What is ISU and  CRM?

Can u give me information about ISU and CRM

Hi,
you may try this link first:
SAP CRM
Its a module which focus more on the customer focus and relationships maintained between the customer and the client. It focus more on various channels like Portal,Internet Sales,Telesales,Mobile Sales etc..
.CRM provides us with a 360 degree view of the customer.
2.In R/3 System we have the departmentalised approach and so for example if we need to get an information like "I have a 15 year old customer who likes Red Ferrari" its possible only in CRM and not in ERP.To be more clear,
Check out this link:

Read following,
3.ERP tries to build basis informational kernel for support of almost all operational and financial corporate process.CRM focuses on ways customers can be directly contacted .CRM can procatively identify and obtain better knowledge of requirement and needs of and successfully respond to the customers preference.
4.CRM is a business strategy supported by numersous system rather than system itself like ERP.New departments like marketing and custgomer interation centers came into play.

  • Sap ISU and CRM

We are implementing SAP ISU with Billing and Invoicing, next step would be the implementation of CRM for Utilities.  In a part we are using the installation guide of Best Practices for Water Utilities, which presuppose the implementation of CRM. My question is the following: is it possible to do the implementation of billing and invoicing in ERP and afterwards move the billing and invoicing to CRM, without any big efforts?
    Thanks in advance
    Maja

    Maja,
The IS-U billing engine sits in the SAP for Utilities system. Today, there is not such a thing in the CRM system you can use to do the same. Same it is for invoicing, bill print etc. not to speak of FI-CA. You can't even replicate these objects to CRM.
The Water Template is not referring to such a thing. It is only levelling he way to a replication the standard objects, such as, business partner, from the ERP system to the CRM system.
I hope this answers your question.
    Kind regards,
    Fritz

  • I have configured ISU and CRM

I have configured both CRM and IS-U
in the my CRM have assigned the roles of marketing, sales, service
so i get all the menus related to these sub modules on the web.
I want use CCS on the for creating business agreements and contracts on the web.
what is role i need to assign to my user id to get this?
do I need to any additional configuration to achieve the same?

    Hi,
Please use the business role "SALESPRO" in SAP CRM 2007, in order to create BP account and corresponding business agreements.
During the save of the business agreement, the SAP CRM Middleware will start the adapter object  BUPA_MAIN and will send a Bdoc to the OLTP system, creating the Contract Account.
    I hope it helps!

  • Contract replication from ISU to CRM

    Hi Experts
I have sucessfully replicated BP master data between ISU and CRM, Contract Account replication is done as well, i would like to replicate Contract from ISU to CRM. Any help will be highly appreciated.

    Hello,
Please see note  632749 for help with this issue.
Please also check the foloowing points:
    1.  Are there any contract account entries existing in the table 'TFK_BUAG_REF' (IS-U System).
    2.  Check the contract account entries in your IS-U system with the transaction 'CAA3'. Are they existing ?
    3.  The buag class entry in table 'TFK_BUAG_REF' (IS-U System) is corresponding to the buag class entry in your business agreement (CRM system).
    I hope this is helpful.

  • Replication of Custom Fields from CRM to ISU and Vice versa

    Hi Experts,
We are working on adding Z fields on BP level. For this how does the replication of the values takes place from CRM to ISU or vice versa. What are the middleware enhancement we need to do in CRM side or in the ISU side. We would add the fields on web UI crm side by AET but at ISU side how we need to do that and how would the field values replicate in both the system.
A approach for adding BP custom fields in CRM and its interaction with ISU and vice versa would be appriciated.
    Thanks,
    Mayur

Excuse, you may enter more in detail?
I have created a custom field on BP using the AET would now like to replicate this custom field in BP also in ISU.
I can do all this using the EEWB, but I would avoid it, since, in ISU we already have custom fields on BP, I just can not link them with CRM.

  • Im new to CRM, can any body say about the BPEM. What is it and how work on?

  • What's the difference between CRM 5.0 and CRM 2007?

    Hello Experts:
    I will join a CRM upgrade project(from 5.0 to 2007). Now I am using CRM5.0.
    I have a question:
What are the main differences between CRM 5.0 and CRM 2007? Should my ABAP/Dynpro programs be changed to fit 2007?
    Thanks.

  • Replication of BP Relationships --- ISU to CRM

    Hi All -
We have an ISU ECC 6.0  Ehp 4and CRM 7.0 sp3 system.
I am trying to set up the replication of Business Partner Relationships.
I am using the cookbook avbl in Service Marketplace.
I have a couple of questions.
    1. The cookbook says something about Business Partner Contact Persons (in table KNVK) as not being a part of the replication. When I create a contact person for my ISU Business Partner the relationship (Contact Person BUR001) gets created in the BUT050 table. So, what exactly is the document trying to say about Business Partner Contact Persons (in table KNVK) ?
So, anyways I did all the configuration.
    a. Checked the internal number ranges that the relationships will use and made sure everything is good.
    b. I added the entries to the COM_BUPA_CALL_FU table in ISU. Deleted the other entries in the table as mentioned.
    c. Added the entries in the CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU CRM tables as mentioned.
    d. I ran into some transport issues here and hence had to delete entries from CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU CRM tables for BP Relation type and reenter them from an excel back up.
When I try replicating a Contact Personfrom ISU to CRM I can see the relationship data in CRM middlewarein the SMW01 queue with the status being processed. But there is no relationship in CRM. I can't see it. Here are the entires I have in the CRMC_BUT_CALL_FU CRM. Am I missing any entry I should need to make the relationship get created in CRM from ISU?

  • Initial Load of contract from ISU to CRM

    Hi All,
We are working on the replication of contract from ISU to CRM.
We have done all the necessary setting, like assigning default product, running ecrm_generate_everh report etc
When we are running initial load on SI_CONTRACT,only single BDOC is getting generated which is error free but still it contains no data.
Since its without an error ,we are not able to figure out whats the error is.
    Regards
    Nikhil

    Hello Nikhill,
Could you resolve the problem?? I've a similar error, the BDoc is empty. The table everh is filed but the fields contractpos and contarcthead have value '0000000000000000' i think that is the problem. ANd the recport ECRM_CHECK_EVERH say that are misiing contracts.
    Could you help me please!!!
    Thnks!!

    Davide,
Gui would continue to be there for back end stuff. Tables (SE11) you would still continue to display, maintain. Creation of function module (SE37), report programs (SE38), lots of basis adminstration stuff, batch job scheduling and such stuff would still be done though SAP GUI.
Though SAP is trying to move many things to UI - such instead of EEWB, most of the functionality can be achieved through new AET.
CRM_MKTPL --- not suported, it will give you error message 'SAP GUI transaction CRM_MKTPL is no longer supported; use CRM WebClient UI'
CRMD_PROF_CHAR - you can still open this in CRM 7.0
CRMD_ORDER - you can still open this in CRM 7.0
Mostly marketing related developments (including TPM) will be taken care of by Web UI as this is newly developed area with lots of enhancements coming up - and GUI use would be reduced day by day even for configurations going forward.
Important is - for almost everything that is done in older versions - there is something in CRM 7.0 that you can use to do that in a better way, so not to worry.
    Best Luck!
    Thanks,
    Rohit

  • Hardware Spec for SAP ISU 6 + CRM IDES 7

    Hi,
What would be a recommended hardware spec required to run SAP ISU 6 + CRM IDES 7 with atmost 4-5 concurrent users?
I plan to implement it using CentOS & SAP MAXDB.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sumith

    Hi,
As the concurrent users seem to be less, you only need to ensure disk space (for an ERP and CRM IDES you would need atleast 600-700GB) along with appropriate page file size of approx 120-140GB.
    As for CPU/RAM: a 2 CPU/8Cores (Intel/AMD 2.08GHz) with 32GB RAM should do well enough.
However, if you plan to do the setup for productive environment please use the SAP Quick Sizer tool.

  • External access to Portal and CRM B2B

    Hi,
We have the sap portal and also CRM Java ..we have deployed the CRM Business package on the portal and used the portal IView to call the CRM java application. What is the best way to expose both the portal and CRM java to the external users?
I know we can achieve this using sap webdisatcher, but there are certain limitation in sap webdispatcher when dealing with two separte host name..so please let me know how expose both portal and crm to the external users.
    Thanks

First of all you need to have your network infrastructure in terms of Security Zones, SAP has a standard recommendation that I have always use when possible for growing your landscape and exposing your Solutions to either internal or external users:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/9d/44d7bc73ddce4f96f09de874350e78/content.htm
Depending on your security needs you can have 2 portals 1 external facing portal and one internal facing portal, or just 1 portal installed in the Inner DMZ , there is no formula is what your Architects prefer and there are  pros and cons in any scenario.
Now answering your question you do not need to expose both instances (CRM and Portal)  you only need to expose SAP Portal  because the  purpose of Portal is to provide a single point of access to your u201Cbackendu201D solutions in your case.   So Sap Web Dispatcher will be good choice or you can use a Hardware Load Balancing, if this is for external users then you need HA.
    Hope this helps.

  • Relationship Between ECC Customers (Contact Persons) and CRM BP

    Hello,
I am new to middleware and need some help with the relationship between ECC customers/contact persons and CRM business partners.
We are transferring via bdoc this information from ECC to CRM.
Which bdoc types are used when transferring customers/contact persons? I believe it is BUPA_MAIN but am not too sure. How is the relationship between customer its contact person transferred? Is this done through BUPA_REL? I looked at the segment fields in SBDM but am not too sure how to understand the relationship...
    Thanks for the help!
    Regards,
    Tiffanie

Thanks! With the initial load, how do I check what fields are being passed in the bdocs?
I tried to look for customer_main, customer_rel in SBDM  and couldn't find it. Instead I used BUPA_MAIN and found some segments but couldn't find all the data that was being transferred (e.g. customer name, address, etc...) Where do I find all the fields contained in the bdoc?
I see them in SMW01 when I view the bdoc contents but can not find the actual structure (data fields) that are being brought in from ECC.
    Thanks!
    Tiffanie

  • Communication between ECC and CRM

    Hello,
I am in phase of showing communication between SAP CRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0.
I am struggling with finding some simple transactions which are common in both, with which I can show correct connectivity between ECC and CRM.
I need to save some data from CRM and access the same via transaction within ECC, save some data via ECC and access it via CRM. I already established RFC link between ECC and CRM.
Probably communication between SD module of ECC with CRM.
Can you please help me out with this, a clue/correct direction will be of very helpful. Basically I want to know, what transaction I can use for same.
    Any help is really appreciated.
    Thanks
    -Vishal

    Hi Glenn,
I followed all steps in document mentioned above. In the end during execution of transaction I selected appropriate source and destination, when I click start transfer objects, it gets stuck in waiting phase.
Among those steps I was not able to perform step#10. Creating Subscriptions for OLTP. My ERP is not displaying this option under subscription wizard. Should it be reason for not starting transfer ? I also do not see ERP logon screen when I select transfer.
My another question is when transfer will complete, where I'll be able to see transferred objects within ERP database ?
    Thanks
    -Vishal

One thing that is mentioned, but not really emphasized, is that the zooming when opening and closing Apps is now gone when the reduce motion setting is enabled. I guess too many people where claiming sea sickness and Apple wanted to avoid lawsuits.
Now the nay sayers will have to refocus their efforts and complain about the font and the icons.
