What is Lync doing that it won't display on a USB video adapter?

My company rolled out Lync 2013 to us and while Lync 2010 displayed just fine on my extra monitor attached by USB video, 2013 does not refresh at all. Not even the slider bar can be grabbed to move it up and down. The only action available
is to drag it to the laptop built in display where it works OK. I have this extra monitor just for low bandwidth items like instant messages and email, so what the heck is this IM client doing that is too wierd video-wise? Every other business
use program is working on the USB (which is a SIIG USB2 to VGA); I can even watch slightly choppy videos in IE 9.
Yes, the drivers for both the USB and the integrated Intel video up to date.
This seems a case of excessive bloatware if a chat client is doing such complex video tricks that it can't display properly. Lync 2010's "share screen" even worked on the USB, so whatever they've done to 2013 is too special.

All Monitors option allows you to present everything on your screen. If you have multiple monitors, viewers will see them side-by-side.
Make sure you choose the extra monitor.

16bit? Pixels extending beyond the canvas? (from a crop with delete unused pixels turn off). Have you previously been saving PSD files?
IME you sometimes have to tell Photoshop that the first save of a session is JPG, and it remembers from there on. The way to 'tell' Photoshop that JPG, or PDF, or PNG etc are now your preferred format is to Ctrl (Cmd) click on that format in the Save As drop down list. So long as the file does not have parameters that your chosen format does not support, then this should work for you.
[EDIT] Just noticed that you did include 'Crop' in the subject line. Do you have 'Delete cropped pixels' checked?

It's a licensing error and I'm sure the accompanying text in the warning dialog spells it out pretty clearly, despit you not caring to provide that info along with any tangible details about your system. So the only blindfire advise we can give you is this: Error "Licensing has stopped working".

If you are curious why don't you just highlight the timeline > hit option + T (the timeline gets sexier ) > select a clip > drop a filter on it > set keyframes to modify the filter overtime or use time remap and option click anyware in the time remap green ramping line to set a keyframe and keep your curious eye on the timeline and find that all those keyframes becomes visible and editable in the timeline?

Are you certain you finished downloading it? Typically, the download is huge and may take a long time.

Probably caused by the graphics card as seen in all 15 pages of this thread.

APPLE TV 2 HD model and updated to latest version 6.1.1 since doing that it won't set date and time and tells me my Apple ID and password are incorrect and I know there not. What do I do?

It connects to internet fine. I have tried restoring back to factory condition and hard wire update by connecting it to my Mac mini .
The date and time won't set. And won't acknowledge my Apple ID and password......... I am usually tech savy but this has caused me grief .
Do I need to downgrade my update....
But can't get any menus until I log in my apple account...
It can't log into my iTunes account until time and date have been set.
When I did the hard wire restore connected to Mac mini it wouldn't go past the date and time screen as it wouldn't when I did the wifi update too.
it just would get past that screen.

while checking my BW query times (using the technical content / statistics) I realized that the absolutely majority of time is spent for the "data manager".
So the next question was: What's the "data manager"? What is its function and how can I get more detailed information about the time-usage. How can I reduce the time needed in the "data manager"-step.
Could you please gimme some hints or links about that topic?
Searching the help.sap.com and the sdn (using the keywords "performance" and "data manager") didn't bring me far.

The Data Manager step in BI Statistics or an RSRT trace represents the database read time from your infoprovider. There are a number of ways you can improve this performance step (search for OLAP caching, aggregates, or BI Accelerator).

I have a 3rd Gen Ipod Touch and it says connect to itunes but is not recognized by itunes. I have no other options. All that is on the display is the USB pic with an arrow pointing upward to the ITunes blue circle.

I do not know the operating system and I have no backup on my PC.

First, try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. Since you have chosen not to maintain a backup, Recovery Mode will result in complete loss of data. Anything obtained from the iTunes Store can be downloaded again but everything else will be gone forever.

ITunes library on external drive won't load, iTunes says disk is full and only partial library loads. What is it doing, making another copy?

I have an archive of all my music on an external drive. I wanter to play the music on another computer. When I hooked up the drive and launched iTunes with option key, I linked up the library on the external. iTunes gets part way through linking then says can't load the rest as the disk is full. What disk? What is iTunes doing that it needs more hard drive space for files that already exist? Why can't iTunes just see the files on the external and play them without this seeming dupe process?

Tried hooking up my external drive to my Mini. This morning my Mini had all my info listed, but I couldn't play any songs, for obvious reasons. Now, my Mini is hooked up to the external, iTunes prefs are set on the path to the external - but there is no music in iTunes. No lists, no songs, nada. Just a virgin iTunes window. ***?

My iPod has the strange, strange problem that it won't display ZZ Top. I can find the songs by searching through Albums, but they just don't show up on the All Artists list.

It is because Apple is doing you a favor by not letting you access ZZ Top songs.
