Hi,
Distribution of usage variances specially comes in scenarios like Physical Inventory checkup and its adjustments to derive the actual costing.
Physical Inventory documents generally posted to adjust the physical inventory and the inventory as per sap. These total adjustments have to be made based on the quantity consumed on each order. Ofcourse this scenario is project specific.
This ensures auto consideration at the time of determination of periodic unit rate in actual cost run. These adjustments will revaluate the consumption.
This dynamic usage variance is applicable both for the inventory and for activity rates.
U have to maintain the following configuration-
Controlling>Product Cost Controlling>Actual Costing-->Activate Distribution of Consumption Differences
Once these settings are in place, u have to run either some or all of the following--
CKMDUVACT - Distribution of Activity Differences
CKMDUVMAT - Distribution of Inventory Differences
CKMDUVREC - Enter Actual Activity Quantities

CKMDUVSHOW - Display Inventory and Activity Differences

Dynamic actions are nothing but calling one more Infotype when trying to Create/Change or Delete a perosnnel number.
Lets take an example company want that whenever an employee Communication data Fax/mobile no entered then immediately they want to make their email IDs depending upon VORNA NACHN of the personnel numbers data.Then at this point they will configure dynamic actions.But as a technical consultanat u will be given a Program name and the subroutine name in which u need to write the coding.
Dynamic actions are a great tool to make infoytpe maintenance easier. When you create an infotype you can create another one automatically for example. Dynamic actions work for both master data and applicant data infotypes. It is basically a view on table T588Z you can reach via IMG - Personnel management - Personnel administration - Customize procedures - Dynamic actions.
The table view looks like this:
Infotype - Subtype - Field - Function code - Number - Step - Variable function part
The infotype, subtype and field determine what should be created, filled, modified and so on.
The function code determines when something should happen. It can have the following values:
    * 02 - Change record
    * 04 - Create record
    * 08 - Delete record
These values can be added so e.g. 06 means change record + create record. Remember - this only tells us when something should be done.
The number simply tells us which step is first and which next. I recommend to go by 10's (10, 20, 30,40...), this makes it easier if you later on want to fill something in.
The step determines what should be done. It can have 6 values:
    * P - check conditions under which something is done
    * I - maintain infotype record
    * W - set default values for new record
    * V - Reference to another step
    * F - call a routine
    * M - send mail

What is the workflow for creating templates in full FrameMaker and pushing them to XML Author?

Hi All,
I'm working for a large organization (3000+) that is subdivided into 60+ business units. I'm trying to figure out the workflow for using full FrameMaker to create a template that I can provide my business units to fill in via XML Author, send back to me, and then I can publish into a number of products using the Tech. Comm. Suite. I am somewhat new to XML so I am not sure how to get my structure and format to translate.
Can anybody clarify what the general workflow would be for this process? All I have been able to find is the flowchart showing full FM to XML to XML Author and back to full FM. From my test driving of the Tech Comm Suite though it has not appeared that easy.

Here's a rough outline of what is needed.
1) First, you'll need to define the data model that your documents are using. This could be some existing model like DITA or a new custom model. Depending on the complexity of your document's needs, this may drive that decision.
2) Once you've got a model, you'll need to create a structure application (in full FM). This structure application defines the model and appearance of documents. This will provide the fundamental structure of the "template" as well as placeholder text for the elements where you want people to provide information.
3) Then you have to install the structure application on each of the XML Author installations. This involves copying the structure application definitions file (structapps.fm) onto the client systems as well as the structure application files (into the proper location as indicated in the structure application definition). The structure application definition may reference these files at a network location, which might simplify the deployment, but would require that each person is connected to that network in order to create the files (pros/cons with this approach).
Once that's set up, your XML Author users should (in theory) be able to create a new document using the new structure application, then send you the resulting files. Lots of hand waving here .. but that's the general idea.

Nic teaming - what is dynamic load balancing

When set up nic teaming in Windows 2012 I have the option of selecting "Address Hash", "Hyper-V Port", or "Dynamic" for the load balancing mode. The technet documentation explains "Address Hash" and "Hyper-V
Port" but there is nothing about "Dynamic". Is there anywhere I can find a description of what the "Dynamic" option provides?

Microsoft's official recommendation is to use Dynamic load balancing in most configurations.
Section 3.3 of
the NIC Teaming Deployment Guide explains what Dynamic is. Section 3.4 suggests when to use Dynamic load balancing, and when to use other modes.
I suggest reading the Guide from start to finish. I learn new things every time I look at it.

What is the workflow document web services service?

Workflow approval message is stuck in the inbox. It mail_status is mail. It's status is open.
I can see the approval message in the inbox and it is holding up other emails as it's just sitting there.
I can't see any reason for it to be sitting there so I bounced the WF Notification Mailer using:
service_components -> WorkflowMailer Service -> Stop All wait for it to stop completely then -> start all
So after starting all -> the workflow services (all 3 ) State is Activated, but there is a Big red X in the Status and the status of the workflow I'm trying to get out of the inbox is still open.
There is nothing in the logs yet so I can't see what that big red X means.
So I decide to stop and start the WF services one by one.
I stop workflow document web services service first. As soon as it starts to stop, the Worfkflow agent listener and the Workflow Mailer suddenly start up, the big red X goes away and the messages in the inbox all process.
What's up with that? What is " the workflow document web services service?" and why is it hanging my Mailer?

Hi Hasan,
In every workflow, every step represents with a unique NODE number. With that node number you can find the status of workflow in which step it is pending/error. If it is having the same step more than 100 times also, you will find out the current task easily with the node number.
In workflow builder also you will find out the respective step's node number in the navigation area.

What are dynamic vi's?

What are dynamic vi's? The ones that are calling or the ones that are being called? If a vi contains open vi reference does it become dynamic? Or the one that is being called through this function is the one that is dynamic.
I am trying to build a stand-alone executable (from a multi-file project) and I need to know which files to put into Project Explorer → Build Specifications → Application (exe) → Properties → Source Files → Dynamic VIs ans Support Files.
Are all vit's dynamic even if it does not contain open vi reference?

So, in all probability, B is dynamic, unless & until it is not placed as a SubVI inside A.

Creating dynamic workflow usin ALBPM

Does ALBPM provides functionality such as creating dynamic workflow. That is workflow are created by users (similar to windows workflow foundation)

You can do this using a "controller" process design pattern. Controller in this context is just an automatic activity to put in your process to cause work item instances to flow to different activities in the process. The benefit to having this activity is that it allows the adhoc or user designed behavior you're looking for. Once an instance reaches the Controller automatic activity, the logic inside this activity would determine where it needs to go next via a conditional transition coming out of the Controller. Once done, the instance returns to the contoller and goes where the original user designated it should go.
The set up for this is typically an array that the first user defines. Each item in the array contains the role and the activity in the role that it should go to next. The sequence of items in the array defines where it goes next as each item in the array is popped off the stack. Consider using a parametric role so you do not clutter up the process with 100 different roles. You'd instead just define the parameter of the role you'd like it to flow to next.
The controller automatic activtiy would just be in an Automatic Handler role.

Dynamic Workflow - Solution Starter

Hello all,
I am currently working with the Workflow Solution Starter. It is really helpful and meets majority of our client's requirements, but there is another small request which I am finding difficult to modify in the current DM Workflow code...
It is the 'Rejected' outcome. If a review stage has been rejected, the client wants to show that as a 'Not Approved' Stage...similar to the Branching Workflow out of the box. I was thinking if there is anyway we can just add a 'Not Approved Stage' in the
Dynamic Workflow code. I tried doing that, but it doesn't seem to move to the 'Not Approved' Stage. This can be a single 'Not Approved' stage for all the checkpoints of the project workflow and can sit either right at the end or at the very beginning so
Stage Order is not an issue, but it may be an issue for the code during workflow processing.
Is there anyone out there that has been able to achieve this?

dynamic binding means binding at run time.it is used in java for achieving runtime polymorphism.
e.g
class A
int i=15;

this program outputs as

this is because the instance methods are bind dynamically at runtime depending upon the object
not the reference.instance variables and static methods are bind early at compile time so these depends upon the reference not the object.
