What is it with "My country"?

Hi,
I have just had to register a third time to solve a different problem in a different thread.
Every time I need help I am asked about "My Country". What is my country? Is my country where I was born? Is my country where I live? Is my country where I am working for the next 6 months? Is my country where I am at the moment?
Why can't I just go to Toshiba and go to Support and Forum? Choose the language and off you go. So many international forums work this way. But I am forced to make a selection and get referred to pages where I don't speak the language simply because my IP address is from that region.
Finding the forum is a task in itself. Then - even though I am greeted with my name on the home page - I click on Reply or New Thread and have to log in. Not on the same page, but a new page. After I log in I am not taken back where I was, but have to start from scratch. Isn't there a better way?
Come on, we live in a globalised world. I appreciate that mixing Chinese with Arabic and English is a challenge on a forum, but it's 2008.

I have chosen the country where I live.
But its your personal choice what country you would chose. you can come from Afrika but can choose a country in Europe or Middle East. That's not a problem.
The point is that you have to choose always this region which was chosen in the registration if you want to login to the forum
So if you have registered in this forum and have chosen for example Spain, then you have to use always this country if you want to login again.
So I think you shouldnt make things more complicated than they are ;)

Well, then your question is a different one: "What do I need to make a web application with ERP data".
In NetWeaver everything is contained that you need technology wise, but no business applications (almost, there is a grey zone coming from the ABAP world).
If you want to access also business data there are two ways:
1. You can access existing R/3 environments from there via RFC and BAPI
2. You will have to wait for mySAP ERP to run it directly on NetWeaver 04

Maybe this is relevant: I bought iphoto from the German apple store but I now live in Italy. I have tried German credit card with German invoicing address and Italian shipping address. And I have tried Italian credit card with Italian invoicing address and Italian shipping address. The phenomenon is the same: shipping address appears in red and I am asked to fill in the mandatory fields (which turn red whatever I enter).

what is the setting for the Print Products Store in the Advanced Tab of the iPhoto Preferences?
The country you select there has to match the billing address. And your billing address should match the country of your AppleID and credit card used with the AppleID.

I'd like to know what is wrong with my iPhone 4

i have an iPhone 4 with the iOS 6 installed on it, and whenever i slide to unlock the screen a connect to iTunes popped up...
so i connected to iTunes it required a software update, so i updated my phone to the latest software, and after everything was done, every time i unlock the screen i select the language then the country, then a "connect to iTunes" pops up again... so i connect my iPhone to iTunes and it tells me that there is something wrong with the phone !
has anybody encountered this problem... please help and thank you

i really can't remember where i got it from, it's been with me ever since the iPhone 4 has been first released and gave it to a friend a year ago or so... it was factory unlocked, so i got to use it directly after i opened it... i never jailbroke it and i don't think my friend did..
what happened exactly with my friend was that :
she had the phone in a cover of course on her night table facing upwards, with a water cup next to it, the cup seemed to be broken from its bottom and started dripping water.. so the phone sucked in some of the water, but the cover helped protecting it a bit.. now thts when she called me and of course i told her not to touch any button just let it turn off so she could dry it later and put it in a bag of rice... now the next day she turned it on, it did turn on, but there you go, we started facing the problem ! i don't know if its because of the water, though it is totally dried !
i just went to a phone dealer today, telling me that it won't work and it can't be fixed because its on apples blacklist, I'm not sure what that means !

What is up with Apple's Network not supporting Network scanning and even Ne

Hello.
I have a HP 3210 Network printer/scanner. After upgrading from my LinkSys router to a Time Capsule I now find that my HP Network scanning capability is dead. Apple tech support has admitted that they don't support scanning nor even some network printers on the Time Capsule, airport & Airport express. Apple won't even give me enough details on the issue so I can talk intelligently with HP???
What is up with that? That is completely unacceptable. I can print to my printer, I can browse the built-in web server (and scan interestingly enough using the web server), but when you try and run the HP scanning client it indicates it can't communicate with the printer/scanner.
Any ideas out there? I'm really disappointed.

The site was compromised approximately 6 seconds later by a group of Romanian hackers believed to be funded by Nigerian Internet scammers who had millions of dollars in credit to play with when hundreds of thousands of victims sent them their credit card numbers to pay what they thought were nominal fees to get some of the 100,000 missing iPhones sold the first week but according to AT&T never activated. Supposedly, a malfunction in a mail router or address machine (the story varies) inadvertently sent all these phones to a mid-ranking Nigerian official who needed financial assistance with getting them out of the country.
Well, either that or the site is still controlled by Apple & has been undergoing extensive changes which, shall we say, have not yet been completely sorted out, much in the same way that Iraq has not ....

You need to use UPSERT ALL rather than just UPSERT.
The documentation [url http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E11882_01/server.112/e25554/sqlmodel.htm#i1011770]here explains that UPSERT can only insert with "positional reference" and not "symbolic reference", and ANY wildcard is always "symbolic reference". But UPSERT ALL allows model rules with existential predicates (comparisons, IN, ANY, and so on) in their left side to have UPSERT behavior.

What's wrong with iTunes Canada? It's becoming archaic. While the UK store is selling TV programs and now has the iPhone, the neighboring country to the United States has nothing new since iTunes U came out. No movies, no TV programs, no iPhone... And to top it all, Steve Jobs has never said a word about iTunes Canada. No official statement about these services in iTunes Canada. ARE we going to have movies? Are we going to have TV programs? When will we have a carrier for the iPhone?

CSS for Print Media - What to do with a FORM?

I'm dealing with creating an HTML page for use in a web-based
software. The user wants to be able to use a print-only stylesheet
when sending this HTML <form> page to the printer. I know I
can convert scrolling textareas and input boxes into flat,
borderless text with ease in the CSS, but what about SELECT
dropdowns and checkboxes? Is there any way to turn these form
elements into flattened text output when sending the page to the
printer?

Can you imagine what a state list or country list would do to
the format of
your printed form? The only way I can think of to get what
you might use
would be to have the print stylesheet to display:none the
<select> tags and
correspondingly display:block some 'mock' input fields for
this data.

The one that wasn't working had a 4G LTE SIM card in it. It should have usable in the replacement Razr. It was only until I read the OP a third time this morning that there might be a third device involved. It would be nice if people would give more specifics on what devices are active at what time. Then the readers of this community can follow the progression of the events better.

Just thought that I'd report that I've decided on my solution.
It seems that just making do with what I can find on the US store is the easiest and perhaps also the best way of going about it. All other methods mean trouble. I'm lucky that China hasn't outright blocked the US store, as they HAVE blocked iTunes music store in China already (something about a song about Tibet caused them to block the store entirely).
So yeah, just going to deal with it I guess. I should be grateful I'm getting anything at all, considering the country I'm in. Still, I just feel so ripped off sometimes when I pay for expensive devices and I can't even get much out of them do to my region. iPhones cost around $700 in China because there's no company like AT&T that you can just sign a contract with to get one, so you have to pay up-front for the phone, and get less features out of it in the end. Makes buying smart phones look like a waste of time and money sometimes, since you can't use the device to do what it was built to do due to censorship and not having any content for your region (though they do have a lot of Chinese apps that I can't use due to not knowing Chinese).

As RG said, you cannot determine solely from the model number whether an iPhone is unlocked or not. In what country and from what dealer did you buy this iPhone?

Thanks. The reason this has become an issue is that I recently bought a new Macbook Air that the iPad is not synced to. The one is was synced to was stolen. If I want to sync this iPad to the new Air, won't it be wiped before I'm able to copy these films or am I wrong about that?

What's wrong with my browsers?

When i first got my macbook the internet was going really slow but then i changed the dns server to 4.2.2.2 and sometimes change it to 4.2.2.1 and the internet got better but now my browsers are acting funny.
One moment i'm surfing webpages with safari or firefox.... Chatting with AdiumX or MS Messenger... and suddenly it just stops... Msn is getting time-out's, Safari says I'm not connected.
But Airport sais it is still connected to my wireless network (with all the black bar's filled). It has valid IP adress etc, But everywhere I want to go on the internet it sais I'm not connected.
When I disconnect the airport en let it reconnect with my wireless network, the connection is fine.
how can i fix this?

Most users shouldn't be manually entering DNS addresses, and those DNS addresses you mention probably aren't intended for end users. Is Level3 your ISP?
That doesn't answer 'what's wrong with my browsers?', but a good start would be to configure your network according to your ISP's instructions. If you have DNS problems then, you might try using OpenDNS.
