Meter Validation Steps:
1.     The Validation Process begins with Meter Reading Order Creation when the expected consumption is determined for the meter reading to be recorded for each register. The meter reading status is u201C0u201D or un-entered at this time.
2.     The meter reading is entered via an upload program as part of the batch processing or entered manually.
This result is validated or evaluated against the permitted range of allowable meter reads/consumption for that register. The expected consumption is the basis for determining the range of the minimum and maximum values for the meter reading.
If the result is plausible, or valid, for all registers of the meter, the billing order becomes billable and the contract/installation is passed to billing for further processing. The meter reading status is updated to u201C1u201D or billable.
If the meter reading is validated as implausible, the meter reading result is transferred to the List of Implausibles for further processing (EL70). The status of the meter reading is u201C2u201D or automatically blocked. One or more independent validations can be failed in this validation process.
3.     During processing, the agent can release the meter reading for billing; the status is updated to u201C4u201D, released by clerk. The reading is accepted as measured. The agent can also process the implausible meter reading result using transaction code: EL27 Execute Correct Implausible Meter Reading Results. EL27 is recommended for individual processing.

EL70 is recommended for processing of implausibles for mass processing. It is not on the menu, however, one way to open the screen is:

Once the screen opens, click on the List button on the application toolbar
4.     The agent may also correct the meter reading. If this corrected read is validated as within range, the status is updated to u201C1u201D, billable.
5.     Alternatively, the reading can be determined to require follow up action and a service order is executed from the IC for re-read. A read status has been configured to support this flagging of the account for follow-up service order processing.
6.     When the service order is returned from the field, the CSR releases corrects, resets or possibly estimates the meter reading depending on the outcome of the service order processing.
7.     The meter reading is then passed to the billing engine for billing execution when the reading is validated as plausible.

1. for async sender/receiver adapters, you use modules before the standard adapter module.
2. for sync sender/receiver adapters, you can wither use modules before the standard adapter module (they will affect the request message) or after the adapter module (affecting the response message).

Central system Administration : User defined task groups

Hello,
In SolMan4.0, you can define user-task-groups (e.g. for daily system checks). The definition and processing of those tasks, works.
But they are not visible in the overview screen of the solution.
If there is only 1 user-defined task left, the overview does not show any open tasks
Any idea's ?

Hi Udo,
The frequency is set on 'every 3 days'.
We are on ST-400 SP4 (SP6 is not available I guess)
I only defined an entry in the tab 'defining User Task Groups'
and one entry in the tab 'Assigning User Tasks'
The user task itself is visble as 'open' in the list, but not in the overview of the systems (icon with a red + sign)
As I work through the tasks, the red +sign changes into a green sign, at the moment that there is one user-defined task left (all the other 'sap'-tasks are 'done').

I'm a little confused about what you're asking. Does the custom schema already exist within your target LDAP server? Are you trying to work out how to pass custom attribute values through as part of an OIM provisioning operation? Which particular LDAP Server and Connector are you using?
Or are you perhaps asking how to actually create a user-defined schema extension within the LDAP directory? In this case, that will completely depend on which LDAP Server implementation you're using and you should probably refer to the product docs for that product.

How to define "User defined" palette in IMAQ Display?

When I select the "User defined" palette in the display, it just shows the regular grayscale palette. I want to replace this with the "Rainbow" palette but slightly modified in range. How do I do this?

Thanks Greg, I will try that, looks like that's the ticket!
Also, something I haven't been able to figure out yet is how to find (let LabView create?) the enumerated lists that match up to whatever port needs it (in this case "Palette Type"). i've tried wiring up a blank enum but it doesn't get filled out, where can I find them or create them (without having to make them manually?)

then insert data into new created table
when we run sql select command for * from
following error occured.

Defining User Defined Message in Adhoc SA

Hi All,
Sorry if i am posting same query.
Our is Essbase Cube as source for OBIEE Reports.
When users are trying to retrive huge set of data it thorws severe Essbase Error during Adhoc Analysis.
Can we redirect to some other page or display pop-up message like "Please apply filters for attributes" whenever that error occurs.Please assist on this.

Applet reading System Propertery user.name

i got an applet which read the system property user.name .
i signed the applet. but still got accessdenied exception.
then i changed the java.policy file and the applet works fine.
but how can i do this for other users? is the java.policy file the only way? how can i make it easy for other users to run the applet?

What I did for my applet was I create a certificate for the applet file using the command 'keytool' with some extra options such as -genkey and then I used 'jarsigner' to sign my JAR file.
You might want to google on how to use the keytool function.

User Defined Activity Process Flow Help

I'm trying to create a process flow that will rename a file. I'm using the User Defined Activity, but I've ran into a couple problems. First some background info, Oracle 10G is the DB, and it's ran on a Unix system, the Oracle user account does have read/write access to the directories used.
For the Activity Parameters I've set

in the command section, I've tried every possible thing I can think of from : /usr/bin/ksh, /bin/ksh, ksh, /bin/bash, made a script outside owb with the same thing, and pointed it at that and still all I get is "/bin/bash: not found" or "/usr/bin/ksh: not found"
Ideas/suggestions, I'm open to anything.
As a side note I tried to do it with UTL_FILE, but I was informed by our DBA that it was disabled for security, so that's out.

What type of execution is configured for user defined activity (this type is defined in file Runtime.properties on server side, available types for UDA - SCHEDULER or NATIVE_JAVA)?
For SCHEDULER type ask your DBA about Uinux user used for executing external jobs (usually nobody user used with very limited rights - maybe this user doesn't have rights for executing any program/scripts).

Here is another way to accomplish what you wanted.
For the target mapping, use this sequence for mapping
Source element -> removeContext -> Your User-defined Function -> Target Element
When defining User-Defined Function, select "Cache Queue" option.
Since you are using removeContext before calling the UserDefined function, your input to the user defined function will be a String array without ResultList.CC.
Now manipulate the array the way you want it, and build the ResultList result.
After every 200 records, use method
void addContextChange().
This will insert the ResultList.CC at the appropriate places.
Use Display Queue in the Mapping Editor to see the debug values.

User-defined Attributes in CRM WebUI

Hi there,
I am using the Attribute 1 (defined in IMG->CRM->Master Data->BP->Define Attributes->Define User-Defined Attributes) to determine if a customer may or may not be given credit, just a simple yes or no attribute. My question is how to make this attribute be available when I'm creating a new BP in the WebUI under General Data?

I have a trouble with the same attributes in the "Account overview", in the view "BP_HEAD/AccountDetails", when i select a value in this fields and i try to save, the system display the error message: " Field group Attribute 1 is hidden; do not enter data in corresponding fields"
Have you solved this issue?

Best practice to share user defined reports?

What is the best practice to share user defined reports among team members?
Currently I can create a folder under the Reports/User Defined Reports system folder and any reports or subfolders under that can be exported into xml by right-clicking on the folder and selecting 'Save As'. Then sending the file over or put it on a shared point or check in to SVN, then the other team members can right click on the User Defined Reports system folder and chose "Open report..." and select the xml file.
Is there any more elegant way?
Is it a good idea to share the C:\Users\lgal\AppData\Roaming\SQL Developer\UserReports.xml on Windows, or ~/.sqldeveloper/UserReports.xml (on Linux) among users?
Is there a standard way to bring this under standard SVN control in SD?

I think the best thing would be if someone set up a config sharing site!
It would be very easy to do on system like drupal or e107. People could register and submit their configs to different download sections based on what sort of configs they are. My site runs e107 so it's not hard to see how easy it would be
It would be easy to set up - I could do it in about 30mins but I think I have done more than enough of that! There seems no need to officialize it to any degree and burden the server even more.
I guess user-cb could host it couldn't? If you restrict people to posting only small config files with no icons and link to big stuff offsite it should be tiny bandwidth usage.

How to transfer user defined accounting fields from SRM to ECC ?

We are running SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0 with classic scenario.
We have defined Business entity filed account assignment tab in SRM SHC.
New fields are also defined in tables BBP_C_ACC_F and in BBP_C_ACCFD and added in the structure also INCL_EEW_PD_ACC_CSF. New fields are also defined in srpo accounting.
In R/3 the same field is already defined as it is standard one.
When I create PR or PO i entered the Business entity for the account assignment R i.e real estate.
However, when I order my shopping cart with values in new fields, the values are not transferred into backend.
Standard fields transfer nicely, but the user defined fields dont transfer.
Can any please let me know what we have to do for these user defined values to transfer to back end. We need to implement any BADI ?

Thank you Arham!   I'm sorry you had to go to the trouble of creating a test VI to get the answer. I thought that this might have been documented somewhere and I was just missing it. It still may be documented somewhere but sometimes creating a test VI is the quicker path to an answer than is a search for where the documentation is stored and the test VI is probably the more conclusive answer anyway.
In any case, thanks to your answer, it is now documented in a manner that should not be too hard for others to find, should they have the same question.
