What is (err = -39)?

While trying to download a podcast I keep getting error -39. I can't find this error number on the apple help site. Does anyone know what it means?

Is this an "Error -39", or "Error -69". I could not find anything on syncing the iPod and getting an "-39" error.

it appear after submit butt.
i created 3 html region and 1 submit butt with redirect and everything was working properly
then i created another submit butt. in another region. and now on every button click this err is arising

anonymous - Please tell us about the page in more detail, exactly what components are on it, etc. Also are you using the Session State Protection feature in the application? If you put the application on apex.oracle.com, we could see it.

What is (err=9006) I cant download a movie!?!?!?!?!

I tried to download lord of the rings the fellowship of the rings today and it stoped like 8 times and gave me (err=9006) what does that mean and what should or can I do about it.

I've been running into this issue on my AppleTV all the time and sometime see it on my macs at the same location. Sometimes it resolves itself after a few days but I currently have two movies I rented a couple of weeks ago that still won't download. This is truly frustrating. Any chance someone from Apple could give an explanation for the error code so we can try and debug this?

We have a limit of max 30,000 entries to be returned for any directory data pull searches. I doubt if err=4 only means "Size Limit Exceeded." It might mean something else too as none of the above seraches seem to return high nentries yet giving err=4.

As far as I know it does just mean "Size Limit Exceeded". Check the entry that bound to the directory to perform those searches and see if by chance it has its own nssizelimit attribute set. If so, that value would override your 30,000 system-wide setting.

What does err=-50 when downloading TV episodes mean?

I have a MacBook Pro w/8 GB RAM running Mac OS 10.6.8 and iTunes 10.5.1. When I have ordered certain TV episodes, I get a err=-50 while downloading which stops the downloading. Unfortunately, numbered errors mean much to programmers but nothing to users. Thank you.

You could try a few general things such as rebooting the computer, or trying the download later. Are these going to an external drive?

Try scan your Windows System files for errors or corruption.
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix or update any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and see if it is ok.

In non-technical terms - it means iTunes asked for a file to be downloaded but it did not get a response and so it (iTunes) decided to stop asking. iTunes tells you err = 3259.
The reason this happens may be because the host computer where the file is stored is busy - too busy to respond. Or perhaps the internet is busy and although the host server responds, the response does not get to your iTunes quickly enough. Or perhaps your ISP is busy, or your internet link from your home is busy.
The solution is to try again, but if everyone else in your household is using the internet at the same time as you, it may fail again. If it's a busy time in your part of the world (Friday night after a week at work, or an important online event) which makes the internet busy... need I say more.
If trying again doesn't work, try again the next day.

OS 5 won't download to iPhone 4. what does err 3259 mean?

Well, the fact that you can ping it means A. the server is up and running and B. your OS can access that server but the iTunes program cannot. Typically third party security software. Assure that if any are running, they are fully disabled. Make a sweep of your installed pieces of security software, and go as far as uninstalling ones that show up in the list of installed programs, even if they don't seem to be running.
You can do -n 50 at the end of your "ping gs.apple.com" and it will ping it 50 times. That should give you a good idea of any actual packet loss. Do -n 1000 and wait about 10 minutes, which will give you an even more realistic look at any actual packet loss. If there isn't any, it's probably software related.
Finally, test it on another Windows user account.

CRC ERR! iPhone 5a keeps turning off unexpectedly

The other day my iphone 5s turn itself off and the only way to turn it back on was to hard reset (hold power and home) this has happened twice since. I've checked the diag & usage and I can see CRC ERR! most likely the cause. Does anyone know what CRC ERR! is and if it's the cause?

CRC stands for Cyclic Redundancy Check. It is a data integrity check to see, for example, if the data read back from storage or transmitted over a network is the same data that was written or sent.
This failure could well be the cause of your stops and may indicate a hardware problem. Contact Apple Support for assistance.
