hey i cant figure this out please anyone, i just got this ipod and im new to it... i was trying to update it because the little folder with a ! mark came up and thats what the troubleshooter said to do.. so i downloaded the universal updater and when it was done it said that my ipod was not supported by the application..? but when i downloaded it, it said it was compatible with ALL ipod models... soo what the **** is wrong? PLEASE anyone help me out

i got it after i hooked it to the computer.. before i did that it was working great then i went to download some songs and boom it wont even get past the folder and exclamation mark... THANKS for the help its much apreciated

I still can't attach my ipod to my machine and play any music. Additionally, if I try to update any data on the iPod (song titles, artist names, etc), this also ultimately ends up freezing my machine (spinning beachball). I've got the most recent update here, and I believe this to be the cause of the problem. I am also totally updated on my OS. 2nd Generation iPod, plenty of songs -- works fine other than the lousy battery situation (didn't have my receipt, so couldn't participate in the class action suit). I have a 4G 40 gig iPod that would lock up my computer if I plugged it in (Win XP). It would skip songs, freeze, do all kinds of weird stuff accompanied by a clicking sound. If your iPod is doing this, most people I have read about (including myself) found that by hitting your iPod hard on the right side seems to fix the problem. Mine wasn't working for about two weeks, I finally gave up all the other things I was doing and tried it. Now it works fine again. I also thought it was the "1-10-2006" updater, but I think it was just something loose in the iPod.

I had selected to never check for updates on Firefox 10. Well 5 minutes ago Firefox went and updated itself to v11...what?!!!

I have addons that I can't afford not to have working and these constant updates have caused issues in the past.
This ridicilous versioning system that has been taken by firefox is going to bring it down.
I was reading some other posts and will be switching to Firefox ESR.

WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE LATEST UPDATE?? Ever since the May update for the Samsung Note 3 I've been having issues with my phone! Battery charge does not hold, it charges slow and then drains VERY fast. I can't even make it through the day without charging. Today it went from 100% to 37% in a few hours just sitting on my desk! Also, having camera issues, I snap a picture and it takes so long to process that it doesn't take the picture I was aiming at but a blurred image of the area around my focal point! Also, since the update I keep getting the message "touch wiz has stopped" when I press the navi key. Are this issues being corrected? Is Samsung or Verizon fixing these issues. When will the next update come out? The only suggestion I'm hearing is to reset the phone, but I'd lose settings, apps, etc. That is NOT a solution!! I'm very frustrated, and angry. This phone is way too expensive to have to deal with these issues!

Check the Apple Service Status(***) page… http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/ Wait for all systems to show green.

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

Three basic questions (which you may have covered with the customer service people already):
For your speed of movie download problem, how fast is your internet connection? The movie file is probably about 1.5 GB (much larger than the videos and short films you've downloaded before), which could take 20 minutes to download on a really fast connection (at a University), an hour or so on cable, 3+ hours on mid-range DSL, or a lot longer if your connection is slower than that. 8 hours does seem too long, but it's possible the problem is with your internet service, not iTunes. Your router is obviously not the problem if it still takes 8 hours after you've bypassed it.
For the iPod transferring problem, does your iPod have the latest software update (v.1.1.2, which came in the iPod Updater 2006-06-28 for Windows)? You can see what version you have by clicking on your iPod in iTunes and looking at the Summary, where it will tell you what version of the iPod software you've got and will let you download the new one if you need it.
And can you transfer music files to your iPod using iTunes 7 without problems? Can you transfer those old short films to it? Is it just the new movies that won't transfer?
You wouldn't be the only person to be having problems with iTunes 7 for Windows (I'm one of them, too), but it would be helpful to eliminate the basic stuff before giving up.

Beyond resetting what have you tried?
Common fixes can be to use a different USB port or different USB cable. You can also try updating iTunes, or uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes.
Does your computer see it at all? Is there a little chirp when you plug it in?

I've noticed this too...when I'm in Safari, scrolling is a bit jerky and sometimes it stops even though I'm still scrolling...my fingers go right off the trackpad. Hello guys,
I am busting my head to find out what is going wrong with this config and cant figure it out since i am not an advanced cisco technician.
Problem is that i cant access the 94.70.142.127 server that is supposed to be in a DMZ zone.
I know it is a bit chaotic but would really appreciate any help since i am running on a deadline.
I am building the config step by step and although it seems to be working access to the server all of the sudden is denied.
No idea if its a NAT issue a firewall issue or a security audit issue.
There are 3 vlans.
Vlan 1 is the inside network.
Vlan 2 is the DMZ server
Vlan 3 is the Management Network.

Here is the thing.
You said you are trying to access 94.70.142.113 and that is a server on the DMZ but based in your configuration that is not true

So 192.168.0.101 is on Vlan 1 witch is the in-zone

I haven't done the IOS update for the 7.1.1 yet and actually afraid too. However can anyone at Apple advise on what is going on with battery life. I keep my apps closed when not in use yet I have to charge my battery everyday. I use my phone for business and this is really causing an issue, dropped a call that was important!! This has been happening for at least the past 2 weeks.If I don't leave my phone on the charger it drains really fast. I'll be at 100% and less than 30 minutes later it's at 83%. What's the deal APPLE??!!!

There is no Apple in this user to user forum.
Take your phone to the Apple store and have the guys at the Genius bar take a look at it.
also use the search function at the top right of the forum, "battery" look for the thread with the green checkmark.

Same issue, since last night. Can't sign in to iTunes, download apps, or updates to apps on any device. I have iPhone 4S, iPad mini, MacBook Pro. East coast, writing this at 1:21pm EST. Changing password doesn't work. I can't log in with my iCloud address either. I have however noticed at least that if I enter the wrong password, I just get the incorrect password message. Using the right password gets the FATAL:: message every time.
I have my devices set to UK for the region even though I am in the US. Though that might have something to do with it so I switched to US- no change, same problem.
I agree that acknowledgement via their system status would be appropriate. Irritating that they are not at least publicly acknowledging there is a problem. I would feel much less concerned if I knew that they were aware and working on it. Can't find a support number anywhere but I did send a brief message via their help/contact page.
