I purchased a Wacom Bamboo Create and it came with a software package which included Photoshop Elements 10 but when I try to install it, it accepts my serial number but won't let me complete the process. It keeps telling me i need to "insert Photoshop Elements10" to continue.....but the software package disk is already in the disk drive. I have a macbook pro retina that runs on Yosemite....anyone know how to solve this?

if no, copy your cd contents to a desktop folder and attempt to install from the desktop folder. -
To give some more detail into the issue, my Dad just got a new modem, and since he's installed it, I keep getting redirected to an OpenDNS search page when I try to get to Tumblr and other websites. I've tried clearing my browsing data, and re-installing Safari, Google Chrome, and Firefox. Nothing worked. First of all, why is this happening? Second, I've read a few support pages that say I need to register for an account with OpenDNS to stop this. Is there a way to stop this happening without registering for an account? Do I have a virus, or is something going wrong with the router?

Why Stop sign shows up when I try to install tiger on Lombard
I knew tiger doesn't support Lombard. However, through the third party software, XPostFacto, I successed to install tiger to my old hard drive (6 GB). I felt the hard drive is too small and then bought a 20 GB hard drive. First, I installed OS 8.6 and found the XpostFacto did't work and then I installed OS 9.0, but when I tried to install tiger to my new hard drive, a stop sign showed up on the screen and my lambard sounds freezed. Can anybody tell me what costs this and what I can do next? I am so appreciated to get your help. Thanks.

Yes. It is the same Tiger DVD used last time. I thought it is clean and I can see all the files on the DVD.
Stop sign icon showing repeated:
1) After last time saw stop sign, I tried Option-Command-Escape, NO Respone.
2) I Restarted it by pushing Control-Command-Power. PB restarted but the same stop sign icon showed up.
3) I pressed and released the reset button on the rear of the computer. PB shut down.
4) Waited over 5 seconds, and then I pressed the Power button to restart the PowerBook computer. In the meantime, I pressed and held the Command-Option-P-R keys until I heards the startup sound for the second time. Computer reboot from HD with Mac OS 9.0. No freezes.
5) Lauched XPostFacto4 from HD,and made these selection as followings,
Select Volume: 40 BG HD
Select Install CD: Mac OS X install DVD
Restart in: Mac OS X
NVRAM options:
boot-device: ode0:7,\BootX.bootinfo
boot-file: -h -i
boot-args: -v rd=*idel/@0:3
auto-boot?: true
input-device: keyboard
output-device:screen
6) Clicked "Install from CD", "Are you sure you want to install Mac OS X now", clicked "Install". PB started to install extensions and items (totally not over 5 seconds), then PB shut down itself, and stop sign icon jumped up again.

I am having trouble with my iPod 5th gen after iOS update. It's in recovery mode and iTunes keeps timing out when I try to restore it. What should I do??? If possible, I would also like to keep all of my data.

As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds. This is a common fix should your iPod behave unexpectedly or lock up. Once reset, the iPod should display an Apple logo for a few seconds before showing the main menu. This procedure is similar to rebooting a computer and damages none of your music or data. -

Hey I finally got an older vesion of itunes to work!!! 10.7 x64 for windows 7
After uninstalling all apple products even quicktime
I had to delete everything from (program files, and program files x64, program data,)
And all downloads from apple, and I went in to search deleted other stuff from apple, and itunes
But definently not my itunes library and Playlist
Down loaded 10.7 x64 for windows 7, but checked (do not start when done)
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
I ran geek tech tool box same as reg cure pro, also PC Tools registry cleaner, and CC Cleaner
Then I emptied my recycling bin and restarted my PC
And wallah... It finally works, and I Love the older version anyways.

How much free space is there on Your Mac main Start-Up hard disk ? for
• SD-video - I never go under 25Gb
• HD-material used - I guess that x5 more would do.
Even as DVD is as standard SD-Video it needs space to scale down HD and Mac OS needs lot's for it's temp. files.
I do not "Finalize" or use "Share to iDVD" - but I do "Share to Media Browser" and as Large (not HD or other resolution as this will degrade the final result)

Ihave downloaded a tv show and when I try to play on my ipad it skipped and then screen has gone black. What should I do?
If the Videos app is now 'frozen then try searching for the name of one of your videos on the iPad's spotlight search screen - swipe your first homescreen to the right, type in it's name, and if it finds it tap on it to see if it plays.
If that doesn't work then try closing the Videos app completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with the Videos app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Videos app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
A third option if the two above don't work is a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
