If you have never synced with iTunes before and you have content on the iPad, you need to transfer the content into iTunes before you can sync, or iTunes will erase your iPad and replace it with what ever is currently in your iTunes library. If iTunes on your computer has no content in it, you will totally erase your iPad of all of the content that you downloaded.

If you find that it is set to the correct region, log out of your iTunes Store account, restart your iPad, and sign into your account again.

Does anything happen when you touch the 'slide to unlock' bar ?
If not then have you tried a soft-reset to see if it works after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I suppose a tougher user question would be this: I have an HDV camera. Why does iMovie force me to edit all my projects in DV instead of HDV? The answer: It doesn't. It lets you shoot and edit your HDV for delivery tomorrow.
So that's the reason iMovie HD is important to me: When I get an HDV camera, at some time I WILL be able to burn my iMovie HDV project onto an HD DVD.
We can't expect all the hardware and software for recording, editing and burning HD DVDs to all arrive on the same day. (Even if it were today, there still wouldn't be a way to play the HD DVD on an HDTV.)
But after spending hours, days or weeks working on an iMovie project, I want to know that my HDV project to be ready for HD when all the other pieces come together. Our iMovie HDV projects WILL be ready, because we're ahead of the product delivery curve. In one, two or three years I won't have to trash all the work I've done and start over.
What can we do today? Burn a widescreen SD DVD of the HDV project.
It's a win/win, but some of the winning will be in the future.

Sorry, but you are describing many different problems all in one go. Have you changed your FaceBook account and the passwords for all your email accounts ?
You say you have changed all the passwords for all the accounts you use, including your Apple/iTunes account if you have one. If this hasn't done the trick I suggest you restore your iPad to factory conditions, set it up again from scratch, and download the things you've paid for again. You will not need to pay for things bought through your iTunes account again.

What to do with the iPad when you have a new computer?

My old computer broke down, beond repair.
I did not have a chance to save anything from my iPad nor from my iPod.
Now I installed Tunes on a new computer, (Windows 7) but is says to sync with the new computer, it will delete everything.
Does that mean I will lose all my contacts, my photo's and all my notes?
The music and video is no problem, because I do have backups from that.

If you copy the entire iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer, it'll be happy. Do you still have the hard drive from the old computer?
You'll need the old hard drive and you'll need to be able to connect it to the new computer. Usually that means you would need an external hard drive enclosure, but NewerTech makes an inexpensive device that makes this about as difficult as making toast (I'm not kidding.)

You literally plug the hard drive (no mounting hardware) straight down into the slot. Plug it into your PC via a USB cable (which is included with the device) and turn it on. Windows will recognize the external hard drive and you'll be able to copy all your important files.
There are two types of hard drives in the world: (1) those that have failed, and (2) those that are going to fail. Hard drives are cheap. Get a spare hard drive and start making backups. You may go years between hard drive failures, but it will _eventually_ happen and, when it does, you'll be glad you had a backup.

Yes content deleted from one device is deleted from another if it's deleted from within the application that uses it. Deleting the iCloud account from a device won't affect any other device.
You should turn on find my phone on each device and if it then gets stolen you can wipe or lock the device from another device or iCloud.com

Ipad 2 phantom touching. I have read several forums about phantom touching, but this seems to only happen to our ipad when it is really low on battery. We reset it to factory and took to Apple. Anyone have this problem only with a low battery?

The problem seems to happen when the battery is low. It seems fine now that the battery is fully charged. I took it to Apple Genius and they ran a diagnotic test and everything checke out fine. The tech told me to watch it and if it hapens again they would replace it. It is only a month old and we are already having problems with it. Does anyone know if there is a fix in the works or is the only fix to replace it?

What will happen to my iPhotos when I wipe my Macbook Air?

I've got a lot of 'Other' taking up storage on my macbook and I'm probably going to wipe it and see if that'll free up some space. However I'm concerned about my iPhotos - say I didn't transfer them to another hard drive, would they be on my iPhoto again when I logged back onto my apple account on the freshly-wiped macbook? Or am I going to need to transfer them all to a hard drive? I can't seem to find a clear answer to this anywhere, but maybe I just don't understand how iPhoto works.
p.s. are there any other back-up systems I should check before wiping my macbook? I've got all my documents off iCloud and my initial files but I feel like it's all been a bit too easy (especially where apple is concerned, ha ha).

There are many important files in that category that must not be deleted.
Download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper and Gran Perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Transfer to an external HDD the file you do not want on the MBA or delete them. Do not forget to empty Trash.
Time machine is an excellent backup system. The best strategy is for two backups and I can recommend using Carbon Copy Cloner as a supplement system. It can create a boot drive as well as perform incremental backups. I use both.

If you want seperate accounts for managing apps and purchasing content, basically yes, you need two account and would need to repurchase. However, if you just want seperate ID for iMessgae, icloud and such, you can do that and still continue sharing the same Id for apps and itunes.

Yes it would be her device you remove your account from, but she would need an email address to have an Apple ID.
I guess if it's only messages that you want her to use, you could create an iCloud email address alias and let her use that for messaging.
First you'd need to create an alias for your iCloud address, you can do this at iCloud.com > mail, click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner and select preferences, then choose the accounts tab. The alias could be her name.
After creating an alias you will need to add it to her device as an ID for messages, go to settings > messages > send & receive > Add another email.
While you are there make sure she only sends and receives messages from that address, you also need to ensure the same settings on your devices use anything but that address.
