What is error 2502,& 2503 when installing Quicktime and gaming related drivers/software

Windows 8 has just been re-installed so I thought that would fix the problem. I had purchased a new XFX graphics card,,, free games. I couldn't download or play the games because of errors 2502 and 2503. After this new os installation, I thought this would fix any problems,,,but,, Quicktime won't install and I absolutely cannot find an answer for this,,,Please HELP!!!! direction, anything. -Thanks, JoeOutHere

I'm having the same problem, but so far, none of the solutions I've seen on other threads have worked. I've made sure that I have permissions on everything, but the registry still won't give me access. I'm starting to think that my registry (or at least any keys associated to QuickTime*) might be corrupted.
By the way BDude004, in any earlier versions of iTunes, did you have any errors pop up, talking about errors changing filetypes? that happened to me often, and I'm wondering if it was a precursor to this registry problem.
* I say this because I get the same "Cannot open QuickTime.[some QT associated filetype]: Error while opening key." message whenever I click on that key in the registry editor.

Hello,
I downloaded Quicktime on my computer and got an error message when installing it The error message says: "Itune + Quicktime error installation package. Error code 2738.
Installation of Quicktime did not complete successfully. ITune requires Quicktime."
*Does anyone know what error code 2738 means and how to fix it*?

I ran FixIt earlier on but it did not do any thing.
This is what I did and I am not sure which one fixed this ... but worked.
* Disabled UAC
* Ran the following for the link (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949140) - section -
"You are running a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system, and you receive the error message that is mentioned in the "Symptoms" section while you are using the 32-bit scripting components"
Uninstalled the old factory(HP build) and installed iTune 10.x ... WORKS

Error concerning HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE when installing Quicktime 7.2

This is the error I receive when trying to install Quicktime: "Could not open key: HKEYLOCALMACHINE|Software|Classes|QuickTimePlayerLib.QuickTimePlayerApp|CLSID. Verify that you have access to that key."
I have manually edited the Regedit permissions to include all, restarted the computer, and tried again... get the same Error message. Thanks, Merber

What is error code 2324 when installing iTunes?

What is error code 2324? I got this when trying to re-install iTunes. I was in the middle of the latest iTunes update when I had to cancel it. Now I can't access my music so I tried to reinstall iTunes but I get this error code. I also get a error message saying I need Administrator privlages. Well I am the Admininstrator and logged in as it. I can't reinstall iTunes and when I go to remove programs I don't see it listed only Apple Application and Apple Updates, along with an Apple Mobile Device Support.
I even 'restored' my system to earlier today before I started downloading the iTunes update to no avail. Any ideas/suggestions?

I am trying to install itunes on my Samsung Series 5 PC with Windows 8. I have installed QuickTime to get rid of the "no apple support component" error message, but now I get an error code -45019 that says a component of itunes is still missing after installation. Hangs when installing amd and silicon image drivers

last night installed multipoint server 2012 premium evaluation to a 32GB ssd.
all went well.
then attempted to install amd graphics drivers for hd4850/hd6310 and also drivers for silicon image 3114 pci sata card.
both installers hang part way into installation despite multiple attempts and reboots.
even leaving pc over night failed to resolve hanging.
please advise of work around.
mainboard is asus e35m1-m pro.
objective is working fileserver/multiseat websurfer.

Are those devices supported by Windows 2012 or are you installing drivers for an older version of Windows? If those drivers are for older versions of Windows, that might cause the problem. Have you checked with the manufacturer of those devices for known
issues?

Having said that, please note that error 1321 can occur for several reasons but mainly due to the installer not able to write a file due to a permissions issue or system error(s). To resolve the issue you may try to update the privileges on the parent folder of the file or source listed in the error message.

You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?
