What is Going on??? Help!!!!!
Hi i got an ibook g4 12" 800mhz off of e-bay which was listed as broken. they said it was the logic board that needed replacing.
I cannot get the ibook to boot on its own unless i apply pressure to the left hand side of the tracking pad,then if i release the pressure the screen comes up with loads of bright coulurs etc. now to me this would suggest as listed it is the logic board which is the problem but, when i connected it via firewire to my dual g4 mdd 867mhz and set my tower to target disk mode the ibook boots absoulutely fine. yet the minute i eject the firewire hd from my tower the ibooks screen comes up with loads of different coulours etc and dies.
why is this?????
Also when booted i restarted the ibook and ran a hardware test from the cd and everything in the ibook passed the hardware test e.g logic board,memory etc
can anyone tell me what they think might be wrong with my ibook????
is it possible for a logic board to pass the hardware test and still be faulty??

I read a report recently (don't remember where) that
the video card loosens on the logic board and causes
this problem. The solution is to place a small shim
between the bottom case and the video card. Try a web
search and see what you come up with.

You cannot delete the App store App. It is somewhere on your Home screens, or you have dragged it into a folder. Any folder. If all else fails Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout. -

Do you have any restrictions for purchasing apps on the phone? Settings > General > Restrictions. If you have a Mac computer or another Apple device can you purchase things in the App Store using the same Apple ID on something else?

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH VERIZON THAT THEY CAN'T DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO? HELP PLEASE!!!!
Over the last month and a half I have called and spoke to 3 or 4 different Verizon customer service agents about a problem with my account & every time I am told that the problem will be fixed only to have nothing happen. What is going on here?
Around the beginning of March I made the mistake of edging up & my account has been screwed up ever since. I was using the iphone 5 & had only $130 left before the iphone 5 was completely paid for (I had been making payments on it every month through the edge program) and my contract was up in April. I stupidly decided to edge up & Verizon sent me the iphone 6+ & told me I was to send them my iphone 5. I decided that I would rather keep the iphone 5 so I could pay the remaining $130 left on the edge agreement & I would own the iphone 5 outright. I returned the iphone 6+ (yes it was within the 14 day window that Verizon gives you to return a new device) to a Verizon store and paid the $35 restock fee. I never activated the iphone 6+.
Somehow or other Verizon started me on a whole new edge agreement as if I had kept the iphone 6+. Verizon says that I have $600 some dollars left to pay on my edge agreement. I've already made almost $600 total edge payments over the last year and I had $130 left to pay. Why is Verizon trying to charge me again for a phone I've already paid for??? My last monthly payment due was $185, it's usually around $110 & the extra charges were because of the "new edge device" agreement I was put on.
I understand mistakes happen but this is ridiculous. I've called and spoke to at least 3 different Verizon customer service agents and they've all told me they would correct my account and I would see the correction on my verizon in a week or 10 days or something like that so I wait and nothing happens. I was told the extra $75 I paid last month would be credited & put towards my account, I was told by one of Verizons people I spoke with that I would be getting some form I needed to sign in the mail but it never came. I am so tired of wasting so much time on a mistake Verizon made but seems unwilling to fix. Why is it so difficult to remedy my account?We want to see this resolved once and for all, cem421! Please help! I updated safari and yes it is an older desktop, but now all of the sudden tabs I have open will freeze on me. I can see what is going on, but am unable to type anywhere on the page! I have to shut down safari and then open up a whole new window to even attempt to get it to stop! It is driving me insane not to mention I need my desktop to work properly. I beg for someone to help me with this.

So, i recieve a new TODAY due to my other ones software stuffing up due to a stuff up in the new software update. Alls well and good, i leave the store drive home which is a hours drive mind you, make a phone call we talk for a while, it cuts out. I didnt think anything of it. Next phone call the person im speaking with cant hear me, 5 phone calls later i turn on speaker phone horray they can hear me. WHAT IS GOING ON??? I have had that many problems with my iphones but this is behond a joke...brand new phone thats already not working!!!!! I've tried to restore it and do everything i can but its not fixing anything. Im hoping someone out there can help because im done with Apple after this because this ludacris. Thanks in advanced :-)

I not able to open any links in the emails I receive and get an "Error: No associated application could be found" when I click on a link. HELP!! What's going on? This happened after I downloaded Chrome and then decided to delete it.

Cannot download new U2 album. Says purchased on my account but no evidence anywhere and I definitely did not purchase it. Can anyone help with what is going on?
It was given free to everyone on tuesday as part of the iPhone 5 event/announcement, so it will show as purchased in the store.
If this is on your iPhone then either turn Settings > iTunes & App Store > Music (under 'show all') 'on' - it should then show in the Music app with a cloud icon against it for downloading.
Or go to the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app, select Music, and it might then show under 'Various' - when downloaded it should correctly be under U2 in Music.
If you are using your computer's iTunes then you should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in Edit > Preferences (iTunes > Preferences on a Mac) - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option on a computer is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download. -
I am not sure what is going on with my ipod but my ipod will not even let me open my wifi or apps. I don't know why can anyone help?

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I'm having trouble with my clone tool. When I am cloning it appears OK (the image within the brush circles is the correct colours) however once the cloning is done, it processes leaving me with a darkened blur. Any help with what's going on would be appreciated.

What is going on with Lion??? Something has happened to my Mac Pro since I got Lion! I cannot save documents in Word, or at least if I do I have no idea where they are after I save then, Word does not know either! I have never seen this before? As a conseqience I have lost files despite saving them in the usual way......God knows where they are! In the middle of all this I am suddenly asked for my Mobile Me password,,,,,in Word??? What is going on? Help!

What is going on with the Iphone4 home button locking up? I see lots of people having issues with the button becoming unresponsive, but no resolution.
Suggestions include:

ReSync
Push harder,
etc.

No they do not and no it is not affecting a large portion of the user community.
If it is an actual hardware issue, the only fix is to repair or replace the hardware.
If it is a software issue, restoring as new will fix it. -
Please help! printer error- screen displays "C4EB8000" anyone know what is going on?
I have a project due tomorrow and I haven't been able to get my printer to work! It is an HP Photosmart C5550 All-in-One and whenever I turn it on the buttons flash and the screen displays a blue background with a white power sign (the rotated Q or circle with line thing) and below it says "C4EB8000".
Not sure what is going on! I know nothing about computers and printers so anything would help

Please can any help me. My iMac G5 2005 version has just pack up on me. When I press the start button the front light comes on and then disappears within a second and it then goes quiet and nothing happens. Can any body help on what to do or explain what's going on. I would call Apple Care or take it into the store (you have 14 days from the date of purchase to return the item and 1 year from the date of purchase for warranty replacement)
This is not normal and is something you should have Apple fix for you.
