What is it with this white screen??

Today, for the first time, when I click on some, not all, of my new Raw images I get a white screen. As far as I know I have changed nothing. The only way I have found to recover is to remove all adjustments and start over. However when I do it repeats. Does anyone know what is going on and what I may, however inadvertently, done to cause it? Please help?

Do a search through the forum and you will find that something similar to this has been a common affliction. The relaunching of Aperture usually resolves the issue, however if it does not as you have experienced...
Potentially an error within the Aperture database.
Ensure you have backed up the library.
no guarantees but the basic maintenance steps may help.
Run your system maintenance using Disk utility on your system and data HDD's
Launch Aperture holding down the command option key, you are presented with two options, run one then the other. This will correct any permissions errors or database glitches.

Ive been given the task of creating SCCM MDT Windows 8.1 deployments to Surface 2 Pro machines.
On the first machine I updated the firmware to March 2014. From that point on it booted into the TPM screen and refused to budge. Doesnt matter what option I selected or changed on the TPM screen, it refused to continue - just kept on rebooting to
the TPM screen. Went on to the MS Surface support chat line and they got me to try a few things and eventually said "its a hardware problem". I suspect that it may have something to do with the firmware upgrade.
So I took out the second Surface Pro 2 machine and this time left the current firmware intact. I did a PXE boot to load our Windows 8.1 task sequence and during the first restart, up pops the TPM screen again!!! This time I selected exit and it continued
with the task sequence - phew!.
So what is it with this TPM screen? Is there any bios pre-configuration I can do to make sure it never pops up again?
Doing a bit of a Google search seems to suggest that there are some people having TPM screen problems.

I would start your troubleshooting with the article below for issues of not being able to log in to your Mac. Start with booting up in to Safe Boot as well as resetting PRAM on your Mac. If that does not work, then verify the hard drive with booting to the Recover HD and go to Disk Utility to verify it.

Start your iMac with the original DVD that camera with the system. Then open disk utility and repair your hard drive, also repair your permissions.

It looks like your MacBook Pro is restarting. Just hold the Power button until your computer turns off, and then turn it on again, so OS X should start properly

My IPad Air is frozen with a white screen and Apple Logo on it.

My Ipad Air is frozen with the white screen and apple logo. I've tried resetting it several times and that doesn't help. I tried connecting to ITunes, but it isn't recognizing the device.
The battery is fully charged, at least for now, so I am not sure what else to try.

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. You must follow step 1 to step 4 VERY CLOSELY.

My nokia N70 starts with a white Screen and does not go any further. It does not make any sound while starting. When i connect it to the PC it is not detected by the PC while the phone is on showing a white screen. I have tried performing a Hard reset using the *3 and the green key but it is not formatting either. I also tried updating the software but as the PC is not recognising the mobile connection the updater is not working either. I am using the latest PC suite.

Remove the battery for at least 5 minutes and then replace and see if that makes any difference. Also try removing the memory card.
If the above two don't work then try these.Always remember to backup your phone before performing resets as your data may be lost.
First try these
*#7780# - Restore factory settings - resets all the settings to the default
*#7370# - Reformat your phone
If still not working
Then try the "3 finger deep reset". With the phone powered off, depress and hold these three keys simultaneously "*" "3" "green phone" and then power on phone using the on/off button whilst keeping the three keys depressed until you hear start-up tone.
This should ONLY be done if the device doesn't power up normally anymore and it wipes everything in the Phone memory that is not part of the ROM.

As stated in the title it boots up with a white screen and it chimes but i cant use any of the commands to get into the recovery or even boot from a cd or usb drive. Not with Windows, Linux might, but it would be a difficult.
Mac's as you know have EFI, which is loaded from a hidden partition on the boot drive.
Only OS X, their install disks (and 10.7+ Recovery HD parititon) can format the drive properly for a Mac to use, as they install EFI which the hardware requires for the at boot keys to be able to select Linux and install rEFIt in EFI firmware.
If your Mac meets 10.6 qualifications, then the 10.6 install disk can be ordered, the instruction for creating a dual boot system with Linux Mint.
Of course there is a problem, if the machine is too new, then hardware drivers to work with Linux might not have been circulating to use.
Apple doesn't supply the hardware drivers for Linux or anyone, so it takes hackers to get them and they have to have Mac's. (they rather use generic PC's)
Older Mac's pre-2011 I know where the drivers are at, on Ubuntu's site (Linux Mint is based on Ubuntu) however I don't know if latest versions of Ubuntu/Mint work with those drivers, I'll asume they do.
Hardware drivers are important because the machine won't work well without them, like no Wifi, video screen options etc. one just gets the bare minimal use.
Interest in running Linux on Mac's died when Apple released OS X 10.7, as the Recovery HD partition created a obstacle and Apple seems to be heading towards a closed system like on iPads and iPhones.
Linux needs open hardware like generic PC's, and the trend from Microsoft is like Apple, closing up hardware from anything but Windows running.
If you haven't installed Linux on a generic PC, I suggest you try that first as on Mac's it's the most difficult.

If the app is no longer in the store then you won't be able to redownload it. You don't have a copy of it in your computer's iTunes library or on your backup of your downloads/library so that you can sync it back to your phone ?

Since the screen turns off see if:
- Placing the iPod in Recovery mode will allow a restore via iTuns.
- Next try DFU mode

If you still have the problem the it appears that either the drop caused other damage or upi damaged the iPod or did something incorrect whenyou replaced the screen
BTW, the white screen of death is when the screen turns white AND you can turn it off.

Press and hold down for at least 10 to 15 seconds, both the home and power/sleep buttons until the Apple logo shows up on the screen.
This will reboot the iPhone.
Its likely the iPhone crashed, and you need to reboot it. No data should be lost though.
