What is distiller max page size

Hello,
I'm running into some problems with Acrobat Distiller Pro (version 10.1.7) When I create a postscript file of 195" x 88" and placed it in distiller, it results in 8.5" x 11 and images are cropped.
FYI - postscript is generated from illustrator CS6.
Does anyone has solution for this problem?
Thanks,
sntm

I customized the page size to mirror the illustrator file but larger to show the slug area and trim marks.
The reason I chose distiller to create pdf over illustrator is that the page size is set up exactly to its artboard. The slug and measurement are outside the artboard and so when I create pdf, it only captures live area within the artboard. I would like to include the slug, trim marks, measurement, and everything outside of the artboard as well. FYI: this is a template that I'm working from so the layout has already been pre-set as such.
So my solution was to adjust the artboard bigger to capture everything each time I would create a pdf but if there are multiple of these, can be become tedious.
Thanks,
sntm

  • What is the max file size that a Adapter Engine [J2SE] can handle ?

We are having a scenario where a 4 GB compressed file needs to be sent across without mapping, I'm trying to explore the possible options to tackle this scenario.
Some of the options, we are considering :
    - Sending a file from one Adapter Engine [J2SE] to another Adapter Engine [J2SE] bypassing PI. Adapter Logs will be monitored. What is the maximum file size that can be then handled assuming a standard installation ?
    - What is the max file size that Adapter Engine [J2SE] can send through PI without mapping?
Any help with the above options or with any other possible solutions to handle extremely large file transfers will be much appreciated.

    Hi,
j2se is not a good option here
if you have 4gb then you need a copy solution
    a) build an proxy that will just copy the file from sender dest to receiver
    b) build an adapter that will do the same as proxy)
this way processing of this message will be controlled with SAP PI/XI
it will be as quick as copy & paste of the 4gb file
I did the a) for one of the flow for 300 mb and it works perfectly

  • What is te max. file size for lightroom

i have some very big files. lightroom says that the are to big to catalog. but what is the max. file size ?

There is no MAX file size.
As John points out, the limits are on the number of pixels, not file size

  • Doing Buffered Event count by using Count Buffered Edges.vi, what is the max buffer size allowed?

I'm currently using Count Buffered Edges.vi to do Buffered Event count with the following settings,
Source : Internal timebase, 100Khz, 10usec for each count
gate : use the function generator to send in a 50Hz signal(for testing purpose only). Period of 0.02sec
the max internal buffer size that i can allocate is only about 100~300. Whenever i change both the internal buffer size and counts to read to a higher value, this vi don't seem to function well. I need to have a buffer size of at least 2000.
    1. is it possible to have a buffer size of 2000? what is the problem causing the wrong counter value?
    2. also note that the size of max internal buffer varies w
ith the frequency of signal sent to the gate, why is this so? eg: buffer size get smaller as frequency decrease.
    3. i'll get funny response and counter value when both the internal buffer size and counts to read are not set to the same. Why is this so? is it a must to set both value the same?
    thks and best regards
    lyn

    Hi,
I have tried the same example, and used a 100Hz signal on the gate. I increased the buffer size to 2000 and I did not get any errors. The buffer size does not get smaller when increasing the frequency of the gate signal; simply, the number of counts gets smaller when the gate frequency becomes larger. The buffer size must be able to contain the number of counts you want to read, otherwise, the VI might not function correctly.

  • What is the max hdd size for a macbook 2.1 (late 2006)

    I have a Macbook 2.1 (late 2006). Its 80 MB HDD crashed.
What maximum HDD capacity/size can my Macbook handle?

Replace it with any notebook sized, 2.5", SATA I or II HDD. Presently, the largest that will fit is a 1.5 GB drive by Toshiba. You cannot install a drive that is over 9.5 mm high.
Look for drives at OWC to get an idea of what's available and pricing. You can buy the drive you want anywhere reliable you want, so look for the best price available for the make and model you choose. Good brands are Hitachi, Seagate, Toshiba, and Samsung.

  • What is the max form size you can distribute in Acrobat 9 Pro?

    Hello Everyone,
I am using Acrobat 9 Pro to create a survery form that needs to be distributed out to several people.  The form basically is a bunch of radio buttons that answer questions.  There will be well over 200 radio button groups in the 4 page document.  Is there a limit in acrobat for how many form fields you can have?
I just wanted to make sure before I took on the laborious task of creating the form.
Thanks for any help its greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the input Try67.  I just found out how many form fields they wanted the other day.  Hopefully its ok but if now we will have to go another route.

    Hi
Goto ECC and SE11 give the table name = ROOSOURCE and see the data in that table youc an see all the datasource in that table filter TYPE = HIER, here you can see all heirarchy datasources.

  • What is the max GB size of a hard drive in a Presario S4010CL desk top computer

I have replaced the factory hard drive in my Presario S4010CL, and then that hard drive and others several more times. Each time I have gone to a larger capacity drive. I am again at the point of installing a larger capacity hard drive. I want this to be the last drive I put in the computer, but I don't know what the largest drive capacity is that the mother board will operate completely. When I look at spec. sheets all they indicate is that the S4010Cl came with a little 60 GB hard drive, and the spec. sheets don't give any information on the maximum hard drive capacity.

    Hi,
As the computer is not a laptop you can use as many hard drives as you have SATA/PATA connectors on the motherboard (make it double on PATA connectors due to the ribbon cables). More drives however, also means a more powerful power supply unit. I suggest to keep one hard drive for an operating system (smaller up to 120GB) for a better performance (as suggested by my colleague) and possible data loss in case of a drive failure. The other bigger one or ones would be for user data (movies, music, whatever). I couldn't find much details about the motherboard or data connections. Is it SATA or IDE?

  • What is the max Data size that can be converted to PDF using CR 2008 SP5

    Hi All,
When I supply more data to convert to PDF using XML data source I get exception on converting the stream
    Exception :
Error generating PDF. Exception:Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
       at CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.EromReportSourceBase.ExportToStream(ExportRequestContext reqContext)
       at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.FormatEngine.ExportToStream(ExportRequestContext reqContext)
       at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument.ExportToStream(ExportOptions options)
       at CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument.ExportToStream(ExportFormatType formatType)
But it works with smaller size like 50-60K of data.
I searched about the exception and the results were mentioning about wrong placement of runtimes.
But my doubt is if the problem is with runtimes then why it works with less data?
    Thanks.

    Version of CR (be precise...)?
    Version of .NET?
    OS?
Is this on your dev computer or after you deploy the app?
Add code used in the app please.

  • Creating custom page size PDFs in Distiller 7

I've created a music document (in Finale) with pages that are 9x12. I have been trying to make high-resolution PDFs in Distiller (Acrobat Professional 7) for the printing company. The Distiller's page size is set to 9x12 and so is the Page Setup. But my PDFs come out cut off at the top and right hand side (as if the page had been pushed up into to the upper right corner)
    What am I doing wrong?
I'm working on an Intel iMac running OSX 10.4.10

The PDF output size will be typically derived from your authoring
application - the page size is used for EPS files without a specific
    bounding box ..

  • Reader 9- Cant seem to keep ' Choose paper by PDF Page Size' uncheck -online doc

We have been looking at this for a long time.  If a certain posted doc gets printed and the Choose paper by PDF Page Size is checked, it breaks the users profile.  We have made that change on the doc before posting it but users still have the issue.  Also we have had users make the change locally but it doesnt 'keep' the setting.
Is there a way (GP or script) to force at the user session level?
This has been killing us for months.  My searches didnt yield any solutions either....

In order to get help you need to provide more detail about your settings. Perhaps the margins for the paper size you have chosen have print margins that leave a smaller print area than you think. In combination with this is there some sort of "scale to fit" set somewhere?
So what size paper are you printing to, and what is your document page size in Acrobat 7? I have the same printer and may be able to help if you provide more detail.

  • Max File size in XI

What is the Max file size can be use in XI

    Hello
This  depends upon your hardware and sizing of the XI box. so it also  depends on how complex your mapping and whether you are using any BPM inside the scenario or not. I have come across where XI is used just to move the file of 1GB also.
but this is thro various tech like message splitting by using BPM.
so if you r sending the file of large size it surely brings XI down so it is adviseable  to read chunks of data into XI and process further.
for message splitting you can use below links

  • Max phisical size in forms 10g?

i need to know what is the max fisical size in a form 10g? 1Kb, 1Mb ?

There are whole lot of theoretical limits that are too numerous to list here and too theoretical to really matter but the upshot is that you can have pretty big fmx file sizes if you really want to. Using several smaller forms is probably a better overall strategy since memory can be managed better.
