How much will it cost me to set up Express Replacement Service?
When you request Express Replacement Service, Apple places a reserve on your credit card for the Replacement Value of a new iPhone. This covers any damage to or loss of your iPhone that is not covered by Apple’s warranty or an AppleCare product and/or other payments that may be due. If the replacement of your iPhone is determined to be covered by Apple’s Limited Warranty for iPhone, you will only pay the ERS Fee shown in the table below. This fee is waived if your iPhone is covered by an AppleCare product.

How do I submit an application for an Express Replacement Service with an Out of Warranty repair?

My iPhone has a cracked screen and a disloged homescreen button but has all of a sudden stopped working for longer than 10 minutes unless plugged into a power source. I have reasearched and would like to have it replaced under the Express Replacement Service for an Out of Warranty repair. I can't however, locate the page to apply for this service? Concerning the express replacement service, i was wondering if i had to personally drop off my old iphone at a nearby apple store or can a freind do it for me?

since the nearest apple store is a couple hours drive, i was wondering if i had to personally drop off my iphone for the express replacement service or if a friend could do it for me in my place if they were in the area?

Express replacement is generally handled through the mail. They ship you a phone and a box and you send the old one back. However, you can also take the old phone to the Apple store and they can replace it in the store. That would be much easier and less expensive than the express service unless it is that much trouble for you to drive to the Apple store.

Is it possible to request Express Replacement Service (out of warranty) through the online support?

I fell in a river with my iPhone 4S in pocket and after trying the various tips for drying it out, etc, it will not turn back on at all and it is pretty clear it is kaput. I have determined my best option is to send it in to Apple for an out of warranty replacement, and I would really like to pay for the Express Replacement Service so I can get a new one ASAP (I live nowhere near an Apple Store, so that is not an option), but I do not see anywhere to request this through the online support method. Anyone know how one can request ERS online? I would just call in to request it, but I can't do that without a working phone.

If it has been less than 12 months, the "Deauthorize All" command will be grayed out. However, if you contact iTunes Customer Service, they can enable it for you.
Do not start a new account unless you really need it.
And yes, going forward, deauthorize a computer before doing any work on it. If the computer is working and accessible, you can authorize/deauthorize it as often as you wish.

Express Replacement Service question.

After ringing AppleCare regarding an issue I've been having with my iPhone 4S for the past week, I've booked an Express Replacement for my iPhone.
The problem I've been having is that my home button will sporadically stop working, "miss" clicks or register one click as two, and vice versa.
The issue is intermittent, and doesn't happen ALL of the time, but it becomes bothersome to the point that I know there's a problem that needs to be fixed.
What will happen if Apple can't replicate the issue (which is the complication with these intermittent issues). Will Apple charge me the replacement fee? I've mentioned to the person on the phone that the issue is indeed an intermittent and sporadic issue and he agreed that it needs servicing. There is no physical damage to the iPhone. It's been in a protective case from day one, screen protectors etc. And never been dropped or exposed to liquids, dirt, or excessive dust.

You can activate the phone by dialing *228 and following the instructions. You will need to know the last 4 digits of the account holder's social security number or the account password. A warranty replacement phone from Apple will have no affect on your contract. Your phone number will be the same.
If you have trouble activating the phone yourself, take it to your local Verizon Store or call 800-922-0204.

Apple does not have an "express replacement plan" so are you talking about the AppleCare program? If so, and you did purchase that warranty extension, contact the plan by http://www.apple.com/support/applecare

Replacement Service for an iphone which is purchased in another country

I have an iphone5 which its proximity sensor does not work. In Australia I went to Melbourne Apple Center and after inspection they want to replace it with a new one, but after seeing its part number (including LL/A), they refuse to replace it because it is not an Australian iphone. It should be noted that I also have an applecare service for my iphone. Now I am really confused what I shall do for this case. I cannot go to USA at the moment and I need my iphone which now it's really useless for calling when I do not want to use handsfree. My current apple support case number is 426298085 and I have D87469214, 426306629 and D87468601 apple service request numbers which have been canceled due to the mentioned reason.
More easy and better customer services are really expected from apple. I am one of your loyal customer who is sad of your bad services in this case. Please guide me how could I replace my phone at the earliest possible time.

If you seek service in a country that is not the country of purchase, you will comply with all applicable import and export laws and regulations and be responsible for all custom duties, V.A.T. and other associated taxes and charges. For international service, Apple may repair or exchange defective products and parts with comparable products and parts that comply with local standards."
Haha. Known issue maybe means there are several numbers of replacement for this reason. A quick internet search shows such a thing...

What is the Smartnet service for the 2504 license upgrade LIC-CT2504-UPG ?

Can some one explain me what is this service for ? I have the LIC-CT2504-UPG, with the LIC-CT2504-5A (5 AP licenses adder) and I don't understeand what are the SMARTNet services for this licenses ?
Are they needed if I already have the SMARTNet service for the hardware controller ?
Do these services provide something additional on top of the hardware service ?

My iPhone 4s broke today, and I called for an express replacement for it. They charged $30 for it, and put the order in.
The representative failed to mention what I'm supposed to do and how long it would take for my new iphone to come in. I also failed to ask him these questions, I dont know why..
So how long will it take for my new iPhone to come in, and what do I do with my current broken iPhone once the new one does come in?

I have set up an advance replacement service for my iPhone 4, my question is how am I supposed to return my original iPhone 4?
Will the courier give me the new phone and take the old one or will the courier deliver my iPhone 4 And I'll have to post the original one back
