First, get the domain file that is in the HD/Users/Home/Library/Applications Support/iWeb folder on the old hard drive and copy it to the same locatilons on the new hard drive.
NOTE: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Home/Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible in Lion or Mt. Lion enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and press the Return key - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
For Mavericks, 10.9, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.
To open your domain file in Lion or Mountain Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.

You can download an already compiled version with this link: iWeb Switch Domain.
Just launch the application, find and select the domain file in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder that you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

Hi,
Right now you cannot download anything to the Iphone, as there is no user access to the file system.
You can download to your computer and then sync to move pictures, songs, etc to the phone through itunes for now.

And when you try to sync an ibook from your Mac's iTunes to your iPad what happens ? You've selected the iPad device's Books tab and on that have selected the book(s) that you want to sync to the iPad ?

I updated my ipod touch 4g to iOS 6.0 and what happened to the youtube app? And why does my ipod keep on crashing when ever I go to the app store? Now i can never buy anything!!! or watch youtube videos and I'm always on youtube!!!!!!!!

As has been very well publicized in the news and all over the internet and forums, youtube is not part of ios 6. Google it.
You can get the app from the app store if you like.
Have you tried the basics from the manual to stop the crashing?

My website upload does not look like the preview

I used 398 nature template to make a new website (using DreamWeaver). Everything went well until I uploaded the files to the server. Here is the preview:

When you Define a Site in DW, you keep all of your site's files in a local root folder. When you upload to your server, you're moving the content of your local root to the server root folder.
Basically, aside from some possible "server only" files/folders (like the cgi-bin folder for example), your local site and remote site directory structures should match exactly.
So, if you have your .css files in a folder called css that's on the same directory level as your index.html page locally, the remote .css files must also be found within a css folder on the same directory level as the remote index.html page.

Fully Charged icon. What does it look like?

When the phone is fully charged, what does the icon look like? It always shows a little charge bolt when charging. All I've noticed was the green battery is filled up with no message.

Therefore, it should be a FULL GREEN BATTERY on the top right?
In the battery there should be no message..
It just shows you when the battery is full and not full

What has happened to my website I published in Mobile Me with IWeb?

I set up a website in mobile me using Iweb when I first got my computer. I can still get to the actual website to view it like anyone else can but I can't get back to the place through IWeb where I can updload more picturues, videos, blogs, etc. It keeps sending me to a new set up page like mine no longer exists. I can't find any online help for it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm thinking this has something to do with the Cloud?

Make sure you download any folders and files you need from MobileMe before the end of the month. You can get there from the Finder Go menu and follow the path iDisk/My iDisk. Just drag stuff onto your desktop.

Wordpress is a nasty and confusing way to run a blog - never mind a website - so you might want to take a look a Google's Blogger which is now mobile compatible. There is a new import/export function but I haven't tried it. Perhaps one of the forums blog experts might like to?

TS4009 I need to get a message to Apple, iCloud...having so many problem with it. I just went in and deleted all of my iCloud emails, that just stay stuck there. What has happened now is that it was synced with Yahoo. I've lost all my yahoo mess. HELP!

I am so sorry that I ever signed up for iCloud. The only thing that ever worked is that I had two messages drop into iCloud when there was an open wifi connection. It is synced with Yahoo. It was taking up so much space as I had a lot of attachments, nothing sent, they just sat there, I had to cut and paste them into my Yahoo! account and send them.
Last nigth were were looking at the reason that my brand new Mac Air had ZERO memory. It was the iCloud messages that were stuck. I then went in and deleted everything. I have tried to turn iCloud off via a pull down menu. Did not work. I have now lost all of my sent and received messages in my Yahoo Account. My inbox is completely empty. I believe I still have sent messages though. These were messages that I had cut and pasted into Yahoo! to get them sent. Now my Yahoo! is wiped out.
I am a writer. I need those messages recovered. I am an end user. I need instructions in English on how to recover this. If there is anyone that can help me, I am desparate. I imagine Apple could retrieve them for me though there is no where to contact them.
I thought it was cool until, such time as I LOST EVERYTHING.

Lord K. Thank you. Yes I am within the 90 time period, however I travel Intertionally and I can not receive not make a call to Apple. I was just at the Genius Bar in Chicago and they said, don't worry about it. It just floats out there, however, I can not recover my messages on a flash drive. I need to go back to my old computer which I don't have with me. My messages were in folders for a lawsuit. It is going to take an incredible amount of work for me to, you have no Idea. We are talking thousands of pages! I the defendent will have them during discovery so I am not so worried. However, I can not bring them to him on a Flashdrive when I meet with him without an extraordinary amount of presssure on my part. THis is not just some little email issue. I was looking at a u tube video when all of a sudden when I tried to click the video off, the cursor started creating a circle around it and was moving all over and before I knew it, the google home page has shrunk down to a very small size all of the google eg web, video, etc details are in very small thumbnail rows on the left top of the screen and my tool bar is completely gone

To get the tool bars back use Alt or F10 in your keyboard, then View -> Toolbars
* you will probably be able to just click on the relevant toolbar option such as the navigation toolbar to get it back
* if that fails you may need to consider the customise, and either drag items back, or restore the defaults

I'm having to clear cache and cookies daily to have certain favorite websites appear normally - why does that intervention only work for a short period?

I'm having to clear cache and cookies from the tools menu sometimes 2-3 times daily in order to make certain websites appear normally. The websites will have mostly script, which will be placed in columns, and very little in the way of graphics, maybe just a still picture of two. After I clear the cache and cookies, the sites go back to normal, but maybe after a few hours when I go back to the website it will re-appear as described above. The url below is the most commonly affected but it also happens on others like Yahoo news.

In order to uninstall a possibly unwanted extension, please do the following:
#From the Firefox window click the Firefox button at the top left and select ''Add-ons'', or, if the Firefox button is not shown, click the ''Tools'' menu and click ''Add-ons''.
#Once the Add-on Manager has opened in a new tab, click the ''Extensions'' button on the left side of the window.
#You should now see a list of your installed extensions on the right side together with buttons on the right side of each extension.
#To remove an extension from Firefox, simply click the ''Remove'' button on PDF Viewer (what is this?). You should see a message that informs you about the successful removal of the add-on.
#Note that some add-ons require a Firefox restart to be removed completely. To perform a Firefox restart after the add-on removal, click the ''Restart now'' link in the message.

What does this look like?

Today when I turned on my MBP it seems that near the top right there is a darker crescent shaped area. I don't remember having this until today, though I have been using my laptop in clamshell mode for a while.
Not sure why this is happening because when I view it from different angles I do not see this, only when it's straight on.
Any idea on what the issue could be and, or how to fix it?
