Hi!?Wheni loaded a video onto my player and began to play it, the audio didn't work. so i'm wondering why? has anyone else out there ever experienced this problem? could someone out there help me?

Maybe the video file contain non supported audio format. You can try using this utility called Gspot(google for it) to help identify the video/audio codec that's encoded in the video files. Btw, which player do you have?

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.

In the memory summary, what is "Other Players?"

Currently I have a Flash program which, in IE9, has a 1GB footprint with 311MB of "Uncategorized" allocations and 541MB of "Other Players."
1) What does the "Other Players" categorization in the memory panel mean?
2) What's the plan for adding additional memory categories to help developers understand what's going on at runtime?

A Flash player process can simultaneously play multiple SWFs, either because you are in a browser that has more than one SWF playing (on the same web page, or in different browser windows), or because you are using worker threads. When you look at the Scout session for one of the SWFs, the "Total Memory" number tells how memory the Flash Player process is using, and the "Other Players" category tells how much memory is being used by SWFs other than the one you're currently looking at.
Our highest priority right now is to improve the reporting of memory usage. Watch for some cool new memory features in future release(s).

What is the headphone probl

I've read a number of messages talking about people having it, but what is it's Is there a way to tell if I'll have a problem with my Micro? Are there ways to either prevent it, or fix it once it happens (other than sending it back in for a new one?)

It is definatly NOT 50% of Micro owners. That is not even close to the failure rate of these devices. It's something less than % most likely. They most likely have sold at least million Micro's by now and there are perhaps 3-4 dozen people reporting headphone failures here. I know it doesn't pay to speculate but I'm not pulling these numbers outta my butt.
Also, Creative Support has never been anything to me but helpful. I got a full replacement player in a matter of 2 weeks from Creative as soon as I spoke to them about my failed headphone jack. Support forums are not the the place to take to heart what you read. A lot pf people here are disgruntled or frrustrated with a problem they've encountered so you have to take what you read here with a grain of salt.

IPod, but what of MP3 Players (not Apple hardware)

I don't have an iPod. I was assuming that iTunes allows you to download MP3 to play on non-iPods. But the file format is M4P. When I tried to convert it to MP3 it told me I could not.
So is iTunes not a source of music for my MP3 Player? I have a SanDisk.

Facing Proble while installing Oracle 9iAS

Hi All,
I am facing a problem while installing the Oracle 9iAS software..I have Windows NT Service Pack 6a .. When I am installing the Oracle 9iAS the installer showing an error "Windows Systems File has not been run on this system. One or more Operating System Files currently use need to be updated".
What could be the proble.. Could u please help me out regarding this..

you have to have some system files in winnt system by oracle installer.
you can do this by ..
1)remove all ias installed products and its services from thet host.
2)run "wfs.exe" from 9iAS disk1.
3)reboot your host computer.
4)install iAS .

What mp3 player would you recomme

It seems like my Zen is about to die, so I'm wondering what some of you might suggest as a replacement. I really don't want an iPod 'cause I'm in NY and everyone and their dog has one. The specs I'm looking for, in order of importance, are:

I'm leaning towards the Zen Micro. But my last mp3 player was a Zen Jukebox, and it was pretty good, but it crashed (the player just froze on the EAX screen). I'm wondering if this is what all mp3 players do eventually, or if there is something unstable about Creative players, or something. I didn't drop it or anything. In some ways I'd feel better if I did drop it, 'cause at least I'd know why it broke.

HD DVD players compatible with HD content on standard DVD's

I've taken a look at the forums and have found folks successful at getting HD DVD content burned onto standard (red laser) DVD's to play on HD DVD players from Toshiba. Has anyone else had good experience with other players?

Um, OK. I have no idea what happened to my question. I could have sworn it was there when I went to preview it. Anyway, I was wondering what successes (and failures) folks have had with playing HD content burned to standard (red laser) discs. Specifically, I'd like to know what HD-DVD players people have used. I am aware of the Toshiba A1 and A2 working. Have any others?

Love Front Row! What else can I do with it???

I just got a new macbook pro and love the fact that I can access all of the "Shared" iTunes content on my G5 hard drive wirelessly! Which means I don't have to worry about the limited laptop hard drive space filling up with iTunes stuff.
Cannot wait until 10.5 comes out and I have Front Row on my G5 Tower as well!!!!
So what else can I do with Front Row?
I noticed I can access everything in my Home/Movies Folder on my macbook pro, but not the Home/Movies Folder on my G5. Is there a way to do this?
What about other players? I heard there was a VLC plugin that would allow you to use the Apple Remote with the VLC Player, but it seems to be off the web now.
While I can access the shared iphoto, music and movies from my G5, I can't play DVD's that are in my G5.
Anyone else out there discover any cool tricks with this thing?

VLC does not require a plug-in for the Apple Remote any longer - this functionality is now part of VLC. As long as VLC has system focus the remote will control the application.

I had to change my apple id but the icloud account still has the old one. How can i change it.

My apple id was cancelled by apple due to a problem and they suggested me to make a new apple id with a different email adress. Thats what i did, the proble is that the i cloud has the old apple id and i was trying to change it but i cant and the iphone keeps asking me to put de password on the old apple id wich is no longer in use
The second problem is that when i was trying to change that, something happened and all my contacts were erased!
I still have them on my ipad, but i dont know what to do, is all a mess with my devices!
Can somebody help me please?

With iOS 7 you will have to provide the password for the old ID in order to delete the existing account from your iPad. If you can't do this, contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Produces & Services>Apple ID>iTunes Store, App Store or Mac App Store>Disabled Apple ID.
As far as your missing contacts, when you get the password for the old ID reset, sign in with the ID and your new password at icloud.com and check to see if your contacts are there. If they are, export them as a vCard as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3606. You can then import this vCard to your new account as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH3605.

Maintain Series Group - In this IMG activity, you define the different excise series groups within your company. Series groups allow you to maintain multiple number ranges for the outgoing excise documents. Based on excise regulations and exemptions from the authorities you can maintain multiple number series for outgoing documents. But each of these series has to be declared to the excise authorities.
- Define excise series groups based on type of outgoing document
- Assign series group to excise registration ID
- If no financial postings are required for an Excise invoice in this seris group then you tick the 'No utilization' indicator.
- If the CENVAT has to be paid immediately and you need not wait for the Fort nightly payment then mark the 'Immediate Utilization' Iindicator. Example - You could define two series groups, group 001 for excise invoices, and group 002 for 57 F4 documents.
- No account postings for CENVAT in sales cycle
- No utilization Flag
If you do not need any CENVAT utilization for an excise invoice but would like to just generate an excise invoice then you need to mark this indicator.
If the flag is checked then system will create an Excise invoice in the given Series group but there will not be any account postings or Part2 postings.
Immediate Utilization of CENVAT - Specifies that when you create an excise invoice, the system immediately pays the amount from CENVAT and creates the Part II entry. Such invoices will not be listed for fortnightly utilization.
If you have both fortnightly and immediate utilization for the same excise group, the account determination within CIN IMG should point to the ED interim account.

Nomad jukebox zen xtra - cannot create file w message when trying totransfer fi

My 30G nomad jukebox zen xtra was working great until recently. Now when I power my player up after a day of no use, it takes 0-5 minutes to rebuild the library. When I begin to transfer files using Media source after a few transfers I get the "unable to create file" message and can no longer transfer. I have tried disk clean up and re-booting to no avail. I tried installing the new firmware and this worked for about 80 songs and then I began getting the same problems. I have completely cleaned my PC of adware and spyware and this has no effect. I love my player but am becoming a little frustrated. Would anyone have any ideas? This all started when I turned on my player one day and all of the music was gone. I re-transfereed everything back and later noticed that I had two of everything. I deleted all of the duplicates and from that point on it began to take 5 minutes to rebuild the library but I could still transfer files with no problems. One last thing, when I run disk cleanup in rescue mode, once it gets to 99% done it stalls there for about 0-5 minutes before going back to the rescue mode menu.

i experienced the same problem. until 2 weks ago it worked fine. but a visited the support site and found out that all the software was new. so i downloaded the new versions. even the new firmware with the e at the end. i was at the edge to smash my monitor when i found out that after the firmware update the sound was hearing so quiet. after rebuil os and searching 2 hour on the net for the previous firmware release, prior to E release, i solve the sound problem.
but another appeard. cannot copy files on the player. if i choose to delete them, they disappear. i turn off the zen nx, turn back on and the files were still there. practically all the copy/delete/new folder/paste function were blocked. and the same problem on WIN XP and win 2000. all this because i installed the new versions for nomad explorer, nomad mediacenter, nomad plugin for media center.
solution: uninstalled all the creative software. put the original cd in the dri've. installed all the original software. it was running perfect. so, i could operate again in the data files on the player.
so i thought it was the driver problem since the media library i could access just fine. so i kept the original driver but installed all the new software (mediasource, nomad explorer, nomad zen plugin for mediasource).
guess what? the accesing proble appeard again. i think that the better solution is to stick to the original software.
and one last find. after the E firmware adveture, i experince what other are and was praing not to happen to me. the battery is lasting much much short period. and the green light if you look carefully is fluctuating in intensity. this was not happening until i burn the new E firmware. .0.02e. now after the rebuild os and writng a firmware it displays .0.02 without the E. the sound is like before. 24 damages your ears but the battery problem stills persit. it driving me crazy.
