What is fastest processor my ms-6738 support?

I was given this pc, due to it crashing daily, and wrong memory was the problem. So here is what i need to find out.
I have a ms-6738 motherboard, currently running Duron 1200. I would like to upgrade to the fastest amd in the box. I'm told amd xp 2600+, is this correct? And are there any other mods, that i might need? Also, What is the proper memory in ddr, that will be supported. This is my first amd system. Currently using 256 sdram @ fbs 100,(only as a temp, to see if the system worked) because someone installed mismatched mem modules,(pc 3200 & pc2100)then removed ddr memory. I want to upgrade the mem. & processor. I know it will atke 2 gig of mem, but first, i want to upgrade to fastest processor.

The bios should recognize an approved cpu without any jumper changes if the bios is set at defaults and the cmos is cleared before installing the new cpu. Jumper SW-1 changes the cpu front side bus from 100 to 133. If you are using a Thoroughbred core XP series cpu the jumper position should be on pins 2 & 3.
Your Duron runs with a 100 fsb so moving the jumper to the 133 fsb position tried to make the Duron run faster than it was able to run.
The DDR memory will be detected automatically but you must use either DDR or SDRAM, don't mix them.

Socket A processors are no longer in production so you might want to think about a full system upgrade in the future instead of putting money into the system that you have.

Getting K7T Turbo limited edition what is the fastest processor it will run

As the subject sugests my friend is about to give me his motherboard, ram and cpu the motherboard is a K7T Turbo-R (I'm assured this is the limited edition one) but he only has a slow old 1ghz processor on it. I've looked at the bios upgrades and I'm not sure what the fastest chip is that I can fit with the latest bios upgrade as it's written in funny english. It says: Support AMD XP 2400+ & 2600+ (K7T Turbo2 only) does this mean both chips are only supported on the turbo 2 or just the 2600+. My educated guess tells me that I would be able to fit a 2400+ as this is a 133/266 FSB processor but not the 2600+ as this is 333mhz. Please can someone help me I'm just starting to learn about computers and I don't really know what I'm talking about!

ok so i installed a Pioneer A06 burner before and its great but im in the market for a new burner and hdd. I got the hdd but now looking for a new dvd burner. Whats the fastest one i can buy that will work in my G4?

Apple uses modified drives, so it is unlikely the DVR-110 is used in the same configuration as Pioneer retail. Another poster indicated he got a "DVR-187D" from a new G5, this may be a modified 110, I don't know.
My G5 came with a "DVR-117", which was in fact a DVR-108 with feature-hobbling Apple firmware, so the same is probably true of the 187.

Different markets get different firmware versions, which is often what the number differences indicate.
There is no reason any DVR-xxx would not work, it will need PatchBurn for iApp/Finder burn support in anything less than Tiger, and to get all the features of the drive, you may need a 3rd party app such as Roxio's Toast, esp. if you don't have Tiger.

So I guess it's saying that the fastest processor I can go to would be a AthlonXP 2000+. If so, it doesn't make sense to upgrade the processor. Does anyone have any alternatives?

HP discontinued support (read: stopped updating their OS X printer drivers) for a lot of their printers back when Apple released Snow Leopard and dropped even more when Lion was released. This is an HP problem, not an Apple problem.
Exacty what printers are you having problems with?
If any of your printers are on the HPIJS list, try installing the HPIJS drivers (there are 3 files to install, and it won't hurt anything). This solved the issue for me on Snow Leopard, Lion and Mt. Lion with my older HP printers.

HELP NEEDED: What is the phone number for Tech Support?

I cannot find the Tech Support number for QuickTime support. I have been trying to resolve my QuickTime issue for three days and really need phone assistance. The self-reporting Tech Support online form requires a serial number for the product, but QuickTime does not come with a serial number.

When I click on the link to launch QuickTime Pro, it does not launch the program. A small box appears at the bottom of the screen with the QuickTime logo "Apple QuickTime", but when I hover the mouse over the icon, it contains a blank blue screen. If I click on it, nothing happens.
Any suggestions?

I just bought this quicktime pro ( junk ) I can't believe there is no support for it other than these forums. tried several numbers and you end up with some poor boob in INDIA who doesn't know anything about it or they ask for a serial number that you can't give and don't have. WOW what a disapointment this products lack of support turned out to be, wish I didn't buy it.
Anyway loaded it and it plays, but when I try to download the video to my computer the drop box on the right corner does not drop down. what am I missing here.?

There is more to it than that. You'll need to translate (or have someone translate) the strings you want to appear in a different language. Then, you'll need to make your application aware that a translation exists and define when and when you want the translated version to be used instead of the original version.
The steps are outlined in the user's guide under the heading "Understanding the Translation Process" Let me know if you have trouble finding it.

As Rob has pointed out there is no maximum resolution that LR supports, but performance decreases as resolution increases. I'm using an i7-860 quad core system with a 1920 x1080 (2.1 Megapixel) monitor and LR runs well. A 3200 x1800 (5.8 Megapixel) monitor will require ~2.75 x more processing to render the real-time loupe image in the Develop module. Some people have reported sluggish screen updating when making adjustments in the Develop module with even lower resolution monitors such as 2560x1440. Here's a post that discusses the issue:

What will iOS5 features will not be supported on a 3GS?

Everytime a new iOS comes out, the feature set that is supported on the iPhone 3GS gets watered down and watered down. Yeah yeah yeah, I know I need to update my hardware, but it just isn't in the budget this month.
Other than some of the more obvious things, like Siri and mirroring, what features in iOS5 will not be supported on the iPhone 3GS hardware? I thought someone would put out a list, but there is nothing in the wild yet.
