Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) is a set of standards for structuring information to be electronically exchanged between and within businesses, organizations, government entities and other groups. The standards describe structures that emulate documents, for example purchase orders to automate purchasing. The term EDI is also used to refer to the implementation and operation of systems and processes for creating, transmitting, and receiving EDI documents.
Despite being relatively unheralded, in this era of technologies such as XML services, the Internet and the World Wide Web, EDI is still the data format used by the vast majority of electronic commerce transactions in the world.
EDI testing is to test the EDI transmissions and validate the accuracy and consistency of data mapping between the sender, translator/middleware (if any) and receiver systems.

Dynamic actions are nothing but calling one more Infotype when trying to Create/Change or Delete a perosnnel number.
Lets take an example company want that whenever an employee Communication data Fax/mobile no entered then immediately they want to make their email IDs depending upon VORNA NACHN of the personnel numbers data.Then at this point they will configure dynamic actions.But as a technical consultanat u will be given a Program name and the subroutine name in which u need to write the coding.
Dynamic actions are a great tool to make infoytpe maintenance easier. When you create an infotype you can create another one automatically for example. Dynamic actions work for both master data and applicant data infotypes. It is basically a view on table T588Z you can reach via IMG - Personnel management - Personnel administration - Customize procedures - Dynamic actions.
The table view looks like this:
Infotype - Subtype - Field - Function code - Number - Step - Variable function part
The infotype, subtype and field determine what should be created, filled, modified and so on.
The function code determines when something should happen. It can have the following values:
    * 02 - Change record
    * 04 - Create record
    * 08 - Delete record
These values can be added so e.g. 06 means change record + create record. Remember - this only tells us when something should be done.
The number simply tells us which step is first and which next. I recommend to go by 10's (10, 20, 30,40...), this makes it easier if you later on want to fill something in.
The step determines what should be done. It can have 6 values:
    * P - check conditions under which something is done
    * I - maintain infotype record
    * W - set default values for new record
    * V - Reference to another step
    * F - call a routine
    * M - send mail

How do I take one picture and combine it with another to make one?

I'm new at this but I want to take one picture and then another picture and combine them making it look like it all taken at the same time. Any help?

In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer

I was looking at the MSDN article

ICompareable interface requires that CompareTo method and takes one argument
IComparer interface requires that Compare method be implemented and takes two arguments
My question is : I can understand comparing two arguments, because we are comparing two objects / strings / int whatever the case be. But I don't understand IComparable Compare method which takes one argument, what is being compared with what? Below is the
code from the article.

The this instance of the class is compared with the object obj based on the make. I guess I don't understand where are the two entries picked up from and in what order. Because this means the current instantiated class holding the current entry, then

When there is a comparison job, it can be performed in two ways. You ask the object itself (i.e. the comparable) for the result. It then compares itself with the compared object and gives the result. Another way is to employ a judge. You give him the two
objects being compared together and ask him for the result.
When implementing IComparable<T> in a class, you want the class itself give you the result. The advantage of this approach is that, you don't need another object to compare the result as a judge. Comparison is done implicitly. However, the limitation
of this approach is that, you can implement the interface only once in a class.
The second approach has more flexibility, because you can change the judge and employ any judge as you want to give you the proper result. However, you need to create an instance of the IComparer<T> and use it explicitly to perform the comparison.

In the OP's defense, he/she never mentioned that the music or videos were copyrighted.
There are a couple apps you may be interested in:
1)SharePod -- http://www.sturm.net.nz/website.php?Section=iPod+Programs&Page=SharePod
This'll copy music to/from an iPod/PC. Not sure about videos, though.
2) YamiPod -- http://www.yamipod.com/main/modules/home/
Same basic idea as SharePod, from what I gather. I'm not sure about videos for this one, either.
Using these apps, you could copy music from your friend's iPod to a PC, and from that PC to your iPod. Remember though that this is illegal if the music is copyrighted and you haven't paid for it.
No, Windows Media Player is not the same as iTunes, and I doubt that you can copy videos from Media Player to your iPod. iPod videos need to be encoded in a certain way in order to work properly. That means that your collection of .mpg's, .avi's, and .wmv's probably won't work on your iPod. You might want to Google for iPod Video converters.

What is the Ideal Production Setup For One Admin and 4 Managed Servers

Dear Experts
I will be starting with production setup including one Admin server and 4 managed servers in one single domain.
I am thinking of creating a single node environment(no clusters) as the machine has following configuration
OS : Windows Server 2008 R2 Datacenter
RAM : 48 GB
System Type : 64 bit
Processor : Intel(Xenon) 4 processors [email protected]
Can you please let me know if this configuration would suffice for the 4 managed servers if i assign Xmx and Xms as 4096 and Heap Space as 1024 to all the Managed Servers.
It is very urgent and i need to convey to the Infrastructure team if harware procurement is required.
We are looking at somewhere around 300 concurrent users(maximum load) and 100(minimum load) at a given point of time.
Please reply ASAP.

Heap size must be calculated according to the applications that are been deployed on each JVM.
With no deployments, you dont need more than 256k for managed servers heap size and 512k for adminserver. As biggest its your heap size, longer will take your garbage collection. And if you can prevent it, better do it.

Easy Photoshop task:
Open both check image and desired target image in Photoshop
Switch to check image, trim out background stuff (possibly making sure the check is on its own layer, to ease background removal)
Select all (control-A), copy (Control-C)
Switch to target image
Paste (Control-V) - This will paste the check image into a new layer of the document
Re-size / transform (Control-T) - This is where you'll be able to tell if the check image was high enough resolution, and if you need another image
Since the target document will have the check on a new layer, it gives you plenty of freedom for other corrections, adjustments, etc.
There's a few other shortcuts to achieve the same effect, but this 'feels' the most straightforward.

What happens when the Main Flash is 25 fps and an external SWF file is 12 fps?

Hello everyone,
I have a Main Flash which is set to 25 fps. This Flash is
used to load an external swf file which was created using 12 fps. I
would like to know what really happens when the Main Flash loads
the external swf file? Does the Main file forces the external file
to be run on 25 fps or the swf file is run with its own 12 fps?
Any ways, if someone can take the time and explain this, I
would be greatful.

the external swf plays at 25fps - all loaded movies will take
on the frame rate of the parent movie.

I cannot for the life of me figure this out.

What you need to do is connect your phone to iTunes but do not click sync. Go to File at the top and click transfer purchases from phone, that'll put all your apps into iTunes. When it's done transferring, locate your phone on the sidebar and click it. Then find the apps option above the picture of your iphone, you can select which apps you want or don't want on your phone. After selecting your apps then you can sync. Once you do this you should never have your problem anymore.

I see that there are a couple of options under setters to reset the phone, so what one do I choose to use? Should that make the phone safe to sell, so that the new owner will not have any connections to my Apple ID? Also, what do I do with the SIM card? I know the iPhone 5 uses a new SIM, but on the 4S, do I take it out and keep it, or leave it in the phone when I sell it?
