What is in CCS FI/CA & DM?

Hi Experts,
Can some tell me what are the practical scenarios involved in :
CCS,
FI/CA
Device Mgmt
Thanks

CCS: front office communication to clients; Involves (amongst others) the handling of complaints, services and move-in/out scenario's
FI/CA: covers the financial flow: G/L accounting, dunning, payment, etc
device management: covers the technical ("on the field") part: replacing devices, inspection, meter reading, etc...
If you'd like to know the details, check out the utilities solution map (service.sap.com/utilities)

  • Instead of CLI lets talk about APR.

So I see a ton of info on here about CLIs and people sharing their luck with limits.  I have learned a lot form those and have really improved my profile a ton in less than a year. Great info and has helped me a ton. What about APR reductions though?  I literally have no idea if the process for reducing APR is easy, hard, not possible, or what between lenders.  I was wondering if there was good info to know around this, I never carry a balance of any type and never plan to but if one day I had to I sure don't want to pay 24% or something.  I personally got a 4% reduction of APR from Barclays not long ago just by asking the right department.  Can I do this again?  I don't know, can I try with other lenders?  Just thought if there was some good info around this it might be nice to share what is possible with different lenders.  I'd try to get them down just becasue, kinda like getting high CL that I'll never fully use!    I'll start, I have only tried this one time with Barclays, called in and asked for the retentions department.  Asked about an APR reduction once connected not expecting to get it and they lowered my APR from 24.99 to 20.99 forever.  They also gave me 0% intrest for 9 months after that without me even asking. Lastly they gave me a CLI but this thread is not about that!  I've never tried elsewhere.

And yes, I know Barclays loves their high APRs - my Rewards MC has 22.9% APR but was still the card I used most the last couple months because I get 2% cashback rewards on gas, groceries & utilities, and I would never ever carry a balance on it, I PIF monthly. I don't care about APRs because should I need to carry a balance I have so many 0% APR options. I just got a Discover card in early July and it has 0% APR for the first year, but since it also has double cash back for the first year I'm only using it for 5% Discover Deals or 5% Home Improvement this quarter. I have a standing 1 year 0% offer on my Cap One Quicksilver, either BT or cashing one of the checks they send me. If I need to make a major purchase I'd use my Walmart or Lowe's store cards or my Best Buy MC for 0% deferred. With so many 0% options, why should I care what APR my CCs have? They'll never get it from me. EDIT: I didn't want this to come off as 'snobbish'. I'm most defintely not wealthy, I'm semi-retired, took early retirement Soc Sec at 62 while continuing to work for my local county part time. I'm just diligent at managing my personal finances. And I'm motivated montlhy when I get my savings account statement - when I'm getting 1/10th of 1% interest on my savings, the CC coompanies are most definately not getting 20+% interest from me, or not even Cap One, which at 12.9% APR is my lowest interest CC.

  • What to know before rebuilding your credit with secured credit cards

The higher your original CL, the higher they can be raised to new higher CLs. I remember using Open Sky secured card and the $200 CL never went up in a 6 months. I got a CreditOne card with a $300 CL and was increased to $500 within 3 months. Not surprisingly, when I applied for Capital One nonsecured cards, I started at $500 (the highest CL of my two secured cards). Your available credit is a factor in your score so the more money you can put into these cards, the better - bc your score will be higher and will give you a better foundation of starting CL in the future.
Keep in mind, there are of many fees associated with SCCs and make sure to take that into account from the get go. This can range to annual fees to monthly charges to even transactiom costs when you swipe. Read the fine print and find a reasonable card without outrageous fees. I beleive I used CreditOne bc they didn't cost as much as others.
When starting out, an upfront fee may kill your utilization the first month. For instance, if you have a $49 CL and upfront annual fee is $27, you're already at 54% utilization. And if you pay that immediately, it won't matter bc your remaining available credit will still be $22 and your first month reported to the bureaus will show high utilization (or in any lenders eye's - high risk). So find out what upfront fees will hit the first month and depsit enough money to stay under 30% UTIL. Build a healthy habit of not crossing 30% utilization and pay your cards off 10 days before they're due the first time around bc some companies take up to a week post your payment and you never want to be late. This way you know how to time your payments.
The amount of credit accounts also is a factor in your score so if you can afford to, get two or more. The best way to do this is apply for one, make your first payment that will typically include your upfront annual fee. Wait for that payment to clear, then apply for another card. Lenders see payments will often grant you cards with signs you pay your balances. This healthy process of applying for CCs can be used with the regular CCs you will be eligible for, usually in 6 months time.
Keep in mind that your reporting date is usually 3 days after your statement date and timing is key. Let's say you have a $300 card. You've used $75 to stay under 30% and you know your due date is the 20th of the month. You make a payment on the 16th for $75 and it posts on the 19th returning your balance to $0. The next day, your due date, the day closes in good standing. Within a 3-10 days the balance will reflect your credit report. Try to use 1-9% (or 29% max) of your CL in this window bc having 1-9% UTIL reporting is better $0 reporting and you don't have to carry a balance and pay interest. These rebuilder cards prey on those who cannot manage their cards. But that's not you bc you know the game and are here to beat the system.
You want move to $0 annual fee CCs asap so feel free to apply for unsecured CCs within 6 months. Capital One is known grant cards and forgive for past mistakes so apply there after 6 months if you're not aware of bettet options.
It also ould be a good idea to take $500 and deposit as a CD with your bank and use that as collateral for a secured credit card. Its the same concept as a secured card but you get interest back with your original deposit.
    Hope this helps someone.
    Much love,.
    Romulus

Personally, I would keep your utilization down to 10% or less for a few months and lie low, just showing responsible card usage. Keep checking the Capital One prequalification page after that, and once you become prequalified for the unsecured Platinum, take the chance, as the prequals are usually pretty solid.
When you get your unsecured Platinum, use it a whole lot and either pay in full every month, or, like with your secured, keep it at 10%-below. Meanwhile, definitely pay your secured in full every month. At about 5 months, if you displayed heavy (but responsible) usage, they should give you a pretty good CLI--I often see people go from $300 to $1500.
By then you should probably have your charge-off paid for, so, while it won't remove it off of your report, it will help. You'll also have a decent unsecured card, and by then I would feel comfortable applying for another card and maybe closing your secured card after that, since it unfortunately won't graduate.
BoA has a secured card that will graduate, but their prequalification page is utter garbage, so you'll be taking a huge chance by applying, and there will be a chance at denial even with recon. However, if you do get it, it will be great to have an evolving credit card in your hand, as you won't have to close the line (as I'm sure you'll eventually need to do with the Capital One).
I dunno, I'm a pretty conservative person when it comes to this credit game, so my offered plan might be a bit lukewarm, but I think it might be pretty solid for you. Good luck, you can do this!

  • Condition from PO into CCS in ML

    Hi experts,
Currently, we have the following scenario. We have a material X, which consists of the following costs:
    - the main cost of the material: 20 EUR
    - the import duty of the material: 2 EUR
Well, I have managed to create a standard cost estimate, using the condition type from PO, and assign that import duty into its own cost component structure. So, in the CCS, i have:
    - Direct material: 20
    - Import Duty: 2
However, in the ML view, whether it is CKMCCD or CKM3N, this import duty cost component is empty. Moreover, the client needs to be able to analyze the variance from the import duty.
Have anyone ever deal with such cases?
Would you guys mind telling me what is the best approach to my case?
Thank you very much in advance
    Best Regards,
    Erwin Hartono

    Hi Erwin ,
    Hope your situation is :
Standard Cost in SAP                    Actual Cost
    "A" Product           $20                           $20
    Import Duty           $2                           $3
    Total           $22                           $23
Journal Entry : at Goods Receipt
                   DR     CR
    Inventory               22
    GR/IR Inv i                    -20
    Accr Frt-Inb Duties               -3
    Purchase Price Var          1
    Invoice Receipt
    GR/IR Inv                -20
    AP A/c          20
    Purchase Price Var     N/A     N/A
    Actual Import Duty Charge
    Accr Frt-Inb Duties          3
    A/P Frt Company                    -3
Hence , using purchase price conditions.. ML will not be reflecting the actual Costs of Import Duty . Purchase conditions are just as estimates and actuals are absorbed in Price Variances  for differences and it will be absorbed to the product directly after CKMLCP run..
As you see that inventory is debited with 22 ( not 20+2)... system is not segregating the import duty seperately..
    Hope it clarifies..
    Regards

  • CCS and IC WebClient interaction? doesn't work

    Hi All,
I can login into IC WebClient and CCS successfully, but when i check the Agent status in CCS, it give me msg 'Currently no agents are logged on to CCS '. So i can't simulate telephony. Does anybody know what's the reason and which additional settings i need make.
below is one step in the configuration guide:
    3. In the IC WebClient, log with your CRM system user and ensure that the telephony channel is selected (icon Phone – Channel selector), so that the agent can receive inbound phone calls. Select work mode Ready using the radio button.
I can select the channel in the IC page, but i don't see the work mode radio buttons.
    Best regards.

Solved. It is the client JRE runtime version issue, downgrade the JRE from 1.5.0_5 to 1.4.2_11, then the agent mode radio buttons appear.

  • Should I close my 2 oldest CCs?

    Here's my rebuild since my 1/31/2011 BK7 discharge: (Card/Date Opened/CLBest Buy Rewards MC 10/14/2011 2,000
    Merrick Bank Visa 12/1/2011 3,100
Barclays Rewards MC 4/10/2012 3,000 (Was $5700 CL, moved $2700 to NFL)
Cap One Rewards Visa 10/1/2014 10,000
Barclays NFL 3/27/2015 7,700 (Just under 60% util w/0% BT)
    BoA Secured 5/13/2015 300
    Discover It 7/7/2015 4,000
    subtotal 30100 Store Cards:Walmart/Synchrony 2/1/2013 5000
Lowes/synch 1/30/2015 5000 Total Available Credit: $40,100 Total Utilization: 15%, QS & Rewards MC report PIF monthly usage, NFL & Lowes report 0% APR balances, all others report $0 bal I'm probably going to close the 2 oldest CCs by the end of the year. The BB MC was opened with HSBC with a $59 annual fee, it posts in early Nov. I earn more than that in Reward Zone certificates, but now that I have better reward cards why have most of the rewards I earn on that card offset an AF? I plan to call them in Oct and tell them I'm no longer willing to pay any AF. Being Citi I expect them to refuse to waive the AF and if they do I'll tell them "Then close the account immediately". Merrick Bank was an great rebuild card but I've outgrown it with reward cards w/much better CLs. I haven't used it since I got Cap1 QS Oct, but I've been keeping it active by letting 2 small monthly bills totaling less than $20 charge to it. I don't expect Merrick to be happy with that for much longer and will take AA by lowering the CL, which would prompt me to close it - that's what happened to my Target Redcard. That Bank of America secured card that looks so out of place opened just this last May? I had 1 CC from them included in my BK7 and want to eventually get a Fidelity Amex, so I wanted to get back in with them. Plan to app to convert to unsecured early next year, and then app for Fidelity Amex in 2017 when all 9 derogatory IIB accounts fall off CR. I've budgeted an agressive payment schedule on the NFL card to get the balance down below 30% util by Dec. even though the 0% BT (used to payoff a Prosper loan) doesn't expire untill Fall 2016, that high.util dings my CS. At that point I'll app for Sallie Mae and think the SL will offset the loss of $5100 in CLs from closing BB MC & Merrick. I'm not worried about the hit to my AAoA, the advice here is that closing cards does not affect your AAoA, and AAoA only has medium impact anyway. Thoughts?

    NRB525 wrote:
AAoA, likely is not affected too much by closing the accounts, however...You have some balances still, so if the Merrick doesn't have an AF, there's no reason to close that. You've got a basic charge flow going through there. They might close or CLD it, but why speed up the uncertainty? Let it ride. It may take them 3 years to get around to doing anything. Or never. Thanks for the advice. No, I won't take any action on Merrick, only react if they do a CLD or close. Yeah, I learned the hard way with Target Redcard dont' sockdrawer, I didn't use if for almost a year and they lowered the CL from $1k to $200 and I never could get them to raise it back even with small monthly usage. So as long as Merrick is happy with $20/mo usage I'm good with that. My Merrick card never had any fees while many of the newly issued cards have an AF, so I just suspect they're not going to be happy with no fees and no 25+% APR balances from me for very long._____________________________________________________________________________Good luck with the Best Buy change, to no AF. I don't have any experience with that, but it's something you might want to start the conversation earlier, try to PC to no AF. Keeping that account open, if you are earning rewards, keeps that oldest card active and earning. Worth the effort, if you ask me. Well, there is no 'PC', other MyFico members tell me they didn't even know an AF BB card existed. I actually did call last Oct and asked to have the AF waived The rep outright lied to me, telling me "Oh, the Mastercard always has an annual fee". I think that since HSBC issued it with an AF Citi just wants to hang on to it. It does give me 2% rewards for groceries, but the rewards can only be used as certificates to lower the price of a Best Buy purchase, and I just don't shop BB as much as I used to, I'd rather get 2% cashback rewards with Barclays Rewards MC. With no AF I'd keep it, but it's no longer worth $59/yr in fees to me to have it. _______________________________________________________________________________The 0% APR may be "hurting your score" but you are saving money. If it is in your cash flow to get it paid down, fine, but with several new accounts it is unlikely you should be looking at new cards, thus scores not matter. You do want to pay it off prior to the 0% expiration however Well, it is an agessive payment schedule to pay NFL down to 30% util by the end of the year, but then I plan to "coast" with slightly more than the min payment until the 0% nears expiration and budget to PIF before expiration. The first part of the year I'm always scrimping to sock away as much as I can into my IRA as prior year contributions by April 15.

/I guess my confusion is how can I put a trigger on the t_processlog table to start a job when another finishes, and still have the job called make an entry into the t_processlog? I looked at the code for suggested work around, but I'm a little confused as to what is going on. Can anyone give me an idea for what to do in the situation? Thanks.

I didn't see your coding but i think you are selecting the same table through the procedure, on which you have written the db trigger.
In that case it will alway gives you mutating error.

  • In repository what is the use of communication channel templates

    Hi People
what is the use of communication channel templates in integration repository? and  when we are using that please tell me the ASAP
    Thanks & Regards
    shekar

    HI,
The communication channel template is for the documentation purpose that will give the information about the sender and receiver communication channels in IR. So No need to goto ID and check the related CCs each time for every scenario.
You can preconfigure a communication channel with a communication channel template. You can use the communication channel template as a template to define a communication channel at configuration time.
If you want to create multiple communication channels with some identical configuration data, you should use a communication channel template.
    Thanks

Which version are you setting up and what are the requirements? IF you are discussing the use of NIC bonding for high availability beginning in 11.2.0.2 there is a concept of "High Availability IP" of HAIP as discussed in the pre-installation chapters,
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/install.112/e22489/prelinux.htm, section 2.7.1 Network Hardware Requirements.
In essence, using HAIP eliminates the need to use NIC bonding to provide for redundancy.

  • CCS / IC WebClient Connection -  shows ringing in CSS but not in IC

    Hi everyone,
we are trying to setup the SAP CCS (Contact Center Simulator) and followed the best practice guide as well as the available blog. All configuration is complete, and now we are trying to simulate an incoming phone call, but the IC WebClient does not pick it up, nothing happens.
    Here is what we do:
    - we are able to see the online agents
    - there work mode is ready
    - we can place the call to the agent (phone call is active; advanced section shows status as ringing)
    - we use the + sign in front of the number
    - switching back to the IC WebClient, nothing happens there; the agent does not get informed that there is a call to accept
It seems that the IC WebClient does not know that there is a CCS.
How can we overcome this problem? We are using CRM 2007.
    Thanks in advance.
    Erik

    Hi Glenn,
I did not configure the profiles in CRMC_IC_MAIN. Also, I do not find this task in the IMG. I assume you are refering to CRM 5.0. We are using CRM 2007, here I configured our Business Role in CRMC_UI_PROFILE with the function profile entry CONTACTCENTER = the created profile value in CRMC_IC_MCM_CCPRO.
I maintained the non img entries
    CRMM_BCB_ADM
    CRMM_IC_MCM_CCADM
    AMCPRD --> does not exist
Please clarify if CRMC_IC_MAIN is required in CRM 2007?
    Thanks,
    Erik

  • Add CCS - R/3 objects in tx CRMD_EMAIL

    Hi All,
I need to use CCS or R/3 objects in my letters made on tx CRMD_EMAIL in CRM 5.0. But I only know how to use CRM objects using scenarios in this tx. What I need to know is if there is any way to bring CCS or R/3 object fields to use in CRMD_EMAIL.
    Hope anyone can help me!
    Thanks,
    Marcella

    Hi Rajasekhar
Yeah it is very much required to download the customising objects as the customising data is required for creating say:business partner in CRM.
The customising data is usually the same for R/3 and IS-U scenario other than the data exchange specific settings

  • Upgrading from 7.5 to version 8: CEM and CCS problem with the EDMT

    Hi All;
The current UCCE is 7.5 and some scripts and configuration for the CCS and CEM were already done, when I tried to upgrade for version 8 and I used the EDMT version 8 to upgrade the side_A database (logger Database), then an error message appeared which states that CCS and CEM is existed and it should be removed.
After checking, I discover that UCCE version 8 is no more supporting CCS or CEM scripts and configuration.
But, how I can resolve this problem as removing all the related configurations and all the related objects in the scripts and the scripts will be very hard and very complex ... what is the solution to overcome this problem?
I think there should be a proper method or solution from CISCO to resolve this problem.
Looking forward to hear from someone that can help me.

  • ISU-CCS

A local utility company wishes to engage us for their preliminary sizing for ISU-CCS.  My understanding is that this requires the sizing of the ERP (user based) as well as IS Utilities given in the same panel below.  This is our first time with utiltities and would appreciate any inputs you can give us on the throughput based section listed under Utilties of the quick sizer.

Thanks KP for sending him the Ramp up document link.
Lets categorize the solution into some of the verticals for which you are responsible:
    1. Hardware
    2. Landscape
    3. Volume of the data
    4. Size of the company (Customer + employees)
    5. Is there some legacy system being used ??(If yes then at least the knowledge of following Business Process:
    >> Meter installation
    >> Meter reading
    >> BIll creation
    >> Request processin
Well now coming to the answers of these question based out of the vertical:
    1. Hardware : it's directly related to answer of the question 4 and 3
e.g : if company is serving let say 1M customer with more then 5K employees then Not only Front office process + Interaction center but also customer portal to integrate all the requirements is necassary (It also depend upon the way it's being done currently and in what ways company like to go about it !!)
    2.Landscape
As said initially in this thread IS-U sits on the top of the R/3, as many of the master data is replicated under the standard R/3 componenet e.g:
Connection Object & Device location = Functional location (PP)
    Device category = material (MM)
    FI-CA(AR/AP)
So the knowledge of the exact landscap is required:
So let see the type of combination which might be possible:
    >> CRM (For industries)<----ERP 2005 (IS-U switch on)
(In this landscape the front end system would be crm and erp would enable all the company specific processes to map on the ERP)
I would suggest this landscape when the company is very well off and large in number of customers.
    >> IS-U 4.72 on top of R/3
As per my understanding this is the next level of configuration
(Whn company is already running on R/3, but not so flexi to integrate with other legacy components)
    3. Volume of DATA:
    >>In sync with the size of the company
    >>Would some legacy system based processes be used ??
    >> Lot of replication of data is required.
Shaishav : I think when you are aware about the ECC 6.0 then better would be if you go throught the link send by the KP and give some time to yourself to get familier with the Business process of this industry.
"IF i've been given 6 hrs to cut down a tree, i'll spend 4 hrs to sharp my Axe - Newton"
Try to get the case study of the implementation of some of the implementation in the Electricity industry and that too where the market is regulated.
I mostly have worked for Europe based industry so i'm not a good person to be contacted for this
    Hope information would be benificial.
