What is it with flash player all the time!!!

I swear every single time I do an upgrades, which you're prompted to do until you actually do it so you have to but every time I do an update. something goes wrong. This is like the fifth update for me and the fifth time something went wrong! My sound works on my computer because I tested my speakers. played a CD, etc. However, videos in youtube and facebook will not work! If I didnt pay for it, I would do away with adobe all together however, I do like the full version of Adobe Reader (so far at least). But this is just ridiculous...anyone having the same issue or a fix? The videos play just not the sound. grrrr

Wow, if you're going to be like that I can wait for someone else...I have reason to vent, if you dont like it then dont reply - no better yet, dont read it. This is a help forum - it will be people frustrated with things especially those who have the issue each time and spend good money on the software...sorry maybe you're rich or just THINK you're calm, cool, and collected every moment - I'll tell you what you just bypass my post and go on with your happy little self...

Before I bought it I did the same question at the Apple Store, and they told me "You can extend your existing Wi-Fi Signal with Airport Express wireless...
You cannot extend wireless from any brand except another apple router.. the store might have assumed you were using an apple main router. Most people who buy express buy them to extend an extreme or time capsule.
You are correct .. in the setup documents it does say 5.6.1 is adequate to do the setup.. my bad.. !!

TextEdit Replaces sh with ti almost all the time.

When typing in TextEdit, I noticed that when the characters "sh" are typed in with a space after, most of the time the text will automatically be replaced with "ti" immediately after hitting space. I can spell out show, shim and other words, however, it did change shs to tis once.
Example:
Typed as: Enter sh
Shows as: Enter ti
This does not happen all the time. I have another guy in the office who was able to recreate the problem by typing sh sh sh continually. It happens in both RichText and PlainText settings. Auocorrection is turned off as well as spell check and text replacement. Using TextEdit v.1.6. Any ideas?

it has got to be text replacement or autocorrection. nothing else could do this. quit text edit and trash the file homedirectory/library/preferences/com.apple.textedit.plist then start textedit and see if it still does this. if yes then quit text edit and run the following command in terminal
rm ~/library/preferences/.Global*
then log out/in and try TextEdit again.

What's wrong with LR5 Slideshow and the time it takes to render a 900 image show?

I just updated my LR5 with great expectation that the "Bug" would be fixed. "NOT" ........... I used the slideshow feature to display/create 700 wedding image slideshows for my clients. In LR 5 or LR5.3 when I try to play a show, I have to wait an "UNGODLY" amount of time [Six Hours???} before it plays. Heaven forbid I make changes and then it has to render again. LR4 played wonderfully. I should go back and ask for my $$$ back for the $$$'s spent upgrading to LR5. BTW, I have a very fast machine with lots of memory so it's NOT my machine.
Can anyone tell me what is going on?
And/Or if Adobe is attempting to fix this issue?
Also If I choose to go back to LR4, will my catalogs still be read by LR4?
If I go back to LR4, can I get my money back?

Why does safari on ipad with ios7 crash all the time compared to ios6? + more ?s

After ios7 was installed on an ipad2, safari crashes often when viewing simple pages like reddit.com or facebook and google. We got an ipad air with ios7 preinstalled and the problem persists. Ios6 almost never crashed safari.
Another issue I am having with ios7 is that the input timing for the spacebar seems to be off compared to ios6. Just speculation, but it started after ios7 was installed with no issues prior on ios6. I used to be able to type incredibly fast with minimal errors on spacing between words. Now it seems to "actl iket his" some of the time. (Spacing issue for the phrase "Act like this") regarding space bar registry for how quickly I type.
Another issue, which may actually be a feature of ios7 (if something I read was correct) is that when multiple tabs are open and I switch between them, it needlessly reloads the page on pages which are not updated with new info. It is an annoyance, and if it is a feature, it is an incredibly stupid one at that.

For Safari.
Tap Settings > Safari then tap to clear cookies, data, and history.
Then reset the device.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
See if that helped both Safari and the space bar issue.
If not, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

Ever since i updated to firefox 13,i cant get any videos to play correctly. they stop or plause threw the whole videos,plus my adobe flash crashes all the time.

You can first try to update to the latest Flash 11.3.300.262 version.

Browser oppen and minimize fine but webpages do not. how do i get it to open to the size of the browser and stay that way with out zooming all the time

I can not get a webpage to stay the size of the browser with out zooming in every time i go to a web page. With out zooming it just stay small with white on both sides. How do i get it to stay the size of the browser and stay that way Have no trouble with my internet explorer doing this on my new computer. or fire fox on my old computer.

Flash crashes all the time, firefox crashes too and then will not work period, or my computer will say it is open when it is not, and I cannot open it. When I get on firefox it will not load anything! Explorer still works but not firefox!

Certainly disable FlashPlayer in your plugins by using

You need to get Firefox working again before you are going to be able to do anything with Firefox.
See if you can get Firefox to open in [[safe mode]] noting that when you get a window with a list of options just click on continue.

Sorry but at present there are many possible causes of your problem and you will need to try Firefox's SafeMode &/or some of the suggestions in those linked articles in order to narrow it down a bit.

Ntdll.dll crashes with CR 2008 all the time.

On a duel boot system (Vista SP1 / XP SP3), after installing CR2008 on the Vista system I get crash after crash when trying to work with either creating a blank report or working with one from my BOXI files. This is in development, and usually happens anytime I try to do something like change the page setting, i.e. size or margins. I had the problem also show up on a Vista SP1 laptop yesterday, but have been unable to duplicate it. The error message from the event view is as follows:

Sounds like a permission of DEP issue. Install SP2 so DEP is supported

Bootcamp 5 running hot with fan on all the time

I have a 2012 MBPr running windows 7. I was running Bootcamp 4 and driving two 2560x1440 monitors as well as the laptop display. The fan would only come on with very intensive graphics operations. I just installed Bootcamp 5. When running just the laptop display, everything is fine. However, when I connect the two monitors, the fan starts up and the area above the keyboard gets hot, even with no programs opened.
Has anyone experienced this?
I tried to install a version 4 of Bootcamp, but it will not let you roll back to an older version. Anyone know how to trick the Bootcamp installer to think an older version is installed? Is there a registry value that I can change?

Since the last security update (flash player version 11.7.700.169) I have been having trouble with flash player beating the daylights out of my processor. My OS is Windows XP. This only happens on some sites, not all. For example netflix and amazon are fine, but acorn and huffington post videos send the processor into overdrive. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I have XP on some machines, and I do not experience any such problems with 11.7.700.179. If I were, I would try two things

New Windows Install (4 Months)
When I use a progrem/game that used Flash. the windoe will close all of sudden sometimes I can play for a ewhile and some times it happens every 3 Min.
With IE 8. it reopens a new window after the origenal windo closes and reloads the screen.
I only have a few Progrems loaded in this computer it is a Cleane computer and I use windows Essentials Softwhere.
