What is minimum poll rate for lookout protocol drivers using modbus ethernet

When configuring the device in lookout protocol drivers as modbus ethernet, what is the fastest update rate that can be used. The default value is 1 second and if I try to enter 0:00:500 the computer beeps and will not accept the value

It's possible to enter poll rates smaller than 1 second. Just don't use a colon but a dot as a decimal seperator for the seconds. That means, don't enter "0:00:500" but e. g. "0:00.5". Entering simply ".5" would do it, too.

  • What is Minimum database requirement for EBS R12

What is Minimum database requirement for EBS R12? for example if it works only with enterprise edition or with standard edition also.
    Regards,
    Sandeep V

Question is very interesting and very important. The link does not answer if "standard edition" can be used. Obviously, Rapid Install installs EE database. But we can move the database to another dedicated database server.
And the question becomes "Can we move it to a Standard Edition database server"? Huge ramifications on costs. Extremely important. Nowhere I could find positive answer. I wonder if anyone had found an answer?AFAIK, it is not supported.
My own research shows that VIS database (built at home) has partitioned tables in APPLSYS and APPS schemas. Partitioning is not supported in Standard Edition.Correct.
I wonder if we can migrate the database and manually move several partitioned tables into non-partitioned Standard Edition. Will EBS R12 break? Will Oracle Support cancel its support?Oracle will not support this -- Please log a SR to confirm this with Oracle Support.
    Thanks,

We are facing issues while updating standard rate for any enterprise resource using CSOM. The field standard rate is not available in the enterprise resource. Is it possible to update the standard rate for any resource using CSOM ?
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Vikas,
You can do it via the PSI.
Please find below a blog post with a PSI code sample for updating the resources standard rate:

  • Can Labview v7.0 talk to a Micrologix 1100 PLC via Lookout Protocol Drivers OPC Server v4.5?

    Micrologix 1100 <-> Lookout Protocol Drivers v4.5 <-> Labview v7.0
    Hello all,
I am helping a local company to use their existing seat of Labview v7.0 to talk over Ethernet with a new Micrologix 1100 PLC.  We were hoping to use their existing OPC server that came with Labview (circa 2000) so that they do not have to purchase a new OPC server.  Their Labview package is the "NI Developer Suite Professional v7.0 Control Edition" which comes with a "DSC Module" which contains an OPC server called "Lookout Protocol Drivers OPC Server v4.5 (build7)".  This software came out several years before the Micrologix 1100 was born, but OPC is supposed to be a cross-platform, cross-generation standard isnt it?
So, when I set-up the OPC server, it asks me which type of PLC I have and the only choices are AB_Logix (Micrologix 1500), AB_PLC2, AB_PLC5 (15 different flavors), and AB_SLC500 (5 different flavors).  Can I use one of these that might be similar to the ML1100?  I definitely want to use ethernet, not serial.
My application is just reading and writing a couple of variables from/to the Binary, Integer and Float data storage locations approx once per second.
Does anyone see a problem doing this without having to upgrade the OPC server to something that "officially supports" the ML1100 (Like Kepware)?
    Thank you very much!!
    frenchy

    Hi Frency,
You can always just try the 1500 and cross your fingers!  We could try to speculate on the forum, but a quick test would certainly be a better use of time.  However, I do recommend that if you can upgrade the OPC server to one that supports the 1100 driver you should do so.  Kepware and NI-OPC Servers both support this device.

  • What are minimum passing parameters for function module CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2

    Hi
Im going to use FM: CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 and I want to only pass WERKS, but when I execute FM is gives exception as CALL_INVALID.
I saw all the Import parameters are Optional, but I think I need to pass more inputs to FM.
Please let me know what are MINIMUM input parameters required to run this FM
    Thanks

    Hi
In my requirement, there are range of WERKS and MATNR which has to be given from selection screen, where as In CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 function module I can only give single value for WERKS and MATNR.
Can any one guide me how can I implement this?

  • What is the going Rate $$$ for Contract work?

Sorry, I know this is a bit off topic but I was interested in taking a survey of what contractors are getting paid in Ontario, Canada for this type of work. I just completed my contract with a well established international company but the problem is I'm going through via a consulting company. I'm reflecting now if I was on target with my rate of pay. After I've done the work, feels like I should have asked for more (I know, isn't that always the case!) but would still like to learn what is out there as a respectable rate. I've been told this is a very specialized skill so before I continue to take on other work, I would feel more comfortable with learning what other people are charging for contract work.
    Many thanks.

blackbird production was relatively short lived.  as i remember it,  blackbird case sales by hp were rare and were for $1000 when they decided to sell the first case only purchases. 99% of the blackbird case only sales  were sold on ebay by voodoo pc under the name DAC Computer after hp decided to shut voodoo down.  DAC Comupter also sold all remaining blackbird components on ebay. any blackbird cases not purchased from hp directly were purchased from DAC Computer at the demise of voodoo pc. i did purchase quite a few things from DAC and still have a brand new case  (spare )among other things from them.

  • What is the standard rate for ordering extra copies of a Photobook?

I will be shooting a wedding in the coming months, and as a part of their package they are ordering a Photobook, which I will make through iPhoto/Aperture.
The couple are looking to order extra copies of this Photobook, and would like to know how much the extra copies will cost?
Can anyone tell me the standard rate for ordering extra copies of Photobooks.
If a general rate does not apply, can someone give me the cost of an extra copy of a standard 20-page book?

    Greetings,
    Pricing information is here: http://www.apple.com/ilife/print-products.html
Keep in mind there will be shipping and applicable taxes which you can find out about by making a book in iPhoto and putting in your information when you go to buy it (it gives you the price total before you actually hit the final buy button).
    Cheers.

  • What is the bit rate for the songs streaming on iTunes Radio?

    Is it 256kbps AAC file?

I have to agree with you.  There are several forum discussions on bit rate being as high as 256 kbps but I don't see how it could be more than 96 kbps based on the poor sound quality I'm hearing.  I'm comparing it to an internet radio station that is 128 kbps and sounds much better.
    Am I missing something?

  • Minimum sample rate for 10KHz square wave with MIO

Need to display a 10KHz square wave input to a 16E MIO. Presently sampling 1 channel at 400KS/s. Gives me 2.5uS/sample. Even at 800KS/s-same thing. How come I can't get a decent picture of the waveform. Presently I see a ramp up-down akin to an RC time constant. At 1KHz I get a decent waveform. I'm wondering if I have something set wrong in my program. Did I miss something in determining the proper sample rate?

    Hi Steve,
Are you sure you are sampling at 400 and 800 KS/s?
I thought those boards only go up to about 100KS/s.
(show your point on your plot. Are you getting 40 samples per period?)
If you really are sampling that fast, then you have partially answered your own question. There is a small capacitance at teh input to the board. A high impeadance source will combine the input capacitance of the board to give you the charge ramp you mentioned. Only solution to this situation is ussing a low impeadance output buffer between your signal source and the AI.

  • Thought I already asked this, but don't see it.  Want to know what the "Render" feature is for and how you use it.

I've watched several of the tutorials.  I was able to upload a video yesterday to YouTube, but today, I made a new video, and after three tries, never could get it to upload.  Kept getting an error asking if I wanted to TRY AGAIN.
As I was editing my video, the sound never seemed to work right with the video.  The video would freeze, and the sound would keep going.  Strange.  I figured I needed to push "Render", but have no idea what it does.  Can't find a tut on it.
Any help will be much appreciated.  I have six versions of PS, and I have never been able to get videos to upload to YouTube except for the one I got to go yesterday.  Failure today.

Big question. After you pressed the Render button and the Timeline rendering was completed, did the video portion play back better in the Edit area monitor?
Timeline rendering is just a preview feature. It does not fix a problem. It is the program telling you if you are viewing the best possible preview that the project has to offer. The program uses a color indicator line over the Timeline content to tell you if you are seeing the best possible preview.
No color line  or green line = you are seeing the best possible preview, no Timeline rendering needed or available. In this condition, if you hit the Render button, all you will do is play back the Timeline content in the monitor...no Timeline Rendering. An orange line over the Timeline content is the program telling you that you do not have the best possible preview and in order get that you need do Timeline rendering. You can do that
    a. pressing the Render button above the Timeline area
    b. going to Timeline Menu/Render Work Area or use the shortcut for that, just press the Enter Key of the computer main keyboard.
You do not have to do Timeline rendering, but it is your window of opportunity to catch a problem sooner than later. It is particularly indicated
when for titles, effects, transitions, and non native formats.
And, if you are getting the orange line over content suggesting that you do Timeline rendering, you can select the area where you
want the rendering done under that orange line.....you set the gray tabs of the Work Area Bar to span the area that you want rendered.
Also, the process of Timeline rendering deposits preview files on your hard drive automatically. These preview fields for a SD project are DV AVI files (whether you render a still or video file) and for HD project are MPEG2.mpg files (whether you render a still or video file). You should keep watch for pile ups of those preview files if you are getting in a free hard drive space crunch.
    Screenshot from Premiere Elements 11
This screenshot is from Premiere Elements 12
I could go on and on about Timeline Rendering. Do you want more?
As for the workflow problems that you are now having, have we discussed them before. I will look for any of your prior threads to see
if we have talked about these problems before.
Please let me know if you are OK with the above.
    Thanks.
