Then you need to change the store that you bought the apps from - correct?
Go to the featured tab of the App Store and tap on your ID at the bottom. Tap View Apple ID. Enter your password. Go to Country/Region and change it to the correct store. -
I am being charged for international msgs which i haven't sent to a number of the UK.i tried to activate my iMessage and FaceTime using wifi but then it didn't connect. all settings have been turned off in my phone! i also have reset my phone with all the settings. but when i contacted my carrier, he said that the balance deduction is because of the international messages i have sent, but i have sent NONE! every time i switch on my phone, balance gets deducted. imessage and facetime are all disabled! but then the problem started since yesterday when i tried to activate them but had disabled them all at the next moment! but the charges are still being applicable for some international messages as per my mobile carrier. what to do? is there some problem with my phone or carrier?

What recourse fo the imac G5s that are not "whisper quiet"
I bought a reconditioned imac G5 about three months ago and mine is definitely not "whisper quiet." As I am a musician who records with a mic, this is a very big problem for me. I took the machine to the Apple Store in San Francisco and they took it in back and told me that the noise is not unusual enough to warrant service. I didn't kick and scream, I didn't argue. The "genius" claimed that there was no fix at the moment, but would contact me if a "fix" was discovered.
I can hear my computer whirring loudly when I'm in the other room. That, to me, constitutes a very loud whisper. Perhaps their ads should say "stage whisper quiet." Sitting in front of the machine, most anyone would say it was quite loud. Far louder than my old imac G4.
I'm feeling very frustrated. I'm left with a machine that I can't really sell in good faith, sold to me by a company that is pretending that there isn't a problem. The only solution I can think of is to get a monitor and stuff the main computer in the other room. But just the idea of that really tweaks me off. It shouldn't be so...
I glad to know that not everyone is having this noise problem, but I'd sure like to know what the difference is between my noisy imac and the whisper quiet ones. I've heard about people having the midplane's replaced and the power supplies replaced, but how does one get Apple's attention on this and get them to respond to the problem in a compassionate and timely manner?

As soon as I got the thing out of the box I called Apple and complained. I had to go through several tech support personnel before I got to a specialist. He agreed and said that he heard the noise through the phone. I had to argue and start to get rude with the guy, and I spent over an hour on the phone before he would agree that the computer was DOA and that I could return it for a full refund. I then went to the Apple store and bought a brand new one, and low and behold the same exact ear piercing noise that I can hear from a room away. I then took this computer to the Genius bar the the guy said that they are loud and there is nothing he could do. It drives me crazy, does anyone have a fix???? I have been so disappointed with this issue, but it is good to know that I am not alone and that I am not just hearing things. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

While doing the most recent firmware upgrade, my new iMac hung on the spinning ball. The instructions said "not" to turn off power during the process, so I don't know what to do. The ball is still spinning.
If you tried resetting the ipod and it still keeps having the same issue you described, try setting the ipod to disk mode.

If you can get the ipod into disk mode, connect it to the computer and rrestore the ipod using itunes.

I have an iphone 4 with videos on it that I'd like to transfer to an IMac so that I can email them. (the iphone isn't in use anymore.) What's the procedure for transfering videos from an iphone to an iMac?
Connect the iPhone to your Mac with its USB cable and launch iPhoto. In iPhoto you can select which files to upload into the library. Once in the library export them out of iPhoto to a folder on the Desktop via File ➙ Export ➙ File Export with Kind=Original. That will give you copies of the videos in the folder for use outside of iPhoto.
If you want to bypass importing into iPhoto try launching Image Capture and manually upload the selected video files to the folder of your choice.

Rather than convert, you'd be better off capturing with a more current version of the program -- one that supports AVCHD video. Otherwise, you're in for a lot of headache. A converter isn't going to solve your problems.
BTW, when you say Premiere 6, do you mean Premiere 6 -- which is over 10 years old? (There was no Premiere Elements 6.)
Trust me on this: Capture with a Mac version of Premiere Elements 11 or 12 and your video will be perfectly compatible with any Mac program. -
I cannot synch movies to my iPad. This has worked for me in the past. I keep getting an error message that I am not connected to the internet. Yet, I certainly am. How else could I post this message. I can listen to music clips from the iTunes store, fetch my email, and read current newspapers on the internet. I restarted both my iMac and my Ipad and that didnot help.
I completely understand what is happening. I know that you are connected to the Internet. I made the suggestion because I have seen it work in similar circumstances. The Apple iTunes servers can be a bit fussy about things and sometimes rebooting the router clears up this miscommunication between iTunes and your network.
Have you tried signing into your account and then try to sync again. Go to Store>View Account. You will have to enter your password. Then try to sync again. Or try signing out completely in Store>Sign out. Quit iTunes, sign in again and then try to sync again.
Sometimes refreshing settings will help clear up weird problems. -
I have a macbook retina and a imac 2012. I am looking at getting a thunderbolt display. I have currently my macbook retina connected to my imac and using target display when i need the other display. I am thinking of getting another display to use on my imac for when i need more room on my imac. My question is what will happen when i switch my imac in target display for my macbook. the ask a question person said my macbook will take control of all three but this other website said the thunderbolt would turn into the primary for my imac and the imac would be my secondary for my macbook. I was wondering if anyone knows for sure or can try it and tell me.
Assuming you have a 27-inch iMac, you use a Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort cable. If it happens to be a 21-inch model, no combination of display cables or adaptors will work.

hopefully they can help. You may also be interested to know that for some reason it is just not available to a lot of people at the same time. Appears to be an issue of more users than their servers can handle. Has happened periodically for at least 6 months that I know of but apparently users are able to use within several days if there are no other issues with the users device. -
