space
    Regards
    Rahul

Next time Please ask single question in a thread you will get better response.
    1. RID is location of heap. When you create Non clustered index on heap and
lookup happens to get extra records RID is used to locate the records. RID is basically Row ID. This is basic definition for you. Please read
    this Thread for more details
    2. I have not heard of Physical address space. I Know Virtual address space( VAS)
VAS is simple terms is amount of memory( virtual )  'visible' to a process, a process can be SQL Server process or windows process. It theoretically depends on architecture of Operating System. 32 bit OS will have maximum range of 4 G VAS, it's calculated
like a process ruining on 32 bit system can address max up to 2^32 locations ( which is equivalent to 4 G). Similarly for 64 bit max VAS will be 2^64 which is theoretically infinite. To make things feasible maximum VAS for 64 bit system is kept to 8 TB. Now
VAS acts as layer of abstraction an intermediate .Instead of all request directly mapping to physical memory it first maps to VAS and then mapped to physical memory so that it can manage request for memory in more coordinated fashion than allowing process
to do it ,if not it will  soon cause memory crunch.Any process when created on windows will see virtual memory according to its VAS limit.

  • How can i control what images load on my project to save preload time and avoid loading all images, elements, divs not yet visible?

    Sup buddies,
How can I control what images load on my project to save preload time and avoid loading all images, elements, divs not yet visible?
As the project grows in size the load time increases. How does one control not loading all images ,divs, elements etc. until they're
needed on the timeline? For example some sections are off and only become visible when recalled. My projects slowly grow in size so loading
all images , is counter productive . My other option would be to create separate htmls but that breaks the seamless user experience .
    TY...Over N Out...

    hello, kiwi
quote: "Is there an easy way to burn a completed project to DVD, but keep only the (lo res, lo size) previews on my hard drive?"
    yes.
    maybe,...
    1. you might think of making DVD backups first prior to importing the photos into Aperture. "Store Files: In their current location" once in Aperture make low rez Previews, and export finished Project.
    or,
    2. bring in the photographs to hard drive first prior to importing the photos into Aperture. "Store Files: In their current location" once in Aperture make low rez Previews, and export finished Project.
the low rez Previews will stay in Aperture but the high quality Versions will be exported onto DVDs and gone from the hard drive (if you delete the originals).
another way would be to export small about 50-70 pixel wide high quality jpegs to a folder on your Desktop and import & keep these in Aperture Library as a reference. make metadata to show where the original Project DVDs are stored and DVD filing system used.

What is the diference between apple tv and new apple tv2?

Airport is a router, Apple TV is a set-top box.
    http://www.apple.com/airportexpress/
    http://www.apple.com/appletv/
Original Apple TV had a hard-drive, and has been discontinued for quite some time.
ATV2 is a streaming only device, smaller, and use less power. It is also now discontinued
The current model, ATV 3, has a better chip allowing for 1080P playback.

  • What is the meaning of "PSEUDO" and "NONE" in v$session table.

    Hi
What is the meaning of "PSEUDO" and "NONE" in v$session table.
    V$SESSION:
    SERVER      VARCHAR2(9)      Server type (DEDICATED| SHARED| PSEUDO| NONE)
    thanks
    siva

PSEUDO is the server column's value of killed sessions, until they are cleaned up by PMON.
A dedicated server session will always have DEDICATED as server value, while a shared server session has SHARED when it's active, and NONE when it's inactive.

  • Can anybody explain what is support for ADF Project and to solve the Issues

    Hi,
I am new to ADF and i am currently associated to ADF Support Project.
Can anybody explain what is support for ADF Project and to solve the Issues when the ADF Project is in Live.
we are getting the Tickets for the Issues.
    Thanks in advance.

    I agree with Timo.
It depends on the size of the project, user base, technologies, etc. We use lot of technologies in fusion middleware stack. We get tickets in many areas.
In your case, it could be anything like user training issues (user may not know how to use the some system features), browser issues like blank screen, bugs in code like JBO errors (failed to validate, another user has changed row, failed to lock the record, NullPointerException, IllegalArgumentException etc), business logic issues, page may not render properly, performance issues, partial commit issues, application server issues, authentication issues. If you use web services you might get web services related problems.

  • What is the difference between cumulative and non cumulative keyfigures?

    non-cumulatives KF in reporting
Re: use of non cumulative keyfigure
Re: When do we use Non-Cumulative values?
    Key figures:
    1. Cumulative Vaules
    2. Non – Cumulative Values
    Cumulative Values:
Cumulative Values are Keyfigures for which Keyfigure Values are must posted in every time unit that reported on (= time period – specific Values).
    Example:
    Revenue
    Non – Cumulative Values:
Non – Cumulative Values are Keyfigures for which KeyFigures are only evaluated for selected time Periods.
    Cumulative Keyfigures With Exception Aggregation:
It's a 'normal' KF (with summation, min or max as aggregation behaviour), but you set some exception in this behaviour...for example, you can say that a KF, normally aggregated by 'summation', have to show the max value (or the average, or '0' or something else), that is the 'exception aggregation' when you use it in combination with 0DOC_DATE (or other char), that is the 'exception aggregation char reference'...in this case OLAP processor give to you the possibility to see your KF with different behaviour depending from you use 0DOC_DATE (in our example, MAX) or something else (SUMMATION).
Non – Cumulative keyfigure with Associated Single Delta:
If you have a stock KF that is fed from only one (other) movement KF that can assume positive and negative sign.
    KF1 (initial) STOCK (non-***.) = 100
    KF2 flow = -30
    KF2 flow = 70
    KF1 (final) STOCK (non-***.) = 140
Non-cumulative key figure with associated in and outflow:
This is the case of 2LIS_03_BF KF stocks fields.
Here, we have the same situation in point 2, but you will have not only ONE flow KF, but TWO, one dedicated to in and another one dedicated to out !
You have to use this scenario if you have no KF that have positive and negative sign, but two KFs each one representing positive (in) and negative (out) logical sign!
    KF1 (initial) STOCK (non-***.) = 100
    KF2 (out))flow = 30
    KF3 (in)flow = 70
    KF1 (final) STOCK (non-***.) = 140

  • PE2 - What's the difference between "cut" and "clear" in Project Assets?

When removing items from the Project Assets area, what's the difference between "cut" and "clear"?
Also I believe "delete" is an option at times, but I couldn't replicate it.

Cut should Delete, but transfer that Clip to the Clipboard, where Clear will just Delete it completely - no transfer to Clipboard.
That can be tested by doing a Cut, then move the CTI (Current Timeline Indicator) to the end of the Timeline, and hit Ctrl+V (Paste). That Deleted Clip should appear after the CTI.
Then, clear (or choose a different Clip) the Clipboard, and try Clear. It should not Paste the Clip into the Timeline.
    Good luck,

    Hello All,
What is the difference between project workflow activities 'UpdateProjectProperty' and 'UpdateTextProperty' in visual studion 2012?

    Hi,
Both are developed with .NET framework, per my knowledge, the biggest difference would be the environment they applied to: one for Windows platform, one for SharePoint platform:

  • I have a non intel G5 and would like to download i-tune songs that I have recently purchased. I have tried everything and can't find the downloads. Did this G5 just become obsolete with itunes? If not what is the problem?

I have a non intel G5 and would like to download i-tune songs that I have recently purchased. I have tried everything and can't find the downloads. Did this G5 just become obsolete with itunes? If not what is the problem?

You can do it with Leopard but it depends upon the iTunes version which you did not reveal.  Also make sure you are looking in the right place for purchases.
Consider buying a backup drive so you do not need to do this again.  If you are going to run old hardware and software you need to live differently because yes, at some time you will find your version of iTunes no longer works.  You're lucky it still works with Leopard.  As you can see, some versions still work with the iTunes Store but not for repeat downloading.
Downloading (using iOS or computer) past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519 - enabled with iTunes 10.3 and newer; not all media formats are available in all countries (see: iTunes in the Cloud, iTunes Match, and iTunes Radio availability by country - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085); apps, books (not audiobooks), music, t.v. shows, and movies (some - not all studios have permitted this).  Downloading previously purchased movies and TV shows requires iTunes 10.6 or later.  Discontinued items not available. For items not included in the iCloud list (e.g., ringtones, audiobooks), or locations or computer systems where iCloud is not (yet?) available, you only get one download per fee paid.  Apple recommends,  "... back up your iTunes library. " (http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519).
    Additional tip at https://discussions.apple.com/message/24176756#24176756
Select the iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes if you have the sidebar displayed, or with the button at the top right.
Click on Purchased on the right side under Quick Links (see https://discussions.apple.com/message/26364186#26364186)
You can re-download your available previous purchases.

Either wait which is not practical or

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
