What is happening when Firefox opens in HTML or some other similar language after I have uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, installed 3.0.8?
One of the PCs at school came up with this problem. IE opens fine on the computer. I tried uninstalling plug-ins. To no avail. When I open Firefox, part of the page may look like the regular Firefox page but most of it is in the web page language
"Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"<br />
"Remove the Cookies" from sites that cause problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"<br />
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

There is also security software (firewalls) that can cause such issues, so you may need to look there as well.

Hello,
I got very unspecific question, but I don't know where to start. I have an open xml document which gets generated by a third party tool. If I open the document using open xml sdk it looks VERY different from how it looks like when I opened and saved it before
using Word 2013.
I'm trying to get an understanding on whats Word doing! From what I've seen it's doing some remodelling on the xml file, since it looks very different (other and way more descendants than before) and I would like to achieve the same thing using open xml.
Although this might be already to much information: The generated word documents contains html code with links to pictures. After Word has touched the file the picture is inside a drawing element, before it's not but in Word both versions look the same.
I'm thankful for any help you can give me.

This forum is discussing about Open XML developing. This is not exactly an OpenXML SDK questions. To be frank, I do not know exactly what Word opens and saves a documents either (this is the implementation details of the product).

What do you mean by “other and way more descendants”? Do you mean that you want to add new nodes in the xml document? In my option, different objects in word have different nodes. You could refer the link below for more information about Word processing.

Many fonts don't render when Firefox opens local html file
I'm using a 3rd-party program called Fontlist. It reads all fonts in the Windows fonts folder, and then uses a user-chosen line of text to generate an html file on the hard drive that shows the line of text displayed in each font. Since it's a 3rd-party program, I don't have control over it's html programming.
When the generated html file is browsed with Internet Explorer, all fonts display correctly. When browsing it with Firefox, perhaps half or more of the fonts have an ordinary-looking backup font substituted. I've not been able to discern any pattern as to what kind of font displays correctly or does not.
In researching the problem online, I saw a hint that setting security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy to false might fix the issue. I tried it, and it did not have any effect. Also, in the Fonts and Colors Advanced option, I've checked the box to let web pages choose their own fonts.
Might there be any other settings that would enable Firefox to render virtually any industry-standard font installed on the system? This can affect any html files from 3rd-party sources, not just Fontlist.Do the font-family names that have a space have quotes around them?

What is happening when firefox reports (Not Responding)?
More often than I'd like (at least a dozen times per day) Firefox goes non-responsive and reports (Not Responding) in the banner. (In fact it happened while I was trying to access this page!)
Does mozilla have any tools/add-ons that I could install that Firefox could activate when this happens to try to diagnose the problem? i.e. when the banner is updated to display (Not Responding), could firefox also do things like:
- ICMP ping the proxy server (if there is one) to see if it is a local network problem.
- ICMP ping the destination website in question to check end-to-end network latency.
- setup an HTTP connection (wget?) to the proxy server (if there is one) to see if the proxy server is the bottleneck?
- setup an HHTP connection(wget?) to the destination website to measure the response time for a new connection?

I was working with many open tabs and firefox crashed. Now it won't connect to the internet at all.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Try telling us exactly what version of iTunes is installed and what if any messages appears when trying to update it.

Running Windows XP service pack 3. Updated Firefox from 8.0 to 9.0. Now when Firefox opens "The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded" is displayed in a window and no home page appears. What's wrong?
That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

An erroe happened when i open my itunes , error -42032,my ipod wasn't connect to my pc at that point, the results is that i can't add songs and movies that i'm buying or had already bought in my ipod because it says that my pc isn't authorized to do it. the point is that i'm using this pc for the last 3 years with my itunes and ipod

I have had NOTHING but problems/issues with Firefox in the last week. One day all my tabs disappeared. Support had me start another profile. Two days later all my bookmarks disappeared. The next day I can't print ANYTHING from American Greetings. Today I can't watch a church service on Saddleback. My computer is running so slow I have to reboot twice a day. NONE of this happens when I open the internet on Explorer. I am about to uninstall Firefox if I can't get some answers/help.

When Firefox opens here is NO toolbar! But Incredimail shows as something up there, even though I deleted it from my Firefox Home page. I do not want anything to do with Incredimail. How do I correct all of this and get a server that I want?
That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash. Frm-92101 happens when I open a form from another form and close it.
Frm-92101 happens when I open a form from another form, check something, show a message to the user and exit the form to the previous form.
Forms version: 10.1.2.0.2. Java: 1.6.0_23. Browser: IE6
When I put before the "EXIT_FORM" two messages, everything is fine and the second form is closed and I repeat to the first form just as I wanted.
In forms 9.0 it didn't happen.
Does it have a connection with the fact I use JRE instead of JInitiator?

There are numerous causes of the FRM-92101 error. I recommend you start your investigation by tracing your Forms session so you can see what your form is doing when the error occurs. Check out My Oracle Support document How to Use Forms Trace with Forms [ID 209372.1] for information on how to enable the trace. Also, take a look at My Oracle Support document Known Causes of FRM-92101 Error In Forms [ID 604633.1].

I have just found that there is a "Synchronize" command in one of the main attached libraries, and when I comment that command the application works well. But I don't want to comment it because it's a great library and I assume it has a part in the system.
I have discovered that in the new Forms' help, the fact that the System.Current_Item mustn't be null so the command "Synchronize" will work, is mentioned. In the old Forms' help, that fact is not mentioned.
So I tried to put it inside a condition that checks if the current item is not null, but the compiler doesn't recognize the "current_item". I don't know why. Because it's a library? So how can I check this? I can sent it as a parameter, but I don't want. Do you know something about it? Thank you. -

No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -

BTW, I got another issue, hope can help me, I'm updating my OS X maverick to new one 10.9.2, while updating I need to restart my laptop to update, however i got this error message, "Install Failed! OS X could not be installed on your computer. The installer encounter an error that caused the installation fail. Contact the software manufacturer for assistance. Click Restart to restart your computerand try installing again." I did that so many times, unfortunately, nothing happens. This is the 1st time Ive ever encounter that issue while updating my Mac. Now, i cannot even go to my main menu, coz everytime I turn on my laptop it's shows the updating process and go back to failed installation. Thanks. -
What's happening when I change tempo?
I have some audio tracks that have been chopped into regions. The regions are butted up to one another. They are pieces from different tracks that have been put together.
I noticed that if I change the tempo in the transport window, I end up either with space added between the regions or the regions end up overlapping. It seems to have no affect on other audio tracks that are have only one region although not sure.
What is happening here and why? Is there some setting that would prevent this? I don't remember this happening on previous projects.Only certain types of files are automatically time stretched when changing tempo..
Depending on what files you've imporrted/recorded determines this.
Don't be offended when someone mentions read the manual, this is a user forum where everyone gives of their free time. There are those that come here who think they are entitled to information without doing any work... (at all... period.) I think many that post here get tired of being used in that manner. Not saying that you've done that but the "new standard" is not reading the manual.
