Question

the teacher has given me a project. I try to remove some method of one component or add new method to that component therefore it become a new component. can I do that. how to start? can I find some sample code? for example JButton can be treated as a component. I remove a method "disable" from JButton. therefore JButton become a new component that is same as JButton except without "disable" method.at first, I try to do that in user-defined component. I think I should use some class in java.bean package. but still have no clue

here i have created a new type of button that plays an AudioClip when you press it. i think this is what you are talking about, but this is much mcuh more interesting than a Button without a disable() method. don't be so lame.
